80: Chapter 80 "The Creator God"
As the Blue Spirit God drew closer to Lin Sheng and the others, Eighteen stepped forward to shield Lin Sheng behind its back.
However, Lin Sheng gently pushed Eighteen aside and gave it a reassuring look.
Standing on the ocean's surface, Lin Sheng's gaze remained fixed on the blue light gradually emerging from the depths.
The Blue Spirit God appeared this time in the form of an energy entity; once it left the ocean, its energy body became extremely conspicuous in the air.
Without a word, Lin Sheng went straight up and took a bite out of the Blue Spirit God.

That familiar sensation caused the blue light surrounding the Blue Spirit God to flicker involuntarily several times.
Its body shifted, and a blue giant standing ten thousand meters tall appeared before Lin Sheng's eyes.
Having suffered a disadvantage in size against Lin Sheng last time, the Blue Spirit God had learned its lesson.
Encountering Lin Sheng again, it would not repeat the same mistake.
The Blue Spirit God's golden-glowing eyes watched Lin Sheng, yet it did not strike rashly.
The Blue Spirit God also knew that Lin Sheng's abilities countered it perfectly; fighting him would only result in mutual destruction.
Lin Sheng matched the Blue Spirit God's gaze, and as their eyes met, he released the "Divinity" within him without restraint.
The "Divinity" was targeted only at the Blue Spirit God; Eighteen and Sky felt nothing more than a slight sense of oppression.
But for the Blue Spirit God, it was different.
As a fellow god, it could profoundly sense just how powerful Lin Sheng's Divinity truly was.
The Blue Spirit God had a feeling that perhaps even the Supreme God of its own world did not possess such powerful Divinity.
Could it be that this was a "Creator God"?
At this thought, the Blue Spirit God suddenly felt that everything was explained.
No wonder this lower lifeform could contend with it even while so weak.
It turned out he was a hidden Creator God.
However, why did such powerful Divinity have no substantive effect on it?
The Blue Spirit God suddenly realized this problem.
Although this "Creator God's" Divinity was immense—powerful enough to make it feel suffocated and unable to even think of resisting—it seemed to end there.
Under normal circumstances, shouldn't its own Divinity have collapsed long ago when faced with such powerful divine suppression?
Then why wasn't it dead yet?
At that moment, the Blue Spirit God suddenly remembered something.
When it arrived in this universe, its body had undergone a transformation; it viewed the one who modified its body as its Creator.
The Creator had told it that Divinity and divine bodies would be rejected by the Great Universe's underlying logic.
Therefore, after arriving in this universe, the Blue Spirit God discarded its original divine body and turned to use this energy body created for it by the Creator.
The issue of the divine body was easy to solve, but Divinity was a major problem.
Initially, the Creator simply told the Blue Spirit God not to use its Divinity to evade rejection by the Great Universe's underlying logic.
But this didn't work well.
That constant feeling of being suppressed and rejected made the Blue Spirit God extremely uncomfortable.
Fortunately, a friend of the Creator had given the Blue Spirit God a "deep blue pedestal."
The "deep blue pedestal" was an energy crystal naturally produced by this Great Universe; though rare, it held little more than collection value to a civilization at the level of the "Creators."
The "deep blue pedestal" had a unique property: it could help things from the Outer Universe to some extent by offsetting the rejection caused by incompatibility with the Great Universe's underlying logic.
With the deep blue pedestal, although the Great Universe's underlying logic still suppressed its Divinity, the feeling of rejection was gone.
Recalling this, when the Blue Spirit God looked at Lin Sheng again, its gaze returned to normal from its previous terror.
Yet beneath this normal surface, a hint of caution was faintly revealed.
Regardless of whether Lin Sheng's previous identity was a lower lifeform or a hidden Creator God.
At least now, the status Lin Sheng projected gave the Blue Spirit God the genuine feeling of a being that surpassed a Supreme God.
Facing such an existence, the Blue Spirit God set aside any thoughts of contempt.
Even if this "Creator God" was like itself, suppressed by the underlying logic of this Great Universe.
A Creator God was still a Creator God; in the Blue Spirit God's universe, they were beings of legend, and even the Supreme Gods didn't understand what kind of abilities a Creator God truly possessed.
As a minor figure who would tremble under the aura of a Supreme God, the Blue Spirit God understood even less about Creator Gods.
Right now, this "Creator God" was in a suppressed state just like itself and couldn't do much to it.
But if it truly provoked this "Creator God," who knows if he could push through the Great Universe's suppression to forcibly kill it?
With this in mind, the Blue Spirit God decided to temporarily avoid the brunt of the conflict and not engage in a direct confrontation with this "Creator God."
It would wait for its Creator to arrive and then act as circumstances dictated.
...
On the other side, Lin Sheng continued to use his Divinity to pressure the Blue Spirit God.
Seeing that the Blue Spirit God had developed the intent to retreat, Lin Sheng did not push too hard.
The current situation was ideal; he feared that if he pushed the Blue Spirit God too far, the creature might lash out, and Lin Sheng truly wouldn't be able to withstand that.
Other than his "Devour" talent, which could cause substantive damage to the Blue Spirit God, his other talents did little damage, and some did none at all.
If the Blue Spirit God got serious, it could completely suppress Lin Sheng by relying on its sheer size.
Since the Blue Spirit God did not attack, Lin Sheng did not press forward either.
Lin Sheng partitioned a section of space within the Blue Spirit God's territory as his own.
To this, the Blue Spirit God showed no outward objection.
The two thus remained on the seabed in a state of superficial peace.
...
Lin Sheng and the other two entered the deep sea.
Due to Sky's unique body structure, it was not affected in the slightest by the intense water pressure of the deep sea.
Once they were temporarily safe, Eighteen began to tell Lin Sheng about its experiences over the years.
It extended a claw and wrote on the sand and rocks of the seabed:
"After we parted last time, after the Blue Planet had circled the star a few times, I began to feel a faint sense of unease."
"The source of this unease came from the outer reaches of this star system; I guessed that this unease was brought upon me by the 'Legitimate Heir'."
"With this feeling of unease, I couldn't find a stable environment to grow, and since I was even more worried about you, I left the Blue Planet to search for your whereabouts."
"Because you had been gone for so long, I couldn't find you via electromagnetic signals."
"But I knew that you could grow rapidly by feeding, and whenever you grew to a certain point, you would undergo a period of... Evolution?"
"I speculated that the duration of your Evolution should be related to the energy contained in the items you ate; therefore, I thought of Little Things Star."
