213: Chapter 213 A Meeting of Fate

Siso turned around, his dark eyes sweeping across every team member.

"This planet holds the hope of us returning home."

"What was that sound?" The man in charge of the perimeter lookout looked up abruptly.

It was a woman.

Lina licked her scarlet lips, her gaze sweeping over the giant beast's corpse before finally landing on the burly Dazhuang, as if she had found an interesting toy.

"Not bad. It's barely acceptable to use as a slave."

"What did you say!"

Dazhuang had a fiery temper. He roared immediately, exerted force under his feet, causing the ground to shatter instantly, and his hulking body charged toward Lina like a cannonball.

He was a strength-based War God. This impact was enough to flatten a small building!

However, Lina did not even move a step.

Just as Dazhuang was about to collide with her, her seemingly slender right leg kicked upward in an angle that defied human mechanics.

Dazhuang's proud charging force was as fragile as paper before this kick.

He flew backward at a speed even faster than when he arrived. His chest visibly caved in, and his body crashed through three ruined buildings behind him with a thunderous roar, eventually becoming buried in the deeper ruins, his life or death unknown.

Brother Hu felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up. He roared, his battle-hardened instincts causing him to swing his blade backward without even looking.

"Click." With a soft sound, his wrist was easily gripped by a fair hand, and the war blade could not move an inch further.

Lina's figure appeared ghost-like behind him, her other hand holding a pure black metal ring, which she gently pressed against his neck.

The cold metal ring automatically closed, clamping him tightly.

A sense of powerlessness instantly spread throughout his body, and the war blade in Brother Hu's hand dropped to the ground with a "clang."

Almost at the same time, the remaining man was whipped away by her tail and had a collar put on him while still in mid-air.

"Bullshit!" A man slammed the table, stood up, and roared: "What Visitors from Beyond! Playing god! They're just some Evolvers playing god! If they piss me off, I'll blast them to death with a cannon!"

His words did not receive any agreement. Because everyone had seen the nonchalance with which the enemy killed in the footage.

That was not a battle; it was playing with prey.

"Comrade, please calm down." Li Zhenguo looked up at him. "This isn't us talking nonsense; this is intelligence obtained at the cost of lives. If those people knew we were holding this meeting here, none of us would escape."
