30: Chapter 30 The Female Anchor Comes to the Door

Hearing "What will you trade for it?", Xiao Xue seemed to grab onto a lifeline, a glimmer of light sparking in her eyes.

"Then I can be your maid! Yes! A maid!"

"I can help you clean, do laundry, and cook! I can do anything!"

"As long as you give me something to eat, just a little bit will do!"

She tried hard to sell her remaining value, lowering her posture completely, with none of her usual high-and-mighty demeanor left.

The expression on Song Yang's face did not change at all; he said nothing, simply taking a step back.

"Bang!"

The heavy security door slammed shut in front of Xiao Xue, crisp and decisive, without a hint of hesitation.

Inside the door, there was no more sound.

Footsteps sounded, heading straight up the stairs!

Inside the door, there was still deathly silence.
