341: Chapter 335 Strangulation
They had fought their way here, surviving by the skin of their teeth; they knew better than anyone how terrifying the mechanical creations along the way were.
This person, along with that majestic Star Beast beneath his feet, had actually appeared here completely unscathed?
And looking at his calm and composed demeanor, it was as if he were merely taking a stroll in his back garden.
"Go!"
Realizing something was wrong, Silver Tiger was the first to react, unleashing a roar with all his might.
This roar also snapped the other three out of their stupor.
Whatever ruin core, whatever immense wealth—in the face of absolute mortal danger, it all became a joke.
Wolf Fierce let out a strange cry, retracted his claws, and forcibly twisted his body mid-air.
Upon landing, he pushed off with all four limbs, transforming into a gray shadow and rushing madly toward the entrance of the passage they had come from.
Jia Yi and Scorpion Five were not slow to react either; both turned around almost simultaneously, fleeing with every ounce of strength they had.
At this moment, they had only one thought: to escape first and figure things out later.
Just as Wolf Fierce was about to reach the entrance of the passage.
"Hum—"
The six-armed robot, which had been sitting quietly the whole time, finally made a new move.
It slowly raised one of its arms, spread its five metal fingers, and gently clenched its hand toward the empty wall.
"Boom!"
A deafening roar echoed.
The passage in front of Wolf Fierce that should have been the exit was instantly sealed off by a massive, incredibly thick metal door!
Following that, the same rumbling sounds echoed from the other directions in the space one after another.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
One metal door after another descended from the walls, completely turning the entire circular space into an airtight iron can.
Wolf Fierce slammed headfirst into the cold metal door, knocking himself dizzy.
He looked back, all color drained from his face.
It was over.
They were trapped like turtles in a jar.
Scorpion Five's voice was trembling.
Watching that six-armed robot slowly stand up, fear filled his chest.
That high-tier robot was actually obeying that man's orders!
At this moment, the six-armed robot had completely risen from the throne.
Its six arms folded in front of it in a mysterious trajectory.
In the center of its folded palms, a fist-sized energy ball, flashing with destructive electric light, was rapidly forming.
"Scatter!"
Silver Tiger's eyes were practically splitting; he forced his body to fly to the side.
Without needing his warning, the other three had already sensed the energy capable of tearing them to shreds.
Wolf Fierce, Jia Yi, and Scorpion Five lunged in three different directions like cats whose tails had been stepped on.
The very next second after they scattered.
"Swish!"
A blinding white beam of light, over a meter thick, shot out abruptly from the six-armed robot's palms!
The target of the beam was Wolf Fierce, who had just turned around!
Every hair on Wolf Fierce's body stood on end; the shadow of death completely engulfed him.
He wanted to dodge, but he had rushed too hard earlier; his old strength was spent, and his new strength hadn't yet formed.
Coupled with the injuries from the previous battle, his movements were half a beat too slow.
The beam grazed his body and hit his left hind leg.
That thick wolf leg, the moment it touched the beam, was like ice thrown into a raging fire; flesh and bone alike were instantly vaporized, disappearing without a trace, leaving only a lingering mist of blood in its place.
"Aaaaah—!"
The delayed, excruciating pain made Wolf Fierce let out a shriek that didn't sound human.
He crashed heavily to the ground, rolling frantically while clutching his empty hind leg.
Blood gushed from the stump, dyeing a large patch of the ground red.
This scene made the other three feel their scalps tingle and their hands and feet go cold.
One hit!
Just one hit, and it had crippled the powerful Wolf Fierce!
How were they supposed to fight this?
However, the six-armed robot clearly didn't give them time to think.
"Swish! Swish! Swish!"
Several more beams of light shot out in succession, like the scythe of death, beginning to cut wildly through the sealed space.
The blinding white light became the only master of this place.
Wherever the beams passed, the hard metal floor was plowed into deep, charred trenches.
Jia Yi and Scorpion Five were terrified, both pushing their movement techniques to the limit, dodging miserably within the space.
One beam flew past Jia Yi's scalp, shaving off a large piece of his shell and sending sparks flying.
Another beam directly blocked Scorpion Five's retreat; he had no choice but to slam his tail against the ground, using the recoil to force a change in direction, only narrowly avoiding it.
Silver Tiger's situation was the worst.
A beam swept across; he had nowhere left to dodge.
In his desperation, he could only use his last bit of strength to curl his body into a ball, using his hard back to take the hit.
"Bang!"
The beam slammed solidly into his back.
Silver Tiger felt an irresistible force hit him; his entire body was blasted away, crashing heavily into the distant wall with a dull thud before sliding to the ground, where he spat out a large mouthful of blood mixed with chunks of internal organs.
The tiger skin on his back was completely charred, revealing ghastly white bones.
Beside the robot, the image of a small boy, visible only to him, appeared—it was Zeus.
"How is it? The power of my new body isn't bad, right?"
Zeus stood with his hands on his hips, looking triumphant. "And that was only using one percent of its energy reserves."
"Finish it quickly," Song Yang said coldly, spitting out the four words.
"Just watch!"
Having received the order, Zeus seemed to have even more fun.
On the ground, the eerie red light on the six-armed robot flared intensely.
Its six arms suddenly spread out like a peacock fanning its tail, and in the palm of each arm, a new energy ball began to condense.
Six!
When they saw that the six-armed robot was condensing energy in the palm of every single arm, Jia Yi and Scorpion Five were nearly scared out of their wits.
They couldn't even handle one energy ball; with six firing at once, this wasn't a matter of dodging—they would be instantly vaporized, leaving not even a single hair behind.
"Call for help! Quickly, call for help!"
Scorpion Five's voice was distorted; he screamed shrilly.
He no longer cared about any treasures; he just wanted to survive.
He suddenly pulled a blood-red crystal from his chest and crushed it with all his might.
An invisible ripple centered on him instantly passed through the thick metal walls and spread in all directions.
This was their demon clan's distress signal, used only in critical moments.
Once issued, all demon clan members on this planet who received the signal, regardless of what they were doing, had to drop everything and rush to provide support at top speed.
Beside him, Silver Tiger struggled to crawl up from the ground, watching the six increasingly bright energy balls with eyes full of resentment and unwillingness.
He couldn't understand why a seemingly ordinary human could command such a terrifying war machine.
"Boom—!"
Zeus didn't give them any more time.
Six blinding white beams of light shot out simultaneously from six different directions, weaving into an airtight net of death within the small circular space.
There were no blind spots.
The retreat was completely cut off.
Jia Yi and Scorpion Five only had time to let out a desperate roar before being instantly engulfed by two intersecting beams of light.
No screaming, no struggling.
Their bodies, along with the shells and stingers they were so proud of, were instantly reduced to basic particles in that destructive energy, dissipating into the air.
Silver Tiger's situation was slightly better; with his last breath, he curled his body into the corner of the wall.
But there were simply too many beams.
One beam swept past the top of his head, shaving off half his skull.
Another beam pierced directly through his chest, leaving a huge, charred hole that went straight through.
Silver Tiger's body stiffened. He lowered his head with difficulty, looking at the hole in his chest that could fit a basketball. His mouth opened, but he couldn't say a single word.
A few minutes later, the four powerful experts who had intruded were all wiped out.
"Done! Easy and pleasant!"
Zeus's small boy form hopped around Song Yang, snapping his fingers. "What's next? Should I open this can and we go out for some fresh air?"
Song Yang didn't answer; he was observing the movements across the entire planet through the ship's scanning instruments.
Just a moment ago, he had clearly sensed two very special signals being transmitted from here.
Immediately following that, the situation across the entire planet underwent a bizarre change.
In a massive primeval jungle, a giant python over three hundred meters long was tightly constricting a human warrior, on the verge of strangling him to death.
Suddenly, the python's movements paused. It released its prey and abruptly turned its head, looking toward the direction of the canyon.
The next second, its massive body erupted with astonishing speed, slithering madly toward that direction.
On the other side, on a desolate Gobi desert, thousands upon thousands of insectoid warriors were locked in a fierce, inextricable battle with human armored units.
A giant scarab beetle, the size of a tank, had just torn open the armor of an infantry fighting vehicle with its sharp mouthparts.
But just as it was about to enjoy the "canned food" inside, the antennae on its head suddenly trembled violently.
It gave up the attack, let out a shrill screech, and turned around, leading all the surrounding insectoid warriors into a black tide that surged toward the same direction.
A similar scene was playing out simultaneously in every corner of the planet.
All the demon clan and insectoid warriors fighting against humans seemed to have received some kind of unified command; they simultaneously abandoned their current enemies and rushed madly toward the canyon where Song Yang was located.
This sudden turn of events left all human units bewildered.
"What's going on? Why are they all running away?"
"Is it a trap? Do they want to lure us over?"
"Command! Command! The targets are showing abnormal movement; please advise!"
Commanders in various war zones made urgent contact, and soon the information was consolidated.
All alien races had the same target—the canyon!
Something earth-shattering must have happened there!
"All units, follow them! Find out what on earth they're trying to do!"
In an instant, the entire planet was in motion.
In the sky and on the ground, countless demon clan, insectoid warriors, and the human units following close behind, like a hundred rivers returning to the sea, marched mightily toward the same destination.
"Interesting."
Song Yang watched this spectacular scene.
"It seems they are all coming for us."
Zeus also noticed something was wrong and scratched his head. "We're surrounded."
"Not surrounded."
Song Yang said coldly, "It's serving themselves up."
He looked up toward the top of the circular space.
"Zeus, fly the ship out."
"Huh?"
Zeus was stunned. "Go out now? But it's full of enemies outside!"
"Since they want to come and die, let's fulfill their wish."
Song Yang explained.
"Got it!"
Upon hearing that he could make a big scene, Zeus immediately became excited.
"Engine systems preheating, preparing for liftoff!"
