234: Chapter 234 I Want Your Woman

In the end, the Shop Owner deflated, his massive head drooping as he made his final decision in a tone that was almost tragic:

"Fine! One million it is! Consider us friends today! Esteemed sir, please come this way!"

He led the two of them to the deepest part of the shop and pressed a spot on an inconspicuous wall.

The wall slid open silently, revealing a more spacious secret room.

In the center of the secret room floated a massive holographic projection, with countless points of light flickering within it, like a miniature galaxy.

"These are all the stellar models our company currently has,"

The Shop Owner regained his professional demeanor and gestured to the light screen as he introduced them: "'Red Dwarf' series, short lifespan, high light and heat efficiency; 'Pulsar' series, extremely high energy output, but unstable, suitable for weapon energy; and the 'White Dwarf' series, small volume, pure energy, but does not emit light."

He waved his large hand, and dozens of stellar models were individually magnified, with dense data marked beside them.

Song Yang's gaze swept over the models, and finally, his eyes settled on an inconspicuous, tiny point of light.

It looked dim and lackluster, like a candle flame ready to go out at any moment amidst the many brilliant stellar models.

"This one." He pointed at that point of light.

The Shop Owner was stunned for a moment before pulling up the data: "Sir, are you sure? This is the 'Glimmer' series, our smallest model. Its energy output is only one ten-thousandth of a standard sun; for a complete planet, it might not be enough."

"It's enough." Song Yang knew very well that for a planet the size of Earth, this amount of sunlight was more than sufficient.

"Alright, then this one it is!" Seeing that he had made up his mind, the Shop Owner immediately and readily began operating the terminal: "Please provide the coordinates of your home galaxy. Our construction fleet will arrive at the designated location within a week to begin gravity anchoring and orbital calibration. We guarantee that your home will be bathed in light and heat once again."

With the deal finalized, the Shop Owner's tragic expression instantly vanished, replaced by enthusiasm.

While skillfully operating the terminal, he muttered: "Sir, rest assured, we are professionals! We guarantee everything will be handled perfectly for you!"

Once finished, Song Yang and Liliya turned to leave, but the Shop Owner followed them, rubbing his four hands together rapidly, his face full of a mysterious smile.

"Esteemed sir, miss, please wait!"

He blocked their path, his shrewd eyes darting around Song Yang, and his nose twitched exaggeratedly, as if sniffing for something.

"Pardon my presumption," he lowered his voice and said mysteriously, "I smell a very pure aura of a Plant Lifeform on you. Your homeland must have quite a few special plants, right?"

Song Yang remained expressionless, but his heart stirred.

Seeing that he did not refute it, the Shop Owner immediately knew he had guessed correctly and, as if presenting a treasure, dragged a half-man-high metal barrel out from the corner.

The barrel was rusted, looking like junk picked up from some scrapyard.

He pried open the lid, and a rich scent mixed with grass and soil rushed out.

The barrel was filled with a thick, dark green liquid, with tiny bubbles rising to the surface.

"This is good stuff!" The Shop Owner scooped up a handful with one hand; the liquid slid through his fingers, appearing exceptionally viscous.

"This liquid is specifically for catalyzing plant evolution! One drop can make a blade of grass grow into a towering tree, and it can also stimulate their potential to produce all sorts of wondrous mutations! For example, bearing fruits that restore stamina, or developing aggressive vines, and so on."

"Sir, you are a man who does big things. This stuff is very cheap! One kilogram only costs ten star coins!"

Ten star coins—compared to the one million for the star earlier, it was practically like giving it away for free.

"This," Song Yang finally spoke, "I want ten tons."

"Ten tons?" The Shop Owner's eyes widened, as if he had heard something fantastical.

He counted on the fingers of his four hands for a long time before confirming he hadn't misheard. Ten star coins per kilogram, ten tons is ten thousand kilograms, for a total price of one hundred thousand star coins!

The depression and heartache from being haggled down by Liliya just now were swept away, and immense joy surged into his heart.

The wrinkles on the Shop Owner's face bloomed like a chrysanthemum, and his four hands clapped together in excitement.

"Good! Good! Sir is truly a straightforward person!" He operated the terminal almost dancing with joy, "One hundred thousand star coins, and I'll throw in a super-large capacity storage tank for you, guaranteed to be secure! I'll arrange for pickup immediately!"

This deal, it was a huge profit!

Soon, a shop assistant brought over a bracelet. Song Yang scanned the interior space of the bracelet with his spiritual power; the ten tons of dark green stock solution and the included giant storage tank were lying securely inside, not a single bit missing.

Just as they walked out of the shop, three dark figures silently blocked their path, like three walls that had appeared out of thin air.

They were all shrouded in wide black cloaks, their faces obscured, and one could only sense an ill-intentioned aura that made several passersby subconsciously steer clear.

Liliya's steps faltered, her snow-white brows knitting slightly, and her body leaned closer to Song Yang subconsciously.

"Don't be nervous, friends." As he spoke, the leader ripped off the hood covering his head.

It was a face covered in cyan scales. All three were burly beastmen, with knotted muscles on their exposed arms and brown long hair poking out from the edges of their robes.

"What a handsome Elven-type; in Black Flag Starport, this is a rare commodity."

One beastman licked his cracked lips, his vertical pupils filled with greed. He completely ignored Song Yang and whistled directly at Liliya, his words flippant.

The beastman beside him let out a low, approving grunt, his eyes constantly rolling, as if evaluating the quality of a piece of merchandise.

A layer of frost appeared on Liliya's snow-white cheeks, and she turned her head away in disgust, too lazy to even respond with a single word.

The scaly-faced guy wasn't annoyed; he finally turned his gaze toward Song Yang. "Kid, name your price."

He gestured toward Liliya with his chin. "We brothers want the woman beside you. Name a price, and let's save us all some trouble."

His tone was matter-of-fact, as if buying and selling a living person was as normal as buying a fast-food meal on the side of the road.

"She is not merchandise." Song Yang spoke.

"Ha!" The scaly-faced one acted as if he had heard some huge joke, laughing exaggeratedly. "Not merchandise? Kid, which civilization's nursery did you just run out of? In this place, everything has a price tag; the only difference is whether you have the ability to keep it!"

He took a step forward, and an aura mixed with blood and rot rushed toward them.

"I'll give you one last chance," his voice dropped, carrying undisguised threats. "Name a price, take the star coins, and get lost. Otherwise, we don't mind making you, along with your money, disappear from this world."

The remaining beastmen coordinated and stepped forward, their massive shadows completely engulfing Song Yang and Liliya, their fists cracking as they clenched them, as if loosening their muscles. The atmosphere was tense and ready to explode.
