74: Chapter 74 The Uninvited Guest
Zhang Yu's breathing became somewhat hurried. The masculine scent emanating from Song Yang filled her nostrils, blanking her mind, leaving her only able to respond instinctively.
She had never experienced anything like this. Everything was unfamiliar to her, causing her to sink into it involuntarily.
Gradually, Zhang Yu's tense body began to slowly relax. She was no longer just passively enduring but started to respond with a raw, unskilled eagerness.
Her arms, which had merely been clutching Song Yang, now gently encircled his neck.
Song Yang could sense the change in her. He slightly increased the intensity of his kiss, making it grow more lingering.
The entanglement of their lips and tongues carried a hint of inexperience, yet also a sense of reckless abandon.
Zhang Yu felt her body growing softer and softer, as if melting into a pool of spring water, completely clinging to Song Yang.
Her consciousness gradually blurred, leaving only the most primal instincts driving her to seek and to feel.
Song Yang's kiss, with an irresistible tenderness, slowly eroded her last vestiges of restraint and defenses.
The young girl's guard gradually lowered as she began to accept the man before her with her whole heart and soul.
She tightened her arms around Song Yang's neck, as if trying to meld herself into his body, seeking an ultimate sense of security.
After what felt like an eternity, when their lips finally parted, Zhang Yu's cheeks were flushed a deep crimson, almost as if they could drip blood, and her breathing was rapid and feverish.
She panted slightly, her dazed eyes looking at Song Yang, carrying a hint of the shyness and dependence that comes with a first taste of forbidden fruit.
Suddenly, as if having made a certain resolution or driven by a sudden impulse, she turned her head and gently bit his shoulder.
The bite was light, carrying a faint sting of pain, more like a kitten's mark, proclaiming a sense of belonging.
Song Yang's body stiffened for a moment before relaxing. He looked down at the hazy eyes of the young girl in his arms, his heart softening.
He could feel her unreserved trust and surrender in this moment.
This girl was prepared to give everything.
The night grew deeper.
The outside world was silent. Only the sound of their gradually intertwining breaths within the room, and the sentiment quietly intensifying in the darkness, signaled the extraordinariness of this night.
...
The next day, outside the estate, several modified vehicles sat with many people inside.
Brother Hu, hunched over, carefully used his remaining left hand to light a cigarette for a short, stout man in the passenger seat.
The man appeared to be in his early forties, his head gleaming with oil, layers of fat piled on his neck.
"Dragon Brother, rest assured, Song Yang definitely lives inside this estate! No mistake!"
Brother Hu wore an ingratiating smile, showing extreme deference to the man before him.
The short, stout man addressed as Dragon Brother gazed through the car window, scrutinizing the estate not far away.
After a long pause, Dragon Brother slowly spoke, "Let me confirm with you one more time. Does that Song fellow really have the explosives I need?"
"Absolutely true, Dragon Brother!"
Brother Hu hurriedly patted his chest, not daring to let his smile fade in the slightest.
"He's the one who stole the explosives I worked so hard to get my hands on! That batch is enough to blow a regular safehouse sky-high!"
Hearing this, Dragon Brother extinguished his cigarette butt in the car's ashtray and said unhurriedly:
"You know I'm planning something big recently and urgently need them. If you dare feed me false information..."
He paused, his gaze coldly sweeping over Brother Hu's empty sleeve, "I wouldn't mind having your other hand chopped off too."
Brother Hu shuddered violently, the color draining from his face.
"Dragon Brother, even if you gave me a hundred times the courage, I wouldn't dare lie to you! If I speak even half a lie, may I be eaten alive by wild dogs, not even my bones left!"
He swore and vowed, terrified that Dragon Brother wouldn't believe him.
The man stared at him for a few seconds. Seeing he didn't seem to be lying, he finally nodded in satisfaction, the fleshy folds on his face relaxing slightly:
"I figured you wouldn't dare. Since that kid has managed to survive till now and lives in an estate, he's probably no pushover either."
"Dragon Brother is absolutely right."
Brother Hu quickly agreed, "That kid is a bit odd, but no matter how capable he is, can he match you, Dragon Brother? With so many brothers under your command, dealing with him should be a piece of cake."
The corner of Dragon Brother's mouth lifted, clearly pleased by Brother Hu's flattery.
He glanced at several fierce-looking subordinates in the back seat,
"Hmph, in this territory, not many dare to disrespect me, Ye Tianlong. We'll go in shortly to meet that Song fellow."
...
Inside the Villa, Song Yang opened his eyes. Beside him, Zhang Yu was still sleeping soundly.
Song Yang carefully moved the arm draped over his chest and quietly got out of bed.
Downstairs in the dining room, the aroma of food had long since filled the air.
Zhang Xinmei, wearing a silk robe that accentuated her mature, voluptuous curves, was plating the last fried egg.
Hearing movement, she turned her head. Seeing Song Yang, a meaningful smile appeared on her face:
"Awake? I thought you youngsters would sleep until noon."
On the dining table were golden fried eggs, slightly toasted bread, and two steaming glasses of milk.
"Morning."
Zhang Xinmei placed a glass of milk in front of him and asked pointedly:
"What's going on? Our Xiaoyu isn't up yet? What did you do to her last night?"
Song Yang rubbed his nose and gave a slight, dry cough:
"She was a bit tired last night. Let her sleep a little longer."
"Oh? Tired?"
Zhang Xinmei drew out the word, then shot him a coquettish glance:
"I must say, you... Xiaoyu is still a child, delicate. You should take it easy, don't be too rough."
"If you really have boundless energy, you can use it on me. I don't mind being worn out."
As they were talking, they suddenly heard knocking.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
As the knocking grew louder, Bai Jie and Xiao Xue also emerged from their respective rooms.
"What's happening? What's that noise outside?"
Zhang Xinmei walked to the living room control panel and skillfully activated the Villa's surveillance system.
On the screen, over a dozen people were standing in front of the Villa door.
Leading them were none other than Song Yang's old acquaintance—Brother Hu—and a short, stout man.
Behind them, the dozen or so men all wore menacing expressions, holding various power tools.
Electric drills, cutters, impact hammers, and even a humming portable gasoline generator.
On the surveillance feed, Brother Hu's twisted face leaned close to the lens, one hand pounding on the heavy security door.
"Song! I know you're in there! Stop hiding!"
Brother Hu yelled at the top of his lungs, "Dragon Brother is here this time! Be smart and open the door now, and we might spare your life!"
"Don't think hiding in your safehouse will save you! We brought the real deal this time! Special cutters for your damn door! Waste our time, and once this door opens, you'll regret it!"
In the living room, Zhang Xinmei, Bai Jie, and Xiao Xue stared at the screen, extremely tense.
Outside, seeing no response from inside, Ye Tianlong waved his hand impatiently.
"Enough talk. Get to work."
His lackeys behind him immediately stepped forward at his command.
Cutting saws, electric drills, impact hammers—all were brought to bear on the door.
