19: Chapter 19 Chen Mo's Sacrifice, Li Pu's Fury.

Seeing that the enemies had been eliminated, the Justiciar collapsed as if he had lost all his strength. In the final moment before his consciousness faded, he murmured, "For the Emperor, for humanity, slay all enemies of the Emperor..."

"Old Li, look out!"

Chen Mo shoved Li Pu aside, and an artillery shell slammed squarely into his Ceramite armor. The impact sent Chen Mo flying into a wall, blood flowing incessantly.

"Old Chen!"

Li Pu glared with fury at the Chaos Astartes who had fired the armor-piercing shell. He raised the Storm Bolter on his left arm and fired wildly, forcing the enemy to keep their head down as he slowly closed in. Consumed by rage, he failed to notice a cultist covered in explosives rushing forward to grab onto his power pack.

"Damn it, no!"

Li Pu began to struggle, but at that exact moment, that Chaos Astartes just had to start shooting at him. As the saying goes, when it rains, it pours; a bullet from the Chaos Astartes struck the explosives on the Chaos cultist, blowing up Li Pu's power pack. The sudden weight shift caught Li Pu completely off guard.

"This is bad!"

The viewers in the livestream couldn't help but break into a cold sweat for Li Pu.

"Streamer, keep going!"

"Yeah, yeah, you can do it, streamer!"

"Brother Li, did you forget? You said the protagonist always makes their entrance at the very end, so don't give up!"

Li Pu looked at the comments in the livestream, and his resolve gradually hardened. Enduring the intense pain, he ducked into cover, reloaded the Storm Bolter on his left arm, and checked his power sword. Finding his helmet a bit of a hindrance, he simply cast it aside. Taking a deep breath, he surveyed his surroundings and noticed some debris hanging precariously over the enemy's head. An idea immediately formed in Li Pu's mind.

He began shooting at the unstable debris above the enemy, burying them under the ruins. Li Pu gathered the krak grenades from Old Chen's body, took a moment to steady himself, and threw them all at once. Explosions erupted one after another, kicking up clouds of smoke.

"Is it over?"

"Bro, did you forget the 'No Damage in Smoke' rule?"

"Seems like that's the case, huh."

Li Pu watched the smoke warily as a figure much taller than himself gradually emerged. The figure discarded their Bolter, drew a power sword from their waist, and pointed the tip directly at Li Pu.

"Is he challenging the streamer to a duel?"

"Brother Li, don't fall for it! Just blast him with the Bolter!"

Seeing this, Li Pu drew his power sword with a snap, its disruption field emitting a high-pitched hiss. The two charged at each other almost simultaneously.

"Is Brother Li going to use brute force for his swings?"

"No, look closely! Brother Li is using the opponent's momentum against them; the power of each counter-slash is increasing exponentially!"

The Chaos Astartes looked at Li Pu, filled with wariness. Seeing the opponent take the initiative to back off and stop attacking, Li Pu also eased his force and watched him vigilantly.

"What is your name?"

"Li Pu!"

"The False Emperor deceived us; he deceived everyone."

"What does that have to do with me?"

"Join Chaos, join us, and together we shall overthrow the False Emperor."

"No!"

"Why?"

"I don't know who the False Emperor is or what Chaos is, but I do know that you killed my brother."

The Chaos Astartes hadn't expected such a response and fell silent for a brief moment. In that instant, Li Pu suddenly lunged, catching the opponent off guard and leaving a prominent gash on his power armor. Seeing things were going poorly, the Chaos Astartes immediately turned and fled.

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining a Leman Russ Tank STC template."

"System, I just want to ask, what use do I have for this?"

"Ding, the host can produce the Leman Russ Tank."

"No, I mean what's the point of me producing this! There's no shortage of equipment in the world right now that's weaker than a Leman Russ Tank!"

"The host can produce Leman Russ Tanks and teleport the finished tanks into the host avatar's storage space."

"Then wouldn't it be better if I just packaged up USA's entire arsenal?"

"Ding, the system asks the host: Do you know where USA's arsenal is? Do you have the strength to infiltrate the arsenal without being detected? Do you have the strength to ensure USA won't find out afterward and won't come after you?"

Li Pu was left speechless by the questions. Suddenly, a flash of inspiration hit him: "Wait! I can strip the secondary cannons and turn them over to the state! How am I so smart? As expected of me!"

But that raised another problem: if he handed them over, how would he explain it to the state? He couldn't exactly say he developed them himself, right? Moreover, the system said that through game recruitment, Leman Russ Tanks would definitely appear in warhammer 40k. What should he do? What should he do?

If he handed them over to the state, the state could help him, which would also help the version of himself in the warhammer 40k universe. The key was that after handing them over, there would definitely be a period of confidentiality. If Leman Russ Tanks appeared in the game during that period, he wouldn't be able to clear his name even if he jumped into the Yellow River.

"System, can't you give me a starship or something? Give me a few hundred crew members and 100 Tech-Priests, and I could turn this whole situation around for you."

The system remained silent.

On the other side, Li Pu chased the Chaos Astartes to a door.

"You are very good. I originally didn't want to let him out; after all, he's like a mad dog that can't tell friend from foe."

As soon as he finished speaking, he entered the code to open the iron door and quickly ran to the side. Low growls echoed from behind the door as a World Eater immediately charged out, catching Li Pu off guard with the collision. If Li Pu's fighting style was about using momentum, then this World Eater was all about a head-on rampage.

The World Eater swung his Chainsword relentlessly while Li Pu dodged continuously, having to also stay wary of the Chaos Astartes' Bolter fire. His body seemed to have reached its limit. In that instant, he was knocked to the ground, his consciousness blurring as if he were truly about to die.

"Streamer, keep going! You can't just fall like this."

"That's right, Brother Li, stand up for us!"

"Stand up!"

"Stand up!"

"No! I can't just fall like this!"

He activated the adrenaline within his armor, injecting it into his body. Just as the World Eater was about to deliver the final blow, he dodged it, then raised his left hand, aiming the last bullet in his magazine at the ship's fuel depot.

"No, stop him!"

It was too late!

Li Pu grinned and fired a bolt. The entire warehouse exploded violently in an instant. Li Pu felt only a tearing pain throughout his body. The intense heat seemed ready to completely consume his consciousness.

After a long time, a flash of white light suddenly crossed the pitch-black screen—Game Over.
