33: Chapter 33 Chen Mo's shining moment.

The players were furious with Adal. The front line had already collapsed, and further defense was futile, yet this Commander still ordered them to throw their lives away.

The players were quite indignant; after all, they had just retreated from the front line, and this was the attitude the Commander had towards them.

"Whoosh—boom!" At that moment, enemy artillery fire struck, breaking the tension-filled atmosphere, and the players were somewhat flustered.

Just then, Li Pu stood on high ground, drawing the attention of both the players and Adal.

"Commander, give us another chance! We are not cowards!"

His eyes burned like torches as he looked at Lao Chen and the players: "Brothers, take up our weapons, charge at the enemy, and fight them to the death!"

At this moment, the chat stream was filled with question marks: "Wait, is the streamer so immersed in his own roleplay that he can't pull himself out?"

The players were dumbfounded, and before long, they began whispering among themselves.

"Has Brother Li gone mad?"

"He must be lost in his own world."

"Forget it, brothers! I don't care about the fatigue levels anymore, I'm turning it all off! I'm going to fight them to the death!"

"Exactly, let's fight them to the death!"

All the players spontaneously checked and readied the weapons in their hands.

The players, who had just been in a state of rout, now launched this doomed charge in the opposite direction in perfect unison.

On the battlefield, the enemy's artillery fire was incredibly fierce. Many players were blown away before they could even get close to the enemy's positions. Yet, for every player that fell, another followed. They used the corpses of their comrades to reach the enemy and began hand-to-hand combat, miraculously showing signs of overwhelming the enemy.

However, this advantage vanished instantly once the enemy's "Hellhound" flame tanks arrived on the battlefield.

Li Pu and Chen Mo stood back-to-back as they always did, entrusting their backs to one another. They fired continuously, and rebels died under their guns at every moment, but correspondingly, their ammunition was also running low.

"Lao Li, let's see who can kill more enemies, how about it?"

"That's exactly what I was thinking!"

The two of them picked up their entrenching tools almost simultaneously, brandishing them as they charged toward the rebels, eventually falling under enemy fire, their remains burned to charcoal.

Later, people only knew that the brave Colonel had been targeted by the detestable rebels who brought in a "Hellhound" flame tank, burning him and the command staff to death.

The players only felt a flash of white light before they reappeared in the game lobby.

Chen Mo wanted to say something to Li Pu, but he found himself enveloped in white light, and the next second, he appeared on the battlefield again.

A system prompt appeared at this moment: "To buy time for the main force to evacuate, the remaining soldiers of the 7th Tank Regiment and the 19th Regiment have formed the 'Death Riders,' who will dedicate their lives to the Emperor in this final battle."

Chen Mo was a little nervous. After all, he had always envied Li Pu for being able to make a name for himself in a single battle, but when it was truly his turn, he still felt unsure, not knowing if he could do a good job.

He couldn't even find anyone to share his nervousness with, because the only response he received was the silence of the Krieg "Death Riders."

"Silence... silence... what a terrible name!" Chen Mo couldn't help but mentally slap himself, "This name is just too unlucky!"

But he didn't have time to dwell on it; the "Death Riders" had already begun their charge.

They faced an enemy force several times their size, yet not a single person retreated in the face of battle.

After one charge, Chen Mo discovered in despair that he was the only one left of the entire "Death Riders."

At this moment, the setting sun on the horizon seemed to be telling of his desolate situation.

He took a deep breath, recalling a phrase spoken by the Grey Knights Commander during the space boarding action, and couldn't help but recite it out loud: "For the Emperor!"

Subsequently, he launched his final charge toward the enemy, ultimately falling under the dense artillery fire.
