46: Chapter 46 The Battle of the Shield of Hades (Part 4) - Louis Dante

Waaaah! This is fucking miserable.

"Brother Kun, we don't envy you anymore. According to what they said, you'll probably be treated like a lab rat and studied endlessly, or maybe even like a donkey on a production team that never finishes its work."

Hearing this, Ye Kun instinctively shrank his neck.

"Brothers, help me! Someone, save me!"

Ye Kun started frantically sending messages to the players.

"Brother Kun, you're on your own."

"That's right, that's right, you're on your own."

"You bunch of disloyal jerks, I'm going to xxxxx!"

Suddenly, that strangely behaving Genestealer Patriarch appeared in front of the squad.

"Damn it! He actually followed us!"

Subsequently, Captain Calaran's squad began to fight against the Tyranid Swarm led by this despicable Genestealer Patriarch.

"Brothers, it's over. He's coming for me!"

"Brother Kun, what are you afraid of? With so many superhuman Space Marines protecting you, you should be happy."

"No, brothers, didn't I just complain on the barrage that it was 'too comfortable'? Is it really worth holding a grudge until now?"

The barrage was filled with a unanimous "Yes, it is."

"Brothers, I was wrong. Look, is any of our brothers nearby? Save me!"

"I'll do it. Old Chen and I happen to be here. But we can't guarantee you'll survive, though."

"We'll conduct an orbital strike and try our best not to let their follow-up forces threaten you."

"Is it accurate?"

"It's accurate!"

"What if it's not accurate?"

"That's not something you need to worry about."

Shortly after, just as Captain Calaran was locked in a bitter battle, Li Hu, from orbit, directed everyone to begin an orbital strike while taking care not to aim the cannons at Ye Kun and the others.

The strike cut off the Tyranid Swarm, buying Ye Kun and the others a moment of respite.

The Genestealer Patriarch also took advantage of the chaos to flee back into the ruins.

Meanwhile, the Thunderhawk Gunship sent by Commander Dante successfully landed.

"Goodbye, Brother Kun, we'll miss you."

"Screw you! I'm not going to my death!"

Under continuous orbital bombardment, Captain Calaran and the others, along with Ye Kun, successfully returned to the fleet where Commander Dante was located.

"Brothers, if I die, don't forget to burn some incense for me next year."

Ye Kun posted his final words on the barrage before being taken away by the Apothecaries, looking as if he were going to his death.

At this moment, the warship belonging to Li Hu and the others received a communication request from Commander Dante.

After connecting, appearing in the center of the screen was a warrior wearing a golden mask, exuding a noble and elegant aura, and clad in ornate golden armor.

"I am Commander Dante. Thank you, Imperial Navy, for the assistance provided to our Blood Angels."

At this moment, an introduction for Commander Dante appeared: Luis Dante, a legendary Commander within the Blood Angels Chapter.

Dante was born in 447.M40 and became a Blood Angel around 458.M40.

He was promoted to Sergeant in 40753, took over as Captain in 40753, and became the Chapter Master of the Blood Angels Chapter after the Karius Rebellion between 40900-40999.

He has been fighting for 1500 years and is the longest-serving Space Marine in the Empire (excluding those who have entered a dreadnought).

"Holy crap, brothers, he's such a legend!"

"Listening to that voice, it sounds old yet powerful. I can tell just by hearing it that he's an old timer."

However, endless years of fighting had already made him feel weary.

He so desperately wished to die in battle against the xenos.

Were it not for the prophecy contained in the scroll left behind by his gene-father, Sanguinius, he might have already died on the battlefield fighting the xenos.
