2: Chapter 2: The First Warhammer Animation
A mass of filth-like substances suddenly surged from the end of the corridor.
The Tin Cans began firing; the screeching of Bolter shells tore through the sky, exploding in the distance.
"Brothers, my god! Is this even a gun? I feel like it's an RPG rocket launcher!"
"Brother, no need to doubt it; it certainly looks like one."
"And what is that? It's so disgusting."
"Exactly! What is the author thinking? Wasn't it supposed to be space anti-war? Shouldn't there be some love stories?"
The promotional video came to an abrupt halt.
"What the hell? Such a cliffhanger! Author, you XX cliffhanger-baiting bastard, go to hell!"
The host then said, "It seems the contestants have finished the openings of their games. Let's look forward to what eye-opening content they will create next!"
Inside the holographic pod.
"Tremble, natives." Yang Gao continuously operated within the holographic pod. "With the firepower of warhammer 40k, it's time for this Blue Star, which has never experienced true war, to feel what Gothic despair is."
After several hours of effort, the scenes and characters Yang Gao wanted were all set up.
"Viewers, several hours have passed. Let's see the results of our contestants. First, let's look at the final creation of Contestant No. 1."
"What the hell? Becoming a deserter for the sake of family—is he even a man?"
"I think it's pretty good; he survived for his family."
"Bullshit! A real man should stand on the battlefield!"
Warning: Profanity is prohibited in the bullet chat. This is a one-time warning; further violations will result in a 14-day ban.
"Hey guys, take a look at No. 2."
"What is this? Massacring all living beings for the sake of love?"
"What? 'If you die, I will make the whole world be buried with you'?"
...
"Brothers, I seriously suspect I didn't survive 2012. Otherwise, how could I be seeing such cursed stuff in broad daylight?"
"Guys, let's just watch No. 3."
"What's going on? Brothers, my screen went black."
"Mine too."
Suddenly, a rising and falling voice came from the dark screen: "Cadia Stands! Cadia Stands! Cadia Stands!"
"Brothers, why does hearing this make my scalp tingle?"
"Brother, tell me about it, me too."
The dark screen lit up.
A civilian shuttled through the trenches, surrounded by soldiers in sophisticated gear.
"Brothers, those are laser guns, right? So cool!"
"Tch, what's there to see? Not as good as the first two."
"No one's forcing you to watch if you don't want to," someone immediately snapped back.
The camera shifted. An officer stood with his back to a soldier who was reporting on the battlefield situation. Suddenly, spore-like objects appeared floating behind the soldier, then violently exploded, turning the soldier into a mist of blood on the spot.
"My god, brothers, that's way too bloody."
"Isn't it?"
"This author's game might just become a massive hit."
"Yeah, yeah, we'll be the original shareholders."
The Commander brushed the blood mist off his shoulder.
"Brothers, he's so calm!"
"It must be that years of constant warfare have long since made him numb."
The civilian approached the Commander and handed him the intelligence. The Commander glanced at it and then handed another piece of intelligence to the civilian.
"The Tyranids are truly becoming more and more ferocious."
"Sergeant."
"He's in your hands. Get him to the Command Post safely."
