6: Chapter 6, Phase Two – The Battle for Fort A-453.

Hearing this, the players, including Li Pu and Chen Mo, were all stunned.

At this moment, the bullet chat in the livestream was also in a state of shock.

"Is death a mercy?"

"I wonder what the background story of this world is? It feels so hopeless."

"I wonder if Brother Gao will tell us the full background story in a month."

"Probably not, right? After all, keeping it mysterious increases the hype."

A screen appeared before all players: Siege of Vraks. The first trench saw 80,000 Krieg Soldiers lost; with player participation, the loss was 200,000.

Evaluation: Good.

"Brothers, if I'm not mistaken, Krieg would have lost 80,000 men taking the first trench without us, but with our participation, the loss was 200,000?"

A silence fell over the scene.

The game was about to enter the second phase — The Battle for Fort A-453.

The system began selecting players for a raid operation.

Li Pu was luckily selected.

"Why? Why did you get chosen, Old Li?"

Chen Mo was now completely filled with envy and jealousy; if he could stream this, how many followers would he gain?

"The streamer is jealous, hahaha."

Meanwhile, Chen Mo's livestream was filled with the sounds of schadenfreude.

Yang Gao had originally intended to relax by scrolling through videos, only to find that most streamers across the internet were playing warhammer 40k. Excited, Yang Gao clicked on a stream, preparing to prank the streamers.

So, he secretly halved the players' ammunition count.

"Players, tremble!"

Players participating in the Battle for Fort A-453 suddenly received a system notification: Due to intense combat, ammunition transport is delayed; ammo count has been halved.

"Brothers, this game is really trying to kill us."

"You're telling me. I was stupid enough to set the pain level to 'Realistic'."

"It hurts like hell."

"No way, I need to adjust it. I'm switching to 'Painless'."

Many players switched to painless mode, but a few stubborn ones refused to change it.

The Political Commissar blew his whistle, and the Krieg Soldiers began their death charge.

They soon reached the barbed wire, picking up cutters to start snipping through it.

Captain Tapok and his adjutant quickly charged into the Anti-tank trench. Seeing this, Li Pu immediately followed suit and charged over, nearly getting riddled with bullets.

"My god, that was close."

The bullet chat was now spamming wildly:

"Streamer's 'Old Six' movement."

"666, as expected of the streamer."

"Streamer, show us another move!"

"Brothers, stop joking. The streamer almost got turned into a sieve. I set my pain level to 'Normal'; if I got riddled with bullets, would I even survive?"

The bullet chat showed no sign of slowing down:

"Streamer, charge!"

"Don't be afraid, streamer. We support you in spirit."

"Exactly, don't be afraid. Charge!"

Li Pu groaned inwardly.

Who knew he'd been so stupid earlier as to set the pain level to 'Realistic'.

He had thought things wouldn't be so intense later on, but who knew it would get even worse.

Help! Is it too late for him to regret it now?

Just then, Captain Tapok led the final charge.

Inspired, the Krieg Soldiers charged recklessly as if they had been injected with adrenaline.

"Brothers, I feel like after this battle, I'll need to go lie in the ICU."

"Go ahead, streamer. We'll miss you."

Some in the livestream were even spamming the 'Panda Burning Incense' image.

"Are you guys trying to see the streamer off early?"

"I wonder if I'll get to attend the streamer's funeral banquet in my lifetime?"

Krieg Soldiers continued to fall on the battlefield. They entered a minefield, and countless explosions rang out, leaving behind a sea of corpses and blood...
