202: Chapter 202 Red and White Clash

Chen Mo lifted the red curtain and boarded the bridal sedan.

"Lift the sedan!——" came a shout.

Chen Mo felt his body being lifted, and the sound of gongs and drums started up again.

Swaying and rocking, it headed towards the Su Family mansion.

Watching his precious son successfully marry into the family, the old man couldn't wait to return to the house.

He reached out to grab those silver ingots, happily playing with them in his palms.

But unexpectedly...

The originally cold and heavy silver ingots felt abnormally light in his hands right now.

They even felt a bit like they were folded from paper.

The old man casually picked up a handful and held it up to the moonlight, his face instantly turning deathly pale.

He saw that what he was holding wasn't silver ingots at all, but a whole pile of paper ingots used for burning for the dead.

Sensing something was wrong, the old man rushed out of the house.

The wedding procession was long, and since only 10 minutes had passed, he should still be able to see the end of the line.

Furthermore, the procession was carrying red lanterns, which were particularly conspicuous in the night.

However, when the old man rushed out of the house, the wedding procession seemed to have evaporated into thin air; it was nowhere to be found!

"My son..." the old man knelt before his front door.

Chen Mo silently counted numbers in his heart to keep track of time.

From the moment they left until now, only 10 minutes had passed.

But he heard those things outside the sedan—whether human or ghost—shout.

"We are already halfway there. We will be passing Wudang Mountain ahead, so be extra careful!"

Lifting the curtain of the bridal sedan, Chen Mo poked his head out.

He discovered that his wedding procession was walking along a mountain road.

Suddenly, a very eerie nursery rhyme drifted from afar, along with a gust of grey, sinister wind.

Chen Mo's eyes widened abruptly; his shoulders felt as if they were being grabbed by an invisible hand.

It pressed him firmly onto the seat, and the windows and the small door leading into the bridal sedan were instantly shut.

Chen Mo tried banging on the four walls, but it was completely useless.

"How unlucky, why did we run into a funeral procession?" Aunt's complaining voice came from outside the sedan.

A Red and White Curse Clash? What the hell?!

Are we playing this hard right from the start? I'm still just a regular person who can't use items right now.

Two intersecting mountain roads: on one side was the wedding procession carrying Chen Mo, playing festive music and occasionally scattering flower petals.

On the opposite mountain road was a group of mourners dressed in mourning clothes with white cloths wrapped around their heads.

Sorrowful music for sending a loved one to the afterlife, accompanied by white paper money fluttering in the sky.

One red and one white, facing each other from across the bank, the sorrowful and festive music piercing through each other as the distance closed—it truly had a bizarre sense of beauty.

When the two groups were inches apart.

Chen Mo had assumed this funeral procession would stop or take a detour.

He didn't expect them to just crash straight into them!

That's right! They just crashed into them.

The two groups of people were like transparent beings, passing right through each other.

Chen Mo stared blankly as a coffin passed beneath his crotch and penetrated deep into his bridal sedan.

Then the scene shifted, and he only felt dizzy and disoriented.

After the Red and White Curse Clash, the bridal sedan was already completely empty.

Chen Mo groggily opened his eyes, feeling as if he were pressing down on something.

It was very dark here, with only a few faint beams of light shining in.

Chen Mo put his head to those small holes where the light shone in and looked out, seeing his wedding procession walking further and further away.

And the people standing around him were that group of mourners!

[Main quest updated: Please return to your bridal sedan]

"Damn it! I've been transported into a coffin!"

Chen Mo lifted his leg and kicked the coffin lid hard. "Bang, bang, bang," a few times, but aside from the muffled sounds, it was useless.

Just as he was kicking the coffin to no avail.

A chilling, cold breath blew onto the back of his neck.

Chen Mo couldn't help but shiver, and then, two long, fair arms draped over his shoulders, holding him tightly.

A cold, feminine voice came.

"Husband, I've missed you so much~"

"Can you give me a kiss."

"Hehehe! The man snatched today is a handsome one."

"I just don't know... how is his performance in bed? Can he last for three days and three nights?"

Chen Mo swallowed hard; that number was a nightmare for any man.

Let alone three days and three nights, even if it were just a day, pressing acupuncture points a few extra times...

He wouldn't want to share a bed; he'd be the type to just want to sleep on the sofa.

Chen Mo snapped his fingers and activated the Magician's passive skill—Fire Walk!

His body instantly transformed into brilliant fireworks, just before the woman with half her face rotten, who was puckering her lips, was about to bite his lips.

Chen Mo flashed back into his bridal sedan.

Leaning on the window frame, he saw the coffin walking in the distance, its lid suddenly flipped open by a great force.

A female ghost flew out from inside, dressed in white, arms stretched straight forward, with a green face and fangs, wanting to choke Chen Mo.

The opponent's flying speed was very fast, and in the blink of an eye, she was clinging to the outside of the bridal sedan.

She grabbed Chen Mo's neck and pulled hard, wanting to drag Chen Mo away.

"Who dares to touch our son-in-law?" Aunt's unique, complaining voice came.

Immediately, Chen Mo saw Aunt take a bronze bell out of her pocket.

Holding it in her hand, she shook it violently, "Jingle, jingle."

The female ghost, who had been rushing over, seemed to hear a piercing siren and felt as if her head was splitting.

Clutching her head, she shrieked loudly there.

"Ah!——"

In a flash, she fled back into the coffin, and the funeral procession walked further and further away.

The female ghost now only dared to open a crack in the coffin, her resentful eyes staring fixedly at Chen Mo's figure.

Revealing an expression of regret, as if the meat that had reached her mouth had slipped away.

"Aunt is a Taoist priest?"

Chen Mo looked at Aunt's back as she walked in front.

If Aunt was a Taoist priest, then this Su Family should be a respectable household.

"No..." Chen Mo stroked his chin.

As a mystery enthusiast who had watched countless films, Chen Mo knew.

Some Taoist priests practiced unorthodox arts, which were actually even more sinister and cruel than ghosts.

Chen Mo blinked and looked at Aunt carefully again.

He didn't know if it was a hallucination or reality.

Just a moment ago, Chen Mo seemed to see...

From under Aunt's loose clothing, a fluffy tail seemed to poke out, a fat tail just like a foxtail weed.

Looking closely, that tail slipped back under the loose clothing.

"Could it be a fox spirit? Is Aunt a fox spirit?" Chen Mo felt his whole body go cold.

Why are all the creatures in this middle-grid dungeon wanting to sleep with men?

If I had known earlier... I should have just let Lu Chengfeng come to this dungeon for training.

No.

Chen Mo continued to stare, and he saw a fox head suddenly poke out from the hem of Aunt's loose clothing, blinking its big, watery eyes as it made eye contact with Chen Mo.

This little fox was very spirited and looked quite cute.

The little fox twisted its neck, then ran out from under Aunt's clothes, heading along the cliff, and vanished in a flash.
