193: The sword domain locks the god, and destiny comes!

Sky Peak’s smile was as warm and gentle as jade, completely devoid of any awareness that he was in enemy territory.

He waved his hand lightly.

The passage behind him dissolved into nothingness, and the ground and rocks beneath their feet also transformed.

In an instant, the area became an elegantly furnished courtyard, shrouded in mist.

“Lord Su is joking.”

Sky Peak made a welcoming gesture, as if this truly were his place for receiving guests.

“Time is the cheapest cost and also the most precious gift. In Cloud City, I merely invited you to watch a slightly long play.”

“If you like it, I wouldn’t mind constructing an even more splendid dream for you, where you could rule as king. Wouldn’t that be delightful?”

As he spoke, ripples spread through the space around him.

Invisible folds and displacements stretched the distance between him and Su Jin infinitely, only for it to return to normal the next instant.

This fully demonstrated his astonishing control over the laws of space.

“Your dream is too boring,” Su Jin said.

“I still prefer the reality I forged with my own hands.”

“As for the debt you owe, I feel it’s best to settle it all today, principal and interest included.”

“Stubborn,” Sky Peak shook his head, a hint of regret on his face.

“Since Lord Su doesn’t appreciate my hospitality, I won’t stay long.”

“It seems this chess game in the Southern Territory will have to be replayed.”

As his voice faded, Sky Peak’s figure began to blur, preparing to merge directly into space and depart.

As a top-tier spatial legendary from the Dark Star Empire, a Sixteenth Order Legendary Monarch, Sky Peak had absolute confidence.

In this world, the places that could trap him were few and far between.

However, the space beneath his feet did not open for him as docilely as expected.

The figures of the Ling Shu Sword Guards quietly emerged around the isolated peak. Their souls resonated at the same frequency, and their mind-worlds were interconnected.

An invisible force field descended abruptly.

The physical laws of this world began to twist, and space was forcibly stitched and locked, as if by countless unseen threads.

“Guiyuan Sword Domain,” Su Jin’s voice was calm.

A pale white sword light, like ice from the netherworld, cut out from the void and impaled the last node of the Sword Domain.

Bai Xiao’s figure appeared with it.

He held the Soul Sword, surrounded by the desolate aura of all things withering, becoming the most robust lock core of this spatial cage.

Sky Peak’s ethereal figure was forcibly squeezed out of the spatial rift.

He stumbled a step, the composed expression on his face somewhat frozen.

He looked around, his gaze lingering on Bai Xiao for a moment before returning to Su Jin’s face.

“An interesting domain.”

“Twisting physical laws with soul resonance, then severing ties with the outside world using the power of annihilation. Good methods, good ideas.”

He raised his hand, lightly drawing a line in front of him with his fingertip.

A dark crack appeared in response, but before it could widen, the surrounding chaotic laws surged like a tide, forcibly smoothing it over.

He then attempted a short-distance spatial jump, complex spatial runes appearing on his body.

But as soon as these runes lit up, they were forcibly suppressed and erased by a stronger will within the Sword Domain.

Sky Peak’s smile completely vanished.

He was a practitioner of the Great Dao of Space.

Yet, at this moment, he felt like a fly caught in a spiderweb.

He possessed great power but couldn't break free.

The domain’s blockade of space was somewhat beyond his comprehension.

“It seems I really can’t leave.”

He looked at Su Jin, his eyes becoming sharp and cold.

“I’m very curious, what gave you the confidence to think you could keep me here?”

“Now.”

Su Jin took a step forward, his aura beginning to rise steadily.

Starlight and shadows emerged from the void, intertwining on him to form a phantom robe like an emperor’s regalia.

His pupils transformed into a deep starry sky, as if reflecting the birth and death of the universe.

【Mandate of Heaven】!

“Let me show you the power that can keep you.”

Sky Peak said no more, the aura of a Sixteenth Order Legendary Monarch erupting fully.

He stretched out his hand, clenching it towards Su Jin from a distance.

“Spatial Collapse.”

Where Su Jin stood, the surrounding hundred meters of space suddenly collapsed inward, forming an absolute void singularity.

It aimed to crush him and all matter into the most primordial particles.

Su Jin didn’t even raise his eyelids.

“I declare, the space here is eternal.”

The grand Mandate of Heaven descended.

The furiously collapsing space seemed to have its pause button pressed, stopping abruptly.

Then, under the action of an invisible, mighty force, it was forcibly smoothed out and restored to its original state.

Sky Peak’s pupils constricted.

This was not a clash of power; it was the crushing force of authority.

“Dimensional Exile!”

He formed hand seals, and a rift leading to an unknown dimension opened beneath Su Jin’s feet, intending to drag him into an endless temporal-spatial turbulence.

“I declare, within this realm, there is no exit.”

The dimensional rift trembled violently, yet it could not engulf Su Jin’s figure in the slightest, eventually closing unwillingly.

“How is this possible!” Sky Peak was utterly shaken.

Su Jin took a step, appearing before Sky Peak, and, with fingers like a sword, struck down.

There was no magnificent sword light, only the purest “Mandate of Heaven” authority, declaring the rule of “severance.”

Layers upon layers of space surrounded Sky Peak, constructing tens of thousands of defensive barriers.

But under that one strike, all the spatial barriers were torn apart as easily as paper.

In the critical moment, Sky Peak retreated rapidly.

A spatial blade flew from his sleeve, colliding with Su Jin’s fingertip.

Boom!

A fierce energy shockwave spread outward.

It annihilated and vaporized the entire courtyard, along with the mountain beneath it, turning it into a giant, circular crater.
