35: Thunder breaks the city! Goblin Swordmaster!

"Swift Gallop!" "Thunderous Charge!"

Hooves shattered the earth, and the knights' spear tips crackled with electricity. The entire cavalry unit transformed into a massive lightning bolt, tearing through the night sky, and with an unstoppable momentum, slammed into the newly opened city gate!

Along the charge path, a crackling static field was left behind, instantly paralyzing any Goblin attempting to approach, rendering them unable to move.

"Kill!!!" Huo Jun led the charge, his long spear brandishing, instantly unleashing "Air Vortex Blade." The war spear spun at high speed, forming a terrifying vacuum vortex that instantly engulfed and tore apart the large group of Goblins attempting to block him!

The Azure Lightning Cavalry Guard, like a red-hot iron searing through butter, irresistibly carved through the Goblins' chaotic defenses, plunging straight into the heart of Greystone Keep!

"Shield Guards follow up, stabilize the passage! Halberd Warriors advance on both flanks! Archers, suppress the firepower on the city walls!" Su Jin's voice rang out, clearly reaching every soldier's ear.

The infantry phalanx, already prepared, immediately sprang into action.

"Roar!" Stone Rock roared, instantly activating "Molten Lava Shield." The surface of his massive tower shield erupted in blazing flames. He was the first to charge through the city gate with his shield, followed closely by five hundred Elite Heavy Shield Guards, who quickly formed an unbreakable steel defense line, firmly occupying the city gate passage.

"Shield Bash!" Stone Rock roared again, slamming his massive shield forward, activating "Resonance Shield Strike!"

Buzz—!

A visible shockwave spread forward in a fan shape. Dozens of Goblins, who were attempting to re-close the city gate, were struck as if by an invisible heavy hammer. The sound of their bones shattering crackled, and they screamed as they were sent flying backward.

Subsequently, twenty Elite Mithril Heavy Shields led their respective teams, according to the predetermined plan, heading directly for their designated target points. At the same time, the light of "Sacred Silver Bulwark" spread, enveloping surrounding allies with a halo of energy resistance.

"Kill!" Mu Yang, wielding his long halberd, fully displayed the might of the Thousand-Blade Halberd Warriors. He led five hundred Elite Halberd Warriors, surging out from both sides of the Shield Guard formation. Their halberds, like a forest, gleamed with sharp edges as they swung.

"Sweep Across the Army!" Mu Yang let out a low roar, his long halberd carving a massive cold gleam, sweeping across at waist height. A dozen Goblins in front were instantly cut in half, their flesh and blood splattering.

The Elite Halberd Warriors who followed closely also swung their long halberds, their "Armor-Piercing Halberd Technique" incredibly fierce. Each strike could easily tear through the Goblins' crude leather armor, bringing forth a torrent of blood and gore.

Some Halberd Warriors even violently slammed their halberd blades into the ground!

"Earth Rip Wave!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three earthy-yellow shockwaves advanced along the ground. Wherever they passed, the earth cracked, and the Goblins lost their footing, their formation falling into disarray, to be subsequently harvested by the following Halberd Warriors.

And the Elite Zhenyue Halberd Guard were even more formidable; their attacks were also more powerful.

The city gate passage instantly became a meat grinder. The Goblins' resistance seemed so fragile and inadequate in front of Infinite City's elite soldiers.

At the same time, Zhui Yun led the Elite Strong Bow Soldiers and Elite Riftwind Archers to seize advantageous positions on both sides of the city gate, quickly spreading to the city walls, occupying the high ground, and precisely suppressing the Goblins attempting to counterattack within the city.

"Fire!" Zhui Yun commanded.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—!

A dense volley of arrows flew from their strings, like a dark cloud, instantly enveloping the Goblins who had just re-gathered near the city gate.

The arrows trailed faint cyan streaks, the characteristic of "Cloud Piercing Arrow" displayed to its fullest. The Goblins' armor offered no effective protection whatsoever; the sharp arrowheads easily pierced through, precisely hitting vital points.

Zhui Yun's eyes were as sharp as an eagle's, quickly locking onto a Goblin warrior commanding on the city wall.

"Eagle Eye Lock!"

Buzz! A subtle mental imprint landed on that Goblin warrior.

A cold smile played on Zhui Yun's lips as he drew his longbow three times in quick succession!

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Three arrows, wreathed in faint cyan wind spirals, shot out in a triangular formation, so fast that they left only three afterimages!

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Three muffled thuds rang out almost simultaneously. The Goblin warrior's iron armor was easily pierced as if it were paper. The three arrows struck his glabella, heart, and throat respectively, pinning him firmly to the battlements before he could even let out a scream.

On the battlefield, the Elite Riftwind Archers also demonstrated the terrifying strength of Silver-tier archers. Their "Hurricane Arrow," upon hitting a target, would create a small-range suction vortex, drawing surrounding Goblins into it, causing secondary damage and greatly increasing the efficiency of their clear-out.

As the Goblin resistance at the city gate area was rapidly dismantled, the Elite Halberd Warriors and Elite Strong Bow Soldiers, led by their respective captains, followed closely behind the Shield Guard unit, proceeding along their predetermined routes to various preset key strategic points within the city…

Meanwhile, the Azure Lightning Cavalry Guard led by Huo Jun had already pierced into the heart of Greystone Keep like a sharp dagger. Wherever they passed, Goblin corpses lay strewn across the ground, and faint electric light flickered in the air.

They charged directly towards the western side of Greystone Keep—the large military camp where thousands of Goblins were stationed.

They needed to utterly crush and heavily wound the Goblin army stationed there before it could organize a counterattack!

At the same time, the chaos created by 'Shadow' continued, with flames, explosions, and battle cries rising and falling, completely paralyzing the Goblin command system.

Su Jin stood at the city gate, watching his forces advance in an orderly fashion, a satisfied smile appearing on his face.

"It seems the fall of Greystone Keep is only a matter of time," Su Jin murmured.

.......

In the central, still largely untouched core area of Greystone Keep, a fortress built entirely of massive black rocks stood majestically.

This was the command center of Greystone Keep, and also the residence of the Goblin Kingdom's Northern Warlord—'Sword Saint' Ugluk.

At this moment, a figure stood quietly at the window of the highest room in the fortress.

He wore dark, dull metal armor, covered in scratches of varying depths—medals from countless battles. Unlike the short and wretched appearance of other Goblins, this Goblin, though only as tall as an adult human, had an upright posture, giving him an inexplicably refined air.

The flickering firelight illuminated his sharply defined profile, making it alternately bright and dim. His deep-set crimson eyes, at this moment, did not show the common Goblin's cunning cruelty, but rather a calmness and sharpness utterly unsuited to his race.

He was Ugluk, an eighth-tier expert, renowned throughout the world for his swordsmanship, and bestowed with the title 'Sword Saint' by all.

The shouts of battle, explosions, and agonizing screams from outside clearly reached his ears.

Under the firelight, countless panicked Goblins scurried about like headless flies, attempting to extinguish the flames or futilely organize a counterattack.

Ugluk's expression was calm. He knew well that those lower-tier Goblins had done their best; facing such a swift and precise surprise attack, their reaction could not be considered slow.

The real problem lay with the attackers hidden in the night and chaos… they were like specters, precisely striking at the Goblins' resistance, efficient and deadly.

What a pity… he sighed softly in his heart.

Even the best defense, in the face of absolute power and meticulous planning, was ultimately a bit fragile.

Moreover, the guests had already arrived…
