37: The end! The strongest blow that burns life!

The smoke and dust slowly dissipated, and the former location of the fortress had been completely reduced to ruins.

Broken beams, collapsed walls, and scattered boulders were piled and intertwined, creating a scene like the end of the world.

At the highest point of the ruins, two figures stood facing each other from a distance of more than ten meters.

Ugluk's breastplate had several deep, bone-visible sword marks, with greenish-blue flames still burning at the edges, and wisps of black smoke were trying to extinguish the flames.

His arm, gripping the black greatblade, was bulging with muscle and trembling slightly, clearly indicating a huge expenditure of energy from the previous clash, but his crimson eyes burned with even more fervent battle intent, and a hint of disbelief.

Opposite him, Bai Xiao's azure-blue sword armor glowed faintly, and the previously dense, flickering electric light became sparse; there were faint traces of blood at the corner of his mouth, but he still stood perfectly straight, his sword-holding posture as steady as a rock, and his cold gaze showed no fluctuation.

"Cough... cough..." Ugluk coughed twice, bringing up some bloody foam. "Human... this power of yours... it definitely doesn't belong to this world."

He stared intently at the flowing, colorful azure-blue armor on Bai Xiao. "This kind of power to condense an inner image and materialize the ethereal... what exactly are you?"

Bai Xiao did not answer, but merely raised his sword tip slightly, pointing it at his opponent.

"Ha... haha... Good!" Ugluk suddenly burst into loud laughter, a laughter filled with a nearly insane excitement. "How many years has it been... Since the kingdom was established, I have never personally slain such a powerful alien! Today, let me, Ugluk, use your head to forge my new glory!"

His aura surged again, and a more violent and ominous presence, far exceeding his previous one, exploded forth!

Dark red energy, like solidified flames, gushed out from the gaps in his armor, swirling around his body. The shattered stones beneath his feet began to silently turn to dust.

Bai Xiao's eyes narrowed slightly. He could feel that Ugluk's aura was surging in an abnormal way.

"Burning his life for power, is he...?"

But, what of it?

Bai Xiao slowly raised the longsword in his right hand, its tip pointing diagonally towards the gloomy sky.

The azure-blue flowing flames on the sword body suddenly retracted, but the light became even more dazzling.

"Stellar Soul Thunder Hell."

Buzz—!

An invisible domain instantly unfolded!

In an instant, within a hundred-meter radius, the air was filled with countless tiny, imperceptible soul arcs of electricity.

They moved and weaved through the void like living spirits, outlining the phantom of a magnificent and solemn thunder prison.

Ugluk felt a needle-like sting deep within his soul, as if countless tiny bolts of lightning were tearing at his spiritual core. His body's violent dark red energy, in the face of this invisible Thunder Hell, actually showed signs of being suppressed.

"Domain... This is... a 'Hero' rank domain!!"

"Ha... haha... hahahaha!"

Ugluk suddenly laughed hysterically, his laughter hoarse and grating, the veins on his hand gripping the greatblade bulging.

"So that's it... a 'Hero'! ...No wonder..." He stopped his wild laughter, muttering to himself, the frenzied excitement gradually replaced by a strange calm.

His gaze no longer focused on Bai Xiao, but drifted into the distance, his thoughts seemingly returning to a moment filled with longing.

A 'Hero'... It was because of their King—the great 'Hero' Bashaka—that the Goblin race was able to rise from weakness to strength, establishing a kingdom that made the various races of the Adran World tremble.

Ugluk had looked up at the King's figure countless times and knew too well the meaning of such an existence—destruction and creation, and... absolute danger.

An alien 'Hero'... absolutely not allowed to exist...

"Great King..." Ugluk slowly raised his head, his crimson eyes looking up at the gloomy sky, as if to pierce through the clouds and see some great existence. "It seems your subordinate will not be able to continue following you in your conquests..."

The dark red light on his body suddenly erupted, even overshadowing the color of his armor itself! His strong body began to shrivel at a visible speed, as if his life force was being frantically drained!

"Hero of the Human Race! Today, I... Ugluk... will surely slay you here!!"

"This world... only needs one 'Hero'..."

He roared, gripping the black greatblade with both hands, raising it high above his head. Vast dark red energy furiously gathered and compressed, forming a rapidly rotating energy vortex that exuded a destructive aura.

The surrounding light was twisted and swallowed, as if a small black hole had appeared there.

"Prison! Flame! Absolute! Void! Slash!!!"

Ugluk exhausted all his life force, unleashing the strongest, all-in final sword strike of his life!

A pitch-black sword light, condensed to the extreme, seemed to tear through space, carrying an aura of annihilating everything, and slashed towards Bai Xiao!

At the same time, a sharp light burst forth from Bai Xiao's eyes.

—"Condense!"

The unfolded Stellar Soul Thunder Hell suddenly contracted! Countless soul arcs of electricity, endless thunder sword intent, as if drawn by an invisible force, surged frantically towards the longsword in his hand!

The originally simple longsword was now completely covered by an indescribable light. It was no longer simply azure-blue, but a sword of azure light containing countless intricate thunder patterns, as if composed of pure soul lightning! The space around the sword body began to slightly twist and vibrate, emitting terrifying fluctuations capable of annihilating everything!

All the power of the entire domain was compressed into one sword!

In the next instant, the two figures, carrying their respective strongest powers, transformed into two streaks of light tearing through heaven and earth, and collided head-on!

...

A little earlier, on the west side of Greystone Keep.

This Goblin army encampment of Greystone Keep stretched for several miles, with numerous tents and campfires everywhere.

The changes within the city had already alarmed the Goblins here.

After the initial chaos, the garrison in the camp quickly began to assemble under the shouts and organization of various Goblin officers,

But just then...

"Woooo—woooo—woooo—"

A shrill and urgent horn blast echoed through the Goblin great camp.

Immediately after, the ground began to tremble violently, and a dull rumble approached from afar.

"Enemy attack!! It's cavalry!!" A slightly more experienced Goblin centurion's face instantly turned pale.

"Form ranks! Quickly form ranks!" Goblin officers roared hoarsely, whipping the soldiers who tried to retreat.

However, it was all too late.

Rumble—!!!

A torrent of cavalry, gleaming with lightning, appeared before the Goblin great camp!

Leading them was a man in silver armor and white robes, wielding a long spear wreathed in lightning, none other than the Infinite City cavalry commander... Huo Jun!

Behind him, a thousand Azure Lightning Cavalry Guard formed an arrow-shaped formation.

These elite cavalry, mostly around Tier 4, now, under Huo Jun's leadership, had their surrounding lightning almost merging into one, their aura subtly surpassing their own rank!

"Thunderous Charge!"

At Huo Jun's command, the tips of all the Azure Lightning Cavalry Guard's long spears simultaneously lit up with dazzling electric light, while massive energy was injected into the warhorses beneath them.

The warhorses neighed, and the speed of their galloping hooves surged again!

The entire cavalry unit seemed to transform into a thick blue bolt of lightning, striking fiercely towards the Goblin great camp...
