368: Was you trampled by an elephant?

“Quick, take the leader back to treat his injuries!”

It wasn't until the GTI helicopter was far away that the group of Soldiers finally snapped out of their shock.

Moving as fast as they possibly could, the group of Soldiers brought Reis back to the Diamond Queen Hotel in Longbow Stream Valley.

After being laid on the bed, Reis slowly opened his eyes.

Immediately, he saw that the bedside was surrounded by Soldiers.

Among them, two Soldiers were holding medical tools, their expressions grave.

“Leader, you're awake!”

“Leader, how are you feeling?”

Reis clutched his chest and struggled to sit up from the bed.

Seeing Reis struggling, several Soldiers quickly stepped in to help him, allowing him to sit up successfully.

“Don't touch me!”

“Which bastard was responsible for loading my ammunition earlier?!”

Reis shoved everyone away forcefully.

He swept his gaze across the crowd, and wherever he looked, the Soldiers lowered their heads.

“Damn it.”

“How could his piece-of-shit helmet possibly block my AP-20 slug?”

“Did someone fucking switch my ammo to buckshot?”

The first thing that came to Reis's mind was that bizarre scene from earlier.

He had clearly seen the bullet hit Liu Yan's head.

Yet it had ricocheted off.

In such a situation, the only possibility was that something was wrong with his ammunition.

But buckshot spreads, and at the time, it was definitely a single shot.

Unable to figure it out, Reis immediately suspected that one of the Soldiers had tampered with it.

Seeing that the Soldiers remained silent, Reis's expression turned cold.

Just as Reis was about to lash out, a sharp pain in his chest interrupted him.

And this sudden, intense pain, in a way, allowed the Soldiers to escape disaster.

“Why hasn't my injury been treated yet?”

Reis turned his head to look at the two Asara military doctors holding the medical tools.

The two military doctors trembled and hurriedly explained:

“Leader, it's not that we won't treat it...”

“It's just that with this injury of yours, anyone else would have died long ago.”

“It's thanks to your physical condition being far beyond that of an ordinary person that you survived...”

“That's right, Leader. Besides you, I've never heard of anyone else who could take a kick from an elephant head-on and still be alive.”

Hearing the military doctor finish, a Soldier standing nearby hurriedly waved his hands.

“No, no, I forgot to tell you. The leader was actually kicked by a big... who looked like he had just graduated...”

Before the Soldier could finish his sentence, he felt a chill.

He tilted his head slightly and discovered that Reis was looking at him with a threatening gaze.

“Right, he was trampled by an elephant that looked like it had just graduated.”

The Soldier said this quickly and hurriedly retreated behind the other Soldiers.

Only then did Reis slowly pull back his gaze.

It was one thing for the Soldiers present to have seen it.

But if it spread everywhere...

If word got out that he, Reis, had been kicked into this state by a college student who looked like he had just graduated, what face would he have left?

What would happen to his authority?

“You two, stop with all the nonsense. If you can't treat it, then tell me immediately how long it will take for my injury to heal.”

Reis looked at the two military doctors with an impatient tone.

“This...”

The two military doctors exchanged a look, both seeing the dilemma in each other's eyes.

Finally, after communicating with their eyes, they spoke in unison:

“Half a year...”

“What?! This little injury needs half a year to fully heal?!”

Reis almost jumped up from the bed, but the sharp pain in his chest made him obediently sit back down.

The two military doctors hurriedly waved their hands.

“No, Leader...”

“You...”

“Only have half a year to live.”

After saying this, the two military doctors immediately lowered their heads, not daring to meet Reis's gaze.

The moment he heard this news, Reis's expression became extremely stunned.

Was that kid a servant of the King of Hell?

A single kick and he had only half a year of life left?

Reis scrutinized the two military doctors in front of him.

It looked like they weren't lying to him.

After all, they knew the consequences better than anyone.

But even so, Reis still found it hard to accept this result.

It was just too unbelievable.

You have to realize, when he had prepared to grab him at the time, the kid had only instinctively raised his foot to kick him.

Even so, the force was so unreasonable that it felt like being hit by a truck.

If that had been a full-power kick, wouldn't he have fucking dropped dead on the spot?

A moment later, Reis's expression shifted from shock to desperate blankness.

The room was quiet, with only the Soldiers' hushed breathing remaining.

Seeing that Reis's expression was about to turn into a breakdown of rage, the two military doctors gritted their teeth and hurriedly consoled him:

“Leader! It's not that there's absolutely no way to fully treat your injuries!”

“That's right, Leader, you are not doomed to die!”

After the two military doctors finished, Reis turned his head, his gaze fixed intensely on the two of them.

Feeling this murderous gaze, cold sweat couldn't help but seep from the military doctors' foreheads.

The threat in those eyes was palpable.

It was as if those eyes were telling them that if they dared to play games with him, they would suffer the consequences.

“Leader, with Asara's level of technology and medical care, we truly cannot handle an injury like yours.”

“Our preliminary assessment is that while your ribs are shattered, bone fragments have also embedded themselves into your internal organs.”

“This is why you feel intense pain in your chest cavity whenever you move even slightly.”

“And as time passes, these bone fragments will sink in deeper...”

“But as long as these rib fragments are removed, your injuries will recover before long.”

“Except for Asara... most countries have this level of medical capability.”

Hearing the military doctor finish, Reis let out a long sigh of relief.

It wasn't because he was relieved, but because he had fallen into deep thought.

He, the Hell Black Shark, Reis.

His reputation couldn't be any bigger.

Have him go to other countries to undergo surgery?

Not to mention whether other countries would be willing to treat him.

Just the thought of letting those people cut him open and remove these bone fragments one by one...

Could he trust them?

Thinking of this, Reis's heart sank to the bottom.

“In other words, you two, as Asara military doctors,”

“can't even perform such a simple surgery?”

“Other countries can do it, but Asara can't?”

After Reis finished speaking, he looked again at the two military doctors who didn't dare to speak.

“Even if you can't cure it completely, can't your skills even manage to alleviate the injury?”

The two military doctors still didn't dare to answer, only nervously keeping their heads down, their toes curling tightly inside their shoes.

Reis looked at the two for a moment, stopped wasting his breath, and then beckoned to the other Soldiers.

“Someone, come here.”

“Take these two away.”

“Death penalty.”

As soon as these words were spoken, cold sweat instantly broke out profusely on the foreheads of the two military doctors.

Their pupils couldn't help but tremble violently.

The rest of the Soldiers were also stunned on the spot.

“Did you not hear the leader's order?”

Just as the Soldiers were at a loss, the four guards at the door spoke coldly.

Their equipment was clearly much more advanced than that of these Soldiers.

And judging by their physiques, they were also far stronger than these Soldiers.

This was also the reason why many Soldiers were dissatisfied with Reis but didn't dare to resist.

There were many more guards like these.

“Yes...”

The Soldiers nodded in acknowledgment, then together grabbed the two military doctors and led them out of the room.

“Leader! Leader, give me another chance!”

“Leader, please believe me, it's not that our expertise is lacking! It's that Asara's level of technology is too backward!”

“Leader, we didn't dare to perform surgery on you mainly because we were worried that our technology wasn't sufficient, and we couldn't be sure if the bone fragments were cleaned out completely! We were afraid of infection or leaving behind chronic injuries!”

“Leader!!”

Facing the desperate pleas of the two military doctors, Reis's expression remained completely unmoved.

“So noisy, shut them up.”
