119: Chapter 119 University Admission Announcements for the Two Busiest Men

Time quietly arrived in May 2013. Seoul had already shed the slight chill of spring, and the midday sun carried a warmth that was just right.

At SM Entertainment Company, Liu Zijun was dozing off in his office chair. On the desk were two cups of iced Americano, one for him and one for Choi Sulli.

By now, it seemed everyone in the entire company knew that Choi Sulli and this handsome bodyguard were dating.

Oh, and there was also Im Yoona, who was also being quite ambiguous with him.

It's just that Im Yoona had been returning to the company very little recently.

Just then, a slight commotion came from the end of the corridor. Kim Young-chul suddenly raised his phone and said, 'Zi-Jun! Look, the company posted an announcement. Your little girlfriend is trending!'

At the same time, Han Jaeran walked into the f(x) practice room holding a tablet, unable to hide his excitement as he said, 'Sulli! Krystal! Look quickly! Your announcement is trending! The fans are all praising you!'

They immediately gathered around. On the tablet screen, SM Entertainment's official website homepage displayed a prominent announcement: 'Congratulations to f(x) members Choi Sulli and Krystal Jung on their successful admission to the Seoul Institute of the Arts Film Department.'

The announcement detailed that after layers of selection through exams and interviews, the two had passed the Seoul Institute of the Arts Film Department's entrance assessment with outstanding results and officially became freshmen for the 2013 academic year.

The company would fully adjust their subsequent schedules, retaining only necessary commitments like group comebacks and important brand events, providing full support for their academic pursuits.

Most notably, the postscript at the end of the announcement read: Professor Kim Dae-jung of the Seoul Institute of the Arts Film Department gave high praise to the two artists' artistic talent and learning attitude.

Although Han Jaeran had guessed some of it, there was still a sense of awe in his eyes.

'Professor Kim Dae-jung is a legendary professor at Seoul Arts University! So many famous directors and actors are his students! To get his endorsement... kids, you're amazing!'

Victoria Song also nodded repeatedly and said, 'Even with Liu Zijun's maneuvering, Sulli and Krystal, you two are just too outstanding!'

Choi Sulli looked at the announcement, her eyes instantly lighting up. She turned and rushed straight out of the practice room to the security office. Looking at Liu Zijun, her eyes were filled with unbelievable joy.

Waving her phone, she exclaimed, 'Oppa! I really didn't expect Professor Kim Dae-jung to say that.'

She had known Liu Zijun arranged everything for her and Krystal Jung, but she truly hadn't expected an endorsement from an authoritative professor like Kim Dae-jung.

Seeing her elated look, the corner of Liu Zijun's mouth lifted in a gentle smile. 'It's not a dream. Our Jieuli is the best.'

Naturally, he wouldn't tell Choi Sulli that not only had he arranged top-tier tutors, but regarding Professor Kim Dae-jung, it was through JS Investment's university-enterprise cooperation project with Seoul Arts University, coupled with the fact that the two girls had indeed performed well, that this public endorsement was facilitated.

What he wanted to give them was never a shortcut through the back door, but a way for their efforts to be seen.

Krystal Jung also walked over, holding her own phone, the screen displaying that very announcement.

Her face still showed little expression, but deep in her eyes flashed a hint of imperceptible relief and joy. Her cool gaze landed on Liu Zijun, lingered for a few seconds, then quickly shifted away as she said softly, 'Thank you, Liu Zijun.'

Liu Zijun chuckled. 'Still not calling me oppa? Little Iceberg, this doesn't seem like the way to thank someone.'

Seeing her remain silent, Liu Zijun said in a calm tone, 'If you have any problems at school in the future, you can tell me.'

Just then, the door to Girls Generation's practice room was pushed open. Jessica Jung walked out, still wearing the group's practice clothes. Her face was expressionless as her gaze swept over the phones in everyone's hands. When she saw the announcement content, her brows furrowed slightly.

She was clearly happy, but upon seeing Liu Zijun, a flash of defiance appeared in her eyes, and her tone turned cool.

'Krystal, Sulli, congratulations.'

Ever since the argument at the apartment last time, she and Krystal Jung hadn't spoken for several days. With each being busy, they spoke even less.

And her attitude towards Liu Zijun was even colder.

She was both dissatisfied with him arranging Krystal Jung's life and feeling powerless to stop it. Her parents were very happy upon hearing the news that Krystal Jung was going to university.

And she secretly envied Choi Sulli, Im Yoona, Krystal Jung, and others for receiving his unreserved favor.

She was even more frustrated that her own fashion brand project wasn't progressing smoothly.

Choi Sulli sensed the distance in her tone and quickly stepped forward to grab her arm, smiling as she said, 'Sica unnie! Krystal and I will be university students now. Will you come to visit us at school when you have time?'

Jessica Jung smiled, her tone still flat. 'We'll see. I've been very busy lately, don't have much time.'

Her gaze swept over Liu Zijun again, carrying a trace of barely noticeable annoyance. She said somewhat impatiently, 'I hope you won't let your studies interfere with the group's activities.'

Liu Zijun glanced at her but said nothing, simply turning his attention to his phone.

Jessica Jung was taken aback by his attitude, her expression darkening further. She turned to leave but was stopped by Krystal Jung's voice: 'unnie.'

Jessica Jung stopped but didn't turn around.

'I will balance my studies and work well. I won't let you down.'

Krystal Jung's voice was soft but carried firmness.

Jessica Jung's shoulders stiffened slightly. Without responding, she walked straight into the adjacent practice room.

Kim Taeyeon witnessed the whole scene. Not understanding what was going on between this Jessica and Liu Zijun, she could only nod awkwardly at Liu Zijun before chasing after her.

'Yah! Sica, what exactly is going on between you and Liu Zijun?'

Jessica Jung said irritably, 'I just can't stand him! That dog man! That scumbag!'

Kim Taeyeon was speechless for a moment before saying, 'It's not like you just found out about Liu Zijun and them. They themselves don't mind, so why are you angry?'

Jessica Jung said irritably, 'Ugh! So annoying!'

With that, she walked back into the practice room.

Watching the retreating backs of the two unnie, Choi Sulli sighed helplessly and said, 'Sica unnie is still like that.'

'It's okay. She just needs some time to reflect on life.'

Liu Zijun patted her shoulder, changing the subject. 'What do you want to eat tonight? To celebrate you two getting into university.'

Choi Sulli's eyes immediately lit up, the earlier minor incident forgotten.

'I want to go to that restaurant by the Han River again! I want to celebrate with oppa, Yoona Unnie, and Yejin Unnie!'

Liu Zijun smiled and nodded. 'Sure. Yejin is actually your school senior, you know. You can ask her to help look after you later.'

Krystal Jung, however, said, 'I won't go. I'll have dinner with my unnie instead!'

Liu Zijun smiled slightly. 'Alright.'

As evening fell, in the riverside restaurant by the Han River, the floor-to-ceiling window of the private room offered a view of the dazzling nightscape. The glimmering lights of the Han River and the distant neon signs reflected each other.

The dining table was laden with exquisite dishes. In the center was a huge peach cake, decorated with a small flag that read 'Congratulations on Your Admission.'

Choi Sulli cut a piece of cake and offered it to Liu Zijun, saying, 'Oppa, the first piece is for you. Thank you for always being by my side.'

Liu Zijun took the cake. Looking at the starlight in her eyes, his heart was filled with tenderness.

'Silly girl, you have to pay attention in class at school from now on. No slacking off.'

At the same time, in another restaurant, Jessica Jung looked at the silent Krystal Jung and finally said, 'Krystal, congratulations.'

Krystal Jung nodded, nearly bursting into tears!
