188: Chapter 188 Shirley is going back to school

Choi Sulli leaned over the dining table, her fingertips unconsciously tracing the words "Seoul Institute of the Arts" on her university admission notice. A faint smile played on her lips, but a hint of imperceptible nervousness was hidden deep in her eyes.

"What are you thinking about?"

Liu Zijun walked over carrying two cups of iced Americano, placed one in front of her, and lightly tapped her forehead with his fingertips.

Choi Sulli looked up, her eyes sparkling. She smiled and said, "Oppa, after school starts, I'll have to go to class often while also balancing the group's schedule. Will I mess things up?"

"And I heard that university courses are very difficult. I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up."

She reached out and hugged Liu Zijun's arm, her head resting gently on his shoulder, full of reliance.

Liu Zijun rubbed her short hair, the faint scent of peaches from her hair lingering around his nose.

"Silly girl, you're so smart, you'll definitely be able to balance everything well."

"You don't have any schedules for the next two days. How about I take you somewhere to relax? I guarantee it'll make you cast all your worries aside."

Choi Sulli's eyes lit up, and she immediately sat up straight and smiled. "Where are we going? Are we going to eat something delicious?"

Liu Zijun shook his head with a smile. "How about we go camping? Just the two of us. It's been a long time since I've spent time alone with you.

We'll spend two days in the mountains and forests of Gangwon-do, look at the stars, and feel the evening breeze."

Choi Sulli's eyes widened in surprise. She reached out to touch her backpack, her face full of anticipation.

"But I've never been camping before. Won't it be a lot of trouble? And will there be bugs if we stay in a tent at night?"

Liu Zijun flicked her nose and said, "What are you afraid of with me around?"

"I've prepared everything: the tent, sleeping bags, grill, and your favorite cheese rice cakes. I guarantee you'll have an unforgettable camping experience."

Choi Sulli's interest was instantly ignited. She immediately stood up and pulled Liu Zijun toward the bedroom.

Her skirt swayed gently with her movements like a joyful little butterfly. The slight nervousness from before had long since been cast to the back of her mind.

"Then let's head out now! I'm going to pack my bags!"

Liu Zijun followed with a helpless smile, watching her rush into the bedroom and start rummaging through things, his eyes full of doting affection.

He knew that although this girl seemed lively and cheerful, she always hid various concerns in her heart.

This camping trip wasn't just to help her relax; he also wanted her to know that no matter what happened in the future, he would always be by her side.

Furthermore, Liu Zijun also needed to take some time to think carefully about what he should do in the future. Facing so many women was also giving him a bit of a headache.

After packing their bags, the two of them drove toward Gangwon-do.

As the car drove away from the Seoul city center, the reinforced concrete skyscrapers were gradually replaced by lush mountains and forests, and the air became fresher.

After getting off the highway and driving on the mountain roads, Choi Sulli opened the car window and let the evening breeze brush against her cheeks. Her hair was blown into a mess, but her smile was exceptionally bright.

She pointed at the continuous green mountains outside the window and said excitedly, "Oppa, look over there!"

Liu Zijun looked in the direction she was pointing. The distant mountains were layered in emerald green, shrouded in mist like a flowing landscape painting.

He slowed down the car so she could see more clearly.

"The campsite we're going to in a bit is right at the foot of the mountain. There's also a small stream, so we can sleep to the sound of flowing water tonight."

Choi Sulli's eyes sparkled as she listened, and she chattered away with questions. "Really? Then can we go catch little fish in the stream? Will there be fireflies? I also want to sing by the campfire!"

"We can do all of that."

Liu Zijun agreed to each one. Looking at the longing in her eyes, his heart softened as well.

This girl had been through so much, yet she still maintained a pure love for the world. Wasn't this innocent and romantic nature exactly what he wanted to see most?

After driving for over three hours, they finally reached their destination.

This was a relatively secluded campsite surrounded by green mountains. A clear stream flowed past the site, gurgling and splashing with fine droplets of water.

The grass along the bank was covered with nameless little wildflowers—pink, yellow, and white—dotted among the emerald green grass, looking exceptionally beautiful.

Liu Zijun parked the car and began unloading the camping gear.

Choi Sulli also wanted to help, but he stopped her.

"Just sit and rest on the side. I'll handle this heavy work."

He took out the tent and set it up with practiced movements. Before long, a blue tent stood steadily on the grass.

Choi Sulli sat on a folding chair nearby, resting her chin on her hand as she watched his busy figure.

The afterglow of the setting sun spilled over him, outlining his tall silhouette. Sweat slid down from his temples, yet it only made him look more masculine.

She couldn't help but pick up her phone to secretly capture this scene. The man in the photo was focused and earnest, set against a backdrop of continuous green mountains and a brilliant sunset.

After setting up the tent, Liu Zijun turned around to see her giggling at her phone and walked over to rub her hair.

"What are you taking a picture of?"

Choi Sulli hurriedly pressed the send button and then hid her phone behind her back, her cheeks slightly flushed.

"Nothing, I just think the scenery here is beautiful."

Little did she know that this display of affection would cause another sensation, especially among the junsulli cp fans.

She stood up, took Liu Zijun's hand, and ran to the edge of the stream.

"Oppa, look how clear the water is! There really are little fish!"

The stream was crystal clear, allowing one to plainly see the little fish swimming at the bottom and the rounded pebbles.

Choi Sulli squatted down and reached out to gently touch the surface of the water. The icy sensation made her let out a soft giggle.

Liu Zijun stood behind her, lightly supporting her waist for fear she might slip, his eyes full of tenderness.

The setting sun gradually sank into the distant mountains, dyeing the sky orange-red and making the stream shimmer with reflected light.

Liu Zijun took Choi Sulli's hand and said, "Let's go back and prepare dinner. It'll be dark soon."

Back at the campsite, Liu Zijun took out the grill, lit the charcoal, and placed the pre-marinated pork belly, steaks, and various vegetables on the rack.

The charcoal sizzled, and the aroma of meat mixed with the fresh scent of vegetables filled the air, making Choi Sulli swallow repeatedly.

She sat on the side, holding a small fan and occasionally fanning the charcoal, busy like a little assistant.

Choi Sulli's phone rang.

Im Yoona's face appeared on the phone. She had recently been preparing for a drama, and with many other jobs on top of that, she was busy around the clock!

"Yah! Oppa! You're taking Sulli out to play again. I want to go too."

Choi Sulli laughed and said, "Yoona Unnie! You have to work hard to earn money to support the family. Oppa and I will rely on you to support us in the future!"

Im Yoona's exquisite makeup was almost ruined by her anger.

"Choi Sulli! You're just being a spoiled brat after getting a good deal!"

"Oppa is just biased toward you!"

Choi Sulli just giggled foolishly.

"Oppa, let me help you flip the meat! You should chat with Yoona Unnie!"
