190: Chapter 190 The JK Sisters' Incident

Krystal Jung was wearing a simple white sweatshirt and jeans, her long hair tied in a high ponytail, revealing her smooth forehead and delicate collarbone. She was looking down at her phone screen, a faint, hard-to-detect smile playing on her lips.

On the phone screen was a message from Liu Zijun.

"I'm waiting for you at the entrance of Yeouido Park. I brought the red bean bread you like."

She had just finished filming her new drama, "the heirs," and having some free time today, she got up to make the date.

She had a role in this school drama, which JS Investment participated in funding, and her screen time was not insignificant.

With the start of the semester at the Seoul Institute of the Arts looming, she had been incredibly busy lately, making even the time spent alone with Liu Zijun a luxury.

Krystal Jung quickened her pace, spotting the familiar figure at the park entrance from a distance.

Liu Zijun was dressed in black casual wear, leaning tall against a lamppost with a paper bag in hand. His gaze gently scanned the passing crowd, and when he saw her, his eyes lit up.

"Oppa!"

Krystal Jung ran over with a smile, her cheeks flushed with a faint pink from the exertion.

Liu Zijun reached out to take the backpack from her shoulder and naturally handed her the red bean bread.

"I just bought it; it's still warm. Try some."

Krystal Jung took a large bite, the sweet and sticky red bean paste melting in her mouth as she narrowed her eyes in satisfaction.

"So delicious! It's much better than the ones at the film set."

As she ate, she chatted away, sharing interesting stories, showing no trace of her Little Iceberg persona.

"During filming yesterday, the director said my expression was too stiff and I had many NGs. It was a bit embarrassing."

"And school is starting soon. The counselor sent out the class schedule, and many classes conflict with the filming schedule. President Jiang is helping me coordinate."

Liu Zijun listened patiently, nodding in response from time to time, his finger gently brushing away the breadcrumbs from the corner of her mouth.

"Don't work too hard. If it really can't be coordinated, prioritize your studies. There will be other opportunities to act in the future."

Krystal Jung shook her head and said with a determined look, "No, this opportunity is hard to come by."

"Besides, I want to prove myself—that I can be both a good actress and a good student."

Seeing the stubbornness in her eyes, Liu Zijun felt a pang of heartache and reached out to ruffle her hair.

"You're such a headstrong, silly girl. In my heart, your happiness is what matters most."

The two walked side by side into the park, strolling slowly along the path by the Han River.

They were just about to go have breakfast!

Krystal Jung's phone suddenly rang, with the name "Jessica" displayed on the screen.

Her expression changed slightly, and she instinctively glanced at Liu Zijun before pressing the answer key.

"Hello, Jessica."

Jessica Jung's cold voice came from the other end: "Krystal, where are you? Haven't you come home from filming yet? Mom asked me to bring you some things, but you're not at the apartment."

Krystal Jung's heart skipped a beat as she quickly said, "I'm out for a walk. I'll be back soon. Just wait for me a bit."

"A walk? Where? I happen to be free right now, so I'll just drop it off on my way. It'll save you a trip."

Jessica Jung's voice carried a tone that brooked no refusal.

Krystal Jung's eyes instantly filled with panic. She instinctively gripped Liu Zijun's hand and lowered her voice, saying, "No need, I'll be back very soon. Really, don't trouble yourself."

Jessica Jung insisted, "It's no trouble. Tell me the address; I'm coming over now."

Sensing Krystal Jung's tension, Liu Zijun gently patted the back of her hand, signaling her to stay calm.

Krystal Jung bit her lip and reluctantly gave the park's location. After hanging up, her face was full of anxiety: "Oppa, maybe you should head back first? If she sees us together, she'll definitely be angry."

She knew her sister's feelings for Liu Zijun and how stubborn her sister's personality was. Once they were caught, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Liu Zijun held her hand, his tone calm: "Don't panic. If she sees us, she sees us. She'll have to find out sooner or later."

"But..."

Krystal Jung wanted to say more, but then she saw a figure at the distant intersection looking at them coldly.

When she saw Krystal Jung and Liu Zijun notice her, Jessica Jung's face instantly darkened.

"Liu Zijun! Krystal Jung! You two bastards!"

Jessica Jung's voice, carrying suppressed fury, was exceptionally clear in the early morning park.

Krystal Jung trembled with fear and instinctively tried to pull her hand away, but Liu Zijun held it firmly.

She looked up at her sister, who was walking closer and closer, her face pale and her eyes full of panic and helplessness.

Jessica Jung walked up to them, her gaze fixed intently on their joined hands before looking at Krystal Jung, her eyes filled with rage.

"What are you doing?"

"Jessica, I..."

Krystal Jung opened her mouth but didn't know how to explain, tears welling up in her eyes.

Liu Zijun took a step forward, shielding Krystal Jung behind him, and looked at Jessica Jung with a calm expression.

"It was my idea. It has nothing to do with Krystal. If you want to blame someone, blame me."

Jessica Jung let out a sneer, her eyes full of anger and panic!

"Liu Zijun, of course I blame you! I really underestimated you. Sleeping with me wasn't enough? You wouldn't even let my sister go!"

"I told you, didn't I? Stay away from her!"

Liu Zijun remained noncommittal!

She turned to look at Krystal Jung, her voice trembling slightly.

"Krystal Jung, why are you doing this? Didn't you say you had already given up on him?"

Krystal Jung's tears finally fell uncontrollably, her voice choked with sobs: "I didn't mean to. I truly like Oppa. I didn't want to hurt you either, but I can't control myself."

Jessica Jung's emotions instantly became volatile as she pointed at Liu Zijun and shouted, "He has Choi Sulli, Im Yoona, and Son Ye-jin by his side. What can you get by following him? It's nothing more than sharing his love with others!"

Krystal Jung looked up and retorted, "I don't care!"

"As long as I can stay by Oppa's side, even if it's like this, I'm willing."

"Are you stupid?"

Jessica Jung was trembling with rage. She reached out to pull Krystal Jung, but her sister dodged her.

"Am I stupid? Aren't you stupid too?"

"Don't think I don't know about you and Oppa! Why is it okay for you but not for me?"

"Jessica! You're always so overbearing. I was with Oppa first, okay?"

"If anyone is the latecomer, it's you! You're the stupid one!"

Liu Zijun saw that Jessica Jung was stunned, and Krystal Jung was also extremely agitated!

"Are you two sure you want to argue here? Both of you, shut up!"

"Let's go! Back to your apartment!"

Seeing that people were indeed starting to notice them, the jk sisters huffed at each other but still followed behind Liu Zijun toward the car.

Liu Zijun really hated himself a bit. Sleeping with women was great, but times like this were quite a headache!

Taking one in each hand, he quickly slipped into the car.

Then he headed toward the jk sisters' apartment!
