125: Chapter 125 Sorry, I showed you another side of oppa.

Not long after Liu Zijun returned to his office and sat down, there were two light knocks on the door.

He looked up to see Bae Joohyun and Kang Seulgi standing side by side at the entrance.

Bae Joohyun was wearing a white long-sleeved sweatshirt with small pearl decorations at the neckline, her cool face carrying a trace of imperceptible nervousness.

Meanwhile, Kang Seulgi was in a black sweatshirt and sports shorts, full of energy, holding two unopened notebooks in her hands.

Kang Seulgi spoke first, her voice lively: "Elder Brother Liu Zijun, let's go!"

Bae Joohyun's face flushed slightly, and with a constrained, embarrassed smile, she said, "The kids said they haven't had coffee with you for two days and insisted on coming. I'm so sorry!"

Liu Zijun put down the book in his hand, raised an eyebrow, and a gentle smile played on his lips.

"True! We've rotated several times already. You treated me last time, so it's my turn this time. Let's go, let's go!"

Bae Joohyun's cheeks reddened slightly as she waved her hands quickly. "No, no, you'll lose out every time that way!"

Kang Seulgi pulled on her arm and said to Liu Zijun with a smile, "Oh, unnie! Joon oppa is someone with a salary, while we aren't. Don't worry about such trifles between friends!"

Liu Zijun laughed. "There's nothing wrong with that logic. Let's go!"

Seeing that both of them were ready to leave, Bae Joohyun finally whispered, "Alright then! We'll do as Joon oppa says, and we'll treat you next time!"

The two followed behind him, walking along the corridor toward the elevator.

Bae Joohyun would steal glances at Liu Zijun's back from time to time, her heart feeling a mix of nervousness and anticipation.

Im Yoona's wary gaze from the first time she treated him to coffee was still in her mind, but she just couldn't help wanting to know more about this mysterious and reliable man.

Kang Seulgi, on the other hand, was chirping away, asking Liu Zijun about interesting stories, appearing very lively.

The elevator went straight to the first floor. Just as the three stepped out of the SM Entertainment building and reached the roadside, Choi Sulli's clear voice called out from behind: "Oppa! Wait for me!"

Liu Zijun turned around and saw Choi Sulli wearing loose, pale pink practice clothes, her hair tied in a small bun. She was jogging toward them with an anxious yet joyful expression.

She had originally gone to the office to find Liu Zijun, and upon hearing from Lee Taeyong that he had just gone downstairs, she immediately chased after him.

Liu Zijun turned to Bae Joohyun and Kang Seulgi with a smile, his tone apologetic.

"Sorry about that. This little girl is always so impulsive."

The two girls, Bae Joohyun and Kang Seulgi, were about to nod when Liu Zijun's expression changed instantly.

A sudden commotion erupted within the otherwise orderly crowd of fans.

Five men wearing black masks suddenly rushed out. They wore identical black hoodies with the brims pulled low, masks covering their faces, leaving only pairs of fierce eyes visible.

The group moved extremely fast, running straight toward Liu Zijun and the others. They were clearly wielding steel pipes and short clubs. The last man, who was the most heavily built, even held a cold, glinting dagger between his fingers.

Liu Zijun's voice instantly became cold and stern.

"Get back! Run inside the company!"

Without the slightest hesitation, he pulled Bae Joohyun and Kang Seulgi behind him to protect them, then gave them a gentle push backward.

The two girls stumbled from his push, their faces already pale with fright.

Bae Joohyun's body was trembling slightly, her eyes filled with terror as she tightly gripped Kang Seulgi's hand and screamed.

Choi Sulli also cried out in fear and ran toward him quickly, her eyes full of anxiety!

Liu Zijun took a step forward, shielding the two girls. The aura around him instantly became sharp and fierce, like a predator ready to strike.

The lead man swung a steel pipe, smashing it toward Liu Zijun's head with a whistling sound.

Liu Zijun dodged it with an easy side-step, simultaneously landing an elbow strike to the man's armpit with lightning speed.

The man cried out in pain and stumbled to the ground, clutching the sore spot as the steel pipe flew out of his hand.

Seeing this, the two behind him attacked from both sides, their short clubs swinging toward Liu Zijun's waist and back at the same time.

Liu Zijun bent down to evade the attack, grabbed the incoming short club with his right hand, and wrenched it away with a sudden burst of strength while raising his knee to strike the opponent's stomach.

The man let out a muffled groan, his stomach feeling as if it had been hit by a giant boulder. He retreated several steps, clutching his belly, too pained to even speak.

Taking advantage of the momentum, Liu Zijun swung the captured club at the man on the other side, hitting him right on the wrist. The man yelped in pain, the club slipped from his hand, and he stumbled into a nearby lamppost.

The fourth man swung a steel pipe at Liu Zijun's legs, intending to restrict his movement.

Liu Zijun leaped up, spinning in the air, and kicked the man in the chest, knocking him to the ground. Upon landing, he immediately stepped on the man's wrist, causing the steel pipe to fall to the ground with a clang.

The last man, the burly one holding the dagger, saw four of his companions go down in an instant. He cursed, his eyes growing even more vicious.

He lunged forward fiercely, the dagger thrusting straight toward Liu Zijun's chest at a cunning and ruthless angle.

Liu Zijun's pupils constricted. As he sidestepped, his left hand firmly gripped the man's wrist, and his right fist smashed hard against the man's elbow joint.

The man let out a muffled grunt, realizing he had encountered a tough opponent.

He twisted his body again, trying to break free from Liu Zijun's grip. Liu Zijun's gaze turned cold as he kicked the back of the man's knee, forcing the strong man to the ground.

Simultaneously, he pinned the man's neck with his right hand, pressing him into the pavement so he couldn't move.

The entire process took less than twenty seconds. All five thugs were subdued on the ground, their wails rising one after another.

The fans at the entrance of SM Entertainment were already screaming in shock. Some took out their phones to film frantically, while others hurriedly called the police.

The company security finally arrived, quickly taking control of the thugs on the ground who still wanted to escape, pinning their hands behind their backs and confiscating their weapons.

"Oppa!"

Choi Sulli finally reached him. Ignoring everything else, she rushed forward and threw herself into Liu Zijun's arms, tears streaming down instantly.

She didn't care how many fans were taking pictures or how chaotic the scene was; her only focus was checking Liu Zijun's body.

"Oppa, are you okay? Are you hurt? Where does it hurt?"

Her voice carried a sob as her hands frantically searched over him, afraid of missing even a single wound.

Liu Zijun felt the girl in his arms trembling with fear, and his heart softened. The sharp aura around him dissipated instantly, replaced by sheer tenderness.

He raised his hand to gently pat her back, soothing her in a gentle voice: "I'm fine, Jin-ri. I'm fine, I'm not hurt at all."

Bae Joohyun and Kang Seulgi also walked over quickly. Their faces still showed lingering shock, and their eyes were full of worry as they looked at Liu Zijun.

Bae Joohyun's voice was still trembling slightly as she asked softly, "Elder Brother Liu Zijun, are you really okay?"

Liu Zijun smiled at them and nodded. "Don't worry, I'm fine. I'm sorry you were frightened."

Choi Sulli looked up at him with teary eyes, her small hands still tightly clutching his clothes.

This was the first time she had seen another side of Liu Zijun so vividly.

"Oppa, you scared me to death. It was so terrifying just now..."

The surrounding fans were still taking photos and discussing the event, with camera flashes going off one after another.

That thrilling scene just now had been recorded by countless lenses.

Kim Young-chul and Lee Taeyong also ran over quickly, followed by company staff who had heard the commotion, including some higher-ups.

Kim Young-chul asked Liu Zijun, "Ji-Jun, are you okay? aishiba, these bastards are too arrogant. We've already called the police; they'll be here soon."

Liu Zijun nodded, his gaze sweeping over the subdued thugs on the ground. His eyes turned cold again as he said to himself, "Keep an eye on them and wait for the police to handle it."

Kim Ji-yeon, who was in the crowd, nodded slightly.

Choi Sulli still held Liu Zijun's arm tightly, refusing to let go, muttering repeatedly, "Oppa, I'm scared..."

Lee Soo-man frowned and said, "Sulli, you guys go back inside first!"

Liu Zijun smiled and rubbed her short hair, saying to her, "Sorry for letting you see another side of me! You guys go back first!"

She looked back and saw several girls from Girls Generation who didn't have schedules, and she shook her head at them.

Im Yoona's anxious expression changed as she nodded, quickly pulling Choi Sulli and Sunny—who still wanted to watch the excitement—back into the company.
