120: Chapter 120 An unexpected encounter with Kim Ji-won

Early summer in Seoul always carries a just-right warmth; it truly is a wonderful time.

Liu Zijun rode a black Kawasaki motorcycle, carrying Im Yoona as they slowly entered the campus. The low roar of the engine was particularly noticeable in the quiet campus, drawing frequent side-glances from many passing students.

But they failed to recognize Im Yoona.

Today, Im Yoona was wearing a simple white shirt and light blue jeans, her long hair tied in a refreshing ponytail, with a hint of excitement on her face.

She lightly wrapped her arms around Liu Zijun's waist, her cheek pressed against his back, feeling the familiar warmth of his body heat, her lips unconsciously curling upward.

Her voice carried a hint of softness, coming through the helmet somewhat muffled.

"Oppa, are you sure you want to wait for me here? Won't it be too boring?"

Liu Zijun arrived at a less crowded parking lot, parked the motorcycle, and took off his helmet, revealing his sharp-featured face.

He helped Im Yoona take off her helmet, stroked her small face, and said in a gentle tone, "It's fine. I'll wander around the campus and take the chance to experience the university atmosphere of The Peninsula.

I won't accompany you to class to avoid starting any rumors for you. Just focus on your class and call me when you're done."

Im Yoona muttered softly, "I'm not afraid! I'd actually love for some rumors to spread about us!"

Liu Zijun laughed heartily.

Im Yoona stomped her feet, stood on her tiptoes to give him a quick kiss on the cheek, and said with slightly reddened cheeks, "Then I'm going to class. Oppa, no running off!"

After saying that, she picked up her bag, turned around, and ran toward the teaching building, not forgetting to turn back and wave at Liu Zijun after a few steps.

Liu Zijun watched her lively back, a faint smile playing on his lips. He put down the helmet and leisurely strolled through the campus.

The campus environment of Dongguk University was elegant. From time to time, he could see female students in school uniforms carrying books, a youthful atmosphere permeating the air.

What a great place!

He found a shady spot under a tree and leaned back in a seat, casually observing his surroundings.

He didn't know how much time had passed.

A few beautifully dressed female students noticed him. With curiosity and shyness in their eyes, they nudged each other, seemingly hesitating whether to approach and strike up a conversation.

Liu Zijun simply looked away indifferently, gazing at the distant basketball court with a calm and steady expression.

This indifferent attitude only added to the curiosity of those female students. One of the bolder girls took a deep breath, gathered her courage, and walked toward him.

"Um... excuse me, are you here to see someone? Looking at you, you probably aren't a student at our school, right?"

The girl's voice carried a hint of nervousness, her cheeks flushing slightly.

Liu Zijun turned his head and nodded politely, "Yes, waiting for someone to finish class."

His tone was flat, devoid of extra emotion, his gaze clear and distant.

Feeling a bit embarrassed by his gaze, the girl subconsciously tightened her grip on the hem of her clothes and asked again, "Can we exchange contact information?"

Liu Zijun smiled to himself. Was he being hit on again?

"Sorry, I have a girlfriend."

His attitude was gentle but carried a clear sense of distance, and his answer left the girl standing there awkwardly for a moment.

Then, amidst the jeering of her friends, she ran away with a blushing face!

Just then, a crisp female voice let out a chuckle.

Liu Zijun looked toward the sound and saw a girl in a beige dress standing not far away. She had long hair cascading over her shoulders, delicate features, and curiosity in her eyes.

The girl was wearing a mask. Seeing Liu Zijun look over, she smiled and said, "I didn't expect you to be so well-behaved! Mr. Liu Zijun!"

This person was none other than the beautiful actress from The Peninsula, Kim Ji-won. She had just finished a major course and, while passing by, happened to see Liu Zijun being approached by the female student.

At first, she just felt that this man had an extraordinary temperament and a tall, straight posture; even just sitting there, he was exceptionally eye-catching.

Especially his calm and composed manner when facing the female student's approach—neither arrogant nor deliberately accommodating—made Kim Ji-won feel even more curious.

After looking more closely, Kim Ji-won suddenly felt he looked familiar, and then she remembered something.

Additionally, the news of Choi Sulli having a bodyguard boyfriend had been causing quite a stir in the entertainment industry lately. As Choi Sulli's friend, she had naturally asked her about it.

Choi Sulli hadn't hidden it from her and even showed her a photo of the two of them.

So, Kim Ji-won recognized Liu Zijun instantly.

Seeing Liu Zijun reject the female college student, she nodded in satisfaction.

Sulli's boyfriend is quite decent. She then walked forward to greet him.

Liu Zijun watched Kim Ji-won take off her mask and took a look, a flash of realization crossing his eyes.

He indeed had an impression of Kim Ji-won, though not because he knew her from his past life.

Rather, he knew she had filmed a TV drama with Choi Sulli and would also be filming "the heirs" with Krystal Jung in the second half of the year.

Mainly, her private relationship with Choi Sulli was quite good.

Choi Sulli had mentioned her once, though he hadn't particularly taken it to heart.

He nodded and asked with a smile, "Kim Ji-won-xi?"

Kim Ji-won's eyes lit up. She didn't expect him to recognize her, especially since she had heard that this man didn't even recognize Girls Generation at first.

A bright smile appeared on her face, and the slight restraint from before vanished instantly.

"That's right! I'm Kim Ji-won, a friend of Sulli's."

Liu Zijun's lips curled slightly as he lightly shook Kim Ji-won's hand and said, "Liu Zijun."

After a brief handshake, Kim Ji-won asked curiously, "Why are you here? Are you here to wait for Sulli? Isn't she busy recording a new album at SM Entertainment?"

Liu Zijun explained, "No, I'm waiting for Im Yoona; she has a class here."

His gaze inadvertently drifted toward the direction of the teaching building where Im Yoona was having her class.

Kim Ji-won suddenly realized, "So that's how it is! Senior Yoona is indeed at our school. Does SM Entertainment Company have such good benefits? They even arrange security personnel for classes?"

"Then again, Senior Yoona is very popular, so arranging security personnel is possible."

Liu Zijun sighed helplessly, neither admitting nor denying it.

You've already filled in all the blanks yourself; what else can I say!

Kim Ji-won paused and couldn't help but tease, "Sulli praised you to the skies, saying you know everything and are especially good to her. Seeing you today, you truly live up to your reputation."

"That female student just now was quite pretty! Should I put in a good word for you in front of Sulli?"

Liu Zijun smiled but didn't respond.

He could feel that Kim Ji-won had a bright personality, and he hadn't expected her to be so familiar so quickly.

Kim Ji-won thought to herself, 'I just want to get the gossip, okay?'

The two chatted casually for a bit. Liu Zijun checked the time; it was still early before Im Yoona's class ended.

Seeing that Kim Ji-won had no intention of leaving, he invited her for a cup of coffee, and they started chatting again.

Naturally, most of it was about the recent situations of Choi Sulli and Krystal Jung. Kim Ji-won mentioned that she would be filming with Krystal in the second half of the year, her tone full of anticipation.

Liu Zijun only responded occasionally, his attitude gentle but always maintaining an appropriate distance.
