79: Chapter 79 The Crying Little Iceberg

When she returned to the room, Krystal Jung had already finished washing up and was lying in bed. Seeing Choi Sulli come in, she lifted her eyelids slightly.

"Where did you go? You came back so late. You didn't... go do something naughty with Liu Zijun, did you?"

Choi Sulli immediately pounced on Krystal Jung, exclaiming, "How could that be? Krystal, you've become corrupted! Why aren't you calling him 'Joon oppa' anymore?"

Krystal Jung pushed her away with disdain, then touched the face mask on her face and said, "I don't want to call him that anymore! He's a scumbag. Only you and Yoona Unnie are so foolish."

Choi Sulli was instantly embarrassed.

After washing up and lying in her own bed, her eyes fixed on the ceiling, her mind was filled with scenes of being with Liu Zijun.

Scene after scene replayed in her mind, making her heart race.

After tossing and turning for over an hour, Choi Sulli couldn't hold back any longer.

She quietly got up and, by the faint light coming through the window, carefully put on her shoes. Her movements were as light as a cat's, afraid of waking Krystal Jung.

When she reached the door, she glanced back at the sleeping Krystal Jung, feeling somewhat reassured.

She gently opened the room door, closed it softly, and quickly walked toward the elevator.

The moment she knocked open Liu Zijun's room door, Choi Sulli almost immediately rushed in and tightly hugged him.

"Oppa, I can't sleep. I miss you."

Liu Zijun was stunned for a moment, then immediately felt the trembling and rapid breathing of the girl in his arms, his heart instantly softening.

He closed the door behind him with one hand, hugged her, and gently soothed, "What's wrong? Are you scared?"

She stood on her tiptoes and actively kissed Liu Zijun's lips.

It wasn't the first time. He responded to her kiss, his movements gentle.

A little past three in the morning, Choi Sulli carefully got up. Liu Zijun watched her with amusement. This girl insisted on going back, saying she didn't want to be teased by Krystal in the morning.

Her face flushed red, her body sore and weak, she planted a soft kiss on his forehead and then left the room.

When she returned to her own room, she quietly opened the door with her key card. Just as she walked to the bedside, she saw Krystal Jung with her eyes open, staring fixedly at her.

Choi Sulli's heart skipped a beat. She subconsciously stopped in her tracks, her cheeks instantly turning bright red. Standing there awkwardly, she didn't know what to say.

The room was completely silent, with only the occasional sound of cars from outside the window.

Looking at Choi Sulli's disheveled hair and flushed cheeks, Krystal Jung felt as if something had stabbed her heart, a dense, piercing pain.

She didn't speak, just slowly closed her eyes, turned over, faced away from Choi Sulli, and buried herself under the covers.

Thinking she wasn't angry, Choi Sulli breathed a sigh of relief and quietly lay back in her own bed. She didn't notice, however, that under the covers, Krystal Jung's shoulders were trembling slightly.

Tears silently slid down, soaking the pillowcase.

Krystal Jung bit her lip hard, not letting herself make a sound.

Young girls naturally have a tendency to idolize heroes, and she was no exception.

The way Liu Zijun protected them, the way he looked down on Kim Young-min, all of it fascinated her.

But he didn't belong to her.

What made her even sadder was that Liu Zijun clearly also had an ambiguous relationship with Im Yoona, and now he was like this with Sulli. Such a man was simply an irresponsible scumbag.

She slowly clenched her fist, making a decision in her heart.

From today on, she would let go of all her favorable feelings for Liu Zijun, treating him only as a friend she needed to keep a distance from, or perhaps a stranger.

For Choi Sulli's sake, and for her own, she could no longer get trapped in this fruitless affection.

...

Choi Sulli and the others got up early in the morning and flew directly back to Seoul to catch their schedule.

Although, according to Jiang Hongshao's thinking, since they had gained control of f(x), she would reduce their schedules to prevent them from getting too tired.

But after some discussion, they were willing to stay busy. This way, they could maintain their popularity.

They were also afraid that with too few activities, they would gradually be forgotten by people.

When Liu Zijun followed them to the airport, he received a text message. The content was similarly brief: "Temporarily cannot leave the country!"

He didn't meet with the f(x) members, just quietly watched them leave.

Only after the five girls disappeared into the security checkpoint did Liu Zijun turn back and say to the man named Blade beside him, "Xiao Dao! You've worked hard, running around all over the place on this trip."

Blade softly shook his head and said, "You know the situation. Following them around, the days are quite relaxing!"

"It's just... dealing with the big sister over there is a bit troublesome! Last time she sat next to Dr. Klein, I was practically scared out of my wits!"

Liu Zijun looked at him somewhat speechlessly and asked, "Are you that afraid of her? With your skills, even if you can't beat her, you could still exchange a few moves, right?"

Blade gave him a look that clearly said—as if you're not afraid of her?

Feeling awkward under his gaze, Liu Zijun gave a dry laugh and said, "It's fine. When we go back, tell Ying not to arrange any European schedules for Jinli recently."

"Weren't you always a fan of Apink? Go chase stars when you have time. Young people, it's good to have some energy."

Blade shuddered all over, his face turning red with suppressed emotion.

This was his most secret secret. How did he know? Is 'Gu' really that powerful?

Little did he know, Liu Zijun had only discovered this in his previous life, around 2014. He had just blurted it out without thinking.

In the previous life, after Choi Soo-myung discovered this, the two instantly became good friends.

"Go on!"

After Blade left, Liu Zijun took out his phone, looked at the message on it, and felt somewhat helpless.

Not letting me leave the country, yet dragging things out without giving a result. What exactly are these big shots trying to do?

He decided not to wait any longer.

His gaze turned directly toward the direction of the capital.

But as if knowing his thoughts, just after Liu Zijun bought a ticket from Star City to the capital, before he had even waited half an hour in the departure lounge, his phone rang.

A somewhat hoarse and weary voice sounded: "Go to Ukraine! After this matter is finished, unless there's a major mission, we won't bother you! Of course, you can no longer use the God Hunter Organization or act recklessly under the name 'Gu'."

"All that crap of yours has been retrieved for you and will be handed over to Ying by Emily for management."

"You little son of a bitch, you just pat your butt and leave, either sleeping with this little celebrity or that little girl."

"Even Emily is about to go on strike! You sort out this mess yourself! Otherwise, just roll back to Qatar and stay there, don't go anywhere else!"

"Damn it! What a pain in the ass! And because of you, Ying has temporarily left the organization too. I think that damn girl is actually quite happy about it! She's going to give me a heart attack!"

"gemini will return after you complete your mission! You'll have to look after those women of yours yourself!"

"Liu Zijun! Do you have any idea how many arguments you've caused me, you little son of a bitch?"

"No more talking! That's it, my throat is hoarse!"

"Get the hell out of here, the farther the better!"

Hearing the busy tone on the other end, Liu Zijun sighed inwardly, "Thank you, Elder Jiang!"
