111: Chapter 111 All Sects Gather

Three days later. Inside the Longcheng Immortal Market, a massive wooden hall was brightly lit, and colorful flags snapped in the morning breeze.

In the center of the wooden hall stood a large rectangular table covered with a white silk cloth, embroidered with the emblems of each sect.

The sword of the Heavenly Sword Sect, the azure cloud of the Qingyun Sect, the red clouds of the Luoxia Sect, and the black bird of the Xuanyi Sect.

The four sects each occupied one side, clearly demarcated.

At the head of the table sat Inner Sect Elder Han Song, who was leading the Xuanyi Sect delegation.

His face was hard and cold as iron, and his hawk-like eyes swept across everyone in the hall. Wherever his gaze landed, the Disciples of the various sects lowered their heads, not daring to meet his eyes.

Standing behind him were two Middle Stage Foundation Establishment Elders, one on the left and one on the right, like two gate guardians.

On the left, the people from the Heavenly Sword Sect had already taken their seats.

The leader was a stern-faced middle-aged man named Ding Yuan, who was also at the Peak Foundation Establishment stage. Slung across his back was a jet-black longsword; the scabbard was covered in intricate runes, with Sword Qi faintly circulating around it.

Behind him sat three Early Stage Foundation Establishment Elders, each with a sharp aura, swords hanging at their waists, and eyes like lightning.

On the right, Li Tai of the Qingyun Sect followed. He was at the Late Stage Foundation Establishment, with graying hair, narrow triangular eyes concealing a sharp glint, and a faint, ambiguous smile hanging at the corners of his mouth.

Behind him sat two Middle Stage Foundation Establishment Elders, one man and one woman. The man was silent and reticent, while the woman was beautiful, twisting a string of prayer beads in her hand and muttering something.

The people from the Luoxia Sect sat below the Heavenly Sword Sect.

The leader was a white-haired old woman, the same Granny Bixia who had appeared before. She was at the Late Stage Foundation Establishment and had a kind face.

Behind her sat three female Early Stage Foundation Establishment Cultivators, all beautiful, dressed in light cyan robes, with long swords hanging at their waists, looking heroic and spirited.

Besides them, there were also people from the Longcheng City Lords Mansion.

They sat below the Qingyun Sect.

The leader was a square-faced middle-aged man named City Lord Zhao Kai, who was at the Middle Stage Foundation Establishment.

Finally, there were the young men and women from Shanhe County City. They were low-key and sat below the Luoxia Sect, totaling five people.

The leader was a handsome young man named Xiao Yi, at the Late Stage Foundation Establishment. He wore a white silk robe with a jade belt at his waist, a faint smile on his lips, and his gaze swept over everyone in the hall as if he were examining something interesting.

Standing behind him were two men and two women, all at the Early Stage Foundation Establishment. The men were handsome, the women beautiful, dressed in luxurious clothing with elegant manners; at a glance, they were clearly children of noble families.

"Everyone is here, right?"

Inner Sect Elder Han Song leaned back in his chair, his gaze sweeping over everyone in the hall.

Soon, the hall quieted down, and everyone's eyes fell upon him.

Inner Sect Elder Han Song spoke, his voice hard and cold as iron, carrying an unquestionable majesty: "Since everyone has arrived, I will speak plainly."

"The Secret Realm is managed by the Bai family under the Xuanyi Sect, so it should rightfully be under the control of the Xuanyi Sect."

"To enter the Secret Realm, each family must first pay Spirit Stones—one thousand Low-Grade Spirit Stones per person as the cost for breaking open the Secret Realm. Once the Secret Realm is opened, the Xuanyi Sect will first select thirty percent of the contents, and you can divide the rest among yourselves."

As his voice fell, the hall fell into dead silence.

Ding Yuan of the Heavenly Sword Sect sneered, flicking his finger against his sword hilt, producing a crisp hum. His voice was as cold as shards of ice: "Inner Sect Elder Han Song has quite the appetite."

"Your family wants thirty percent, and you want us to pay one thousand Spirit Stones each? Do you think we are here to deliver money to you?"

Li Tai of the Qingyun Sect stroked his beard, his triangular eyes narrowing into slits, a mocking smile hanging on his lips.

"Inner Sect Elder Han Song, that is not very honorable of you."

"The Secret Realm was discovered by the Bai family, but even they cannot enter it themselves. Without our families working together, could your Xuanyi Sect break open the Secret Realm?"

"And now, before we even enter, you want to collect money and take thirty percent first? Your abacus is certainly clattering loudly."

"Indeed." Granny Bixia of the Luoxia Sect twisted her prayer beads, a flash of sharpness appearing in her cloudy old eyes, her voice faint: "Inner Sect Elder Han Song, this rule is somewhat unreasonable."

The people from the Longcheng City Lords Mansion did not speak; they merely picked up their teacups, blew gently on the tea leaves, took a sip, and showed no expression on their faces.

Inner Sect Elder Han Song's expression darkened, his finger stopped tapping the table, and his voice was as cold as ice shards.

"What? So, in other words, you do not agree?"

To this, Ding Yuan sneered, stood up, placed his hands on the table, and looked down at Inner Sect Elder Han Song, his voice hard and cold as iron.

"What if we don't agree?"

"The location of the Secret Realm is right there. It makes no difference whether the Xuanyi Sect is involved or not."

"If our families join forces to break open the Secret Realm, we can completely kick your Xuanyi Sect out of the game. Or are you saying that your Xuanyi Sect has the ability to contend with all three of us?"

As he finished speaking, the atmosphere in the hall instantly dropped to freezing point.

Everyone's gaze fell upon Inner Sect Elder Han Song, waiting to see how he would respond.

"Heh heh..." Inner Sect Elder Han Song sneered, narrowed his eyes, and raised his right hand. A flash of spiritual light appeared in his palm, and a palm-sized mirror flew out from his sleeve, hovering above his palm.

The mirror was jet-black all over, the surface as smooth as ink, the edges covered in dense golden runes, and the frame inlaid with seven dark red gemstones.

The moment the mirror appeared, a thick Spiritual Pressure surged from it, spreading in all directions like a tide.

"You really shouldn't say that."

Inner Sect Elder Han Song's voice was hoarse and low. His hawk-like eyes swept over everyone in the hall, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly, revealing a cold sneer, "I believe that my Xuanyi Sect has the qualifications!"

Once this mirror appeared, Ding Yuan's eyes shrank sharply, and his hand unconsciously tightened around the hilt of his sword.

City Lord Zhao Kai set down his teacup, his gaze falling on the mirror, and his brows furrowed slightly.

Granny Bixia spoke, her voice low and calm, but every word felt like a stone smashing into the hearts of everyone present: "The xuantian mirror... Your Xuanyi Sect certainly has made a grand gesture."

The cold sneer on Inner Sect Elder Han Song's lips deepened. He held the xuantian mirror in his palm, the golden runes on the surface slowly flowing, and the seven dark red gemstones flickering on and off, as if breathing.

His voice was hoarse and flat, but his tone carried a hint of undisguisable pride.

The xuantian mirror, an Acquired Low Grade Spirit Treasure, contained three Restrictions. When a Foundation Establishment Cultivator activated it with full force, it could release a beam of mirror light specifically designed to break through protective spiritual light; even a Golden Core Early Stage Cultivator would have to avoid its edge.

Seeing this, the hall fell into dead silence.

Ding Yuan was silent for a moment, then spoke, his voice hard and cold as iron, but his tone was softer than before: "The xuantian mirror is strong, but is your Xuanyi Sect certain it wants to be... at mortal odds with us?!"

Inner Sect Elder Han Song put away the xuantian mirror and leaned back in his chair.

"The problem now is that I am stating the conditions, and you are the ones wanting to flip the table!"

Inner Sect Elder Han Song put away the xuantian mirror, "It is still the same conditions as before; I will repeat them once more."

"One thousand Low-Grade Spirit Stones per person, and the Xuanyi Sect will first select thirty percent of the treasures in the Secret Realm."

"You do not agree? Then get out. My Xuanyi Sect will break open the Secret Realm ourselves and go in to scavenge it; we do not need you."
