207: Chapter 207 Black Feather's Rampage

As the words fell, the Black-Maned Wild Boar's offensive was already upon him, the stone hammer smashing down with a whistling wind.

Black Feather did not dodge; his wings snapped open, his Demon Power exploded within him, and a dark purple light enveloped his entire body.

His form expanded within the light. Once his demonic body was fully unfurled, his wings spanned a full three zhang, every feather like an iron-cast blade, sharp enough to cut through the wind.

"Caw!" A sharp crow's cry pierced the twilight.

Black Feather swung both claws simultaneously, their tips wrapped in a layer of dark red blood-light, crossing like two scythes as they slashed toward the stone hammer.

The blood-light collided with the stone hammer, emitting a dull, thunderous boom. A layer of stone shavings was sheared off the hammer by the blood-light, sending debris scattering everywhere.

"Rumble..." The Black-Maned Wild Boar was shaken until his arm went numb, and he nearly dropped the stone hammer.

"You have some strength." Both sides retreated half a step simultaneously.

Black Feather sneered, the blood-light on his claw tips brightening slightly. "You can't even touch my feathers, yet you dare to come out and challenge me?"

The Black-Maned Wild Boar spat out a mouthful of bloody foam and hoisted the stone hammer onto his shoulder. "Stiff-mouthed feathered beast, I'll tear your wings off to go with my liquor later!"

"Then let's see whose is sharper!!!" Before the words had even faded, Black Feather flapped his wings and lunged forward.

His claws flew, the blood-light swirling at their tips. With a "Rip!" sound, another bloody gash was added to the Black-Maned Wild Boar's shoulder, skin and flesh rolling back as blood droplets splattered.

The Black-Maned Wild Boar roared and swung his hammer horizontally. The wind of the hammer, laden with gravel, smashed toward Black Feather. Black Feather performed a side-roll, his wings grazing the hammerhead as he passed; the gravel struck his wings, making crisp popping sounds.

Over at Qingfeng Ravine, Hu Lie crouched by the water pool, his tail sweeping slowly across the ground. After watching for a while, he bellowed at the top of his lungs.

"Black Feather, tear off his left leg! He's slow on that side!"

On the cliff face behind him, the Crow Flock erupted in chaos, a chorus of "Caw, caw, caw" cutting through the twilight like knives.

"Tear him apart! Tear him apart!" "Boss Black Feather, kill that pig!"

The Horned Dragon's side was not to be outdone. Several jackal demons howled at the top of their lungs: "Black-Mane, smash it to death!"

"Brother Pig, don't lose face, the Great King is watching!" An old wolf crouched at the front of the formation, roaring with a hoarse voice. "Black-Mane, you're bleeding from your shoulder; if you drag this out, you're finished!"

The Black-Maned Wild Boar let out a muffled grunt and swung his stone hammer horizontally. Black Feather dodged, and the hammerhead smashed into the ground with a "Boom," creating a large pit and sending gravel flying.

Taking advantage of the gap while he retracted his hammer, Black Feather dove down and clawed into his shoulder, forcefully tearing off a chunk of skin and flesh. Blood sprayed out with a "Puff," splattering over half of Black Feather's body.

The Black-Maned Wild Boar roared in pain and backhanded his hammer toward Black Feather. Black Feather flapped his wings and soared upward, the hammerhead grazing his talons and bringing with it a gust of wind.

Both sides pulled apart again, both panting.

The Black-Maned Wild Boar's shoulder was bloody, and his stone hammer was covered in mud and bits of flesh. He had no fewer than twenty crisscrossing claw marks on his body, panting like an ox pulling a broken cart.

Black Feather's wing also had a gash from the gravel, oozing blood, but his back was held straight. His wings were unfurled, and his dark purple feathers shimmered with blood-light in the twilight.

"Are you still okay?" Hu Lie asked from by the water pool. Black Feather didn't turn his head: "A mere piece of trash, just watch."

"How dare you look down on me!!!" The Black-Maned Wild Boar gasped for air, leaning on his stone hammer to support his body. The blood from his shoulder had soaked through half his body.

He stared at Black Feather, the fierce light in his eyes not fading but growing even stronger, like a wild boar backed into a corner, ready to launch a desperate, fatal charge at any moment.

Black Feather did not give him a chance to catch his breath. He spread his wings, his form rising several zhang, and hovered in the air for a moment. Then, he closed his eyes.

The Demon Power within him surged, and at this moment, the Blood Seal Pagoda within his Meridians was completely activated.

That layer of power he had refined within his body—a power he never easily used on ordinary days—exploded from his Dantian, rushing along his Meridians like a bursting flood, surging toward his limbs and bones.

Blood-light surged from his body; it was not the tentative, superficial blood-light from before, but a heavier, thicker, and more scorching radiance, like molten iron flowing beneath his skin.

Black Feather opened his eyes. His pupils were no longer purple-black; like Wu Li's, they had turned dark red, like congealed blood.

Every feather on his entire body was glowing. The dark purple feathers were soaked through with blood-light, turning dark red, with a golden-red halo shimmering on their edges. The blood-light on his claws swelled several times over, like two red-hot scythes.

"Blood Seal Pagoda: Blood Seal Claw!" Black Feather retracted his wings, his form plummeting from the sky like a dark red meteor.

Both claws reached out simultaneously, carrying all his Demon Power, all his blood-light, and all his pressure, clawing toward the Black-Maned Wild Boar's chest.

The Black-Maned Wild Boar's pupils constricted sharply, and he raised his stone hammer horizontally to block. The claw tips struck the hammer, emitting a piercing, thunderous boom; the hammer split down the middle, and stone debris scattered.

The claw's momentum did not diminish; it pierced through the shattered stone hammer and clawed into the Black-Maned Wild Boar's chest.

"Puff!!!" The blood-light exploded. The bristles on the Black-Maned Wild Boar's chest were blown away by the blood-light, skin and flesh rolled back, revealing the stark white ribs beneath.

Blood gushed from the claw marks like a punctured water bag, a pillar of dark red blood spraying several feet away, splattering onto Black Feather's face, wings, and body.

The Black-Maned Wild Boar's body flew backward as if struck by a mountain, his two-zhang-tall frame flipping half a turn in the air before crashing heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust and gravel.

He struggled on the ground, propping up half his body, but then collapsed back down. Large mouthfuls of blood poured from his mouth, staining the mud beneath him red.

The stone hammer was already shattered, the fragments scattered nearby, covered in blood and mud.

The Crow Flock erupted in earth-shaking screeches. "Caw, caw, caw!" "Boss Black Feather! Boss Black Feather!"

Hu Lie crouched by the water pool, his tail sweeping across the ground, a flash of triumphant light crossing his yellowish-brown pupils.

On the Horned Dragon's side, the demon soldiers' formation showed clear signs of wavering. Several small demons rushed forward.

The Black-Maned Wild Boar was dragged before the Horned Dragon by a few small demons. He lay on the ground, blood gushing from the claw marks on his chest, staining the mud beneath him red.

He propped himself up on one arm, trying to crawl up, but fell back down halfway. Large mouthfuls of bloody foam poured from his mouth, and he raised his head, calling out indistinctly: "Great... Great King..."

The Horned Dragon looked down at him, his dark yellow vertical pupils devoid of any ripples, as if looking at a bone that had been picked clean.

A claw extended from his sleeve, its five fingers slender, the nails as pitch-black as ink, shimmering with a cold light. The Black-Maned Wild Boar's pupils constricted sharply.

The Horned Dragon's claw descended. "Squelch!" The sharp claw reached into the wound on the Black-Maned Wild Boar's chest.

The Black-Maned Wild Boar's body shuddered violently, his mouth agape, wanting to scream but unable to; only a muffled gasping sound squeezed from his throat.

The Horned Dragon's claw fumbled inside his chest cavity for a moment, then yanked violently, pulling out a mass of dark red matter.
