212: Chapter 212 The Defeat of the Horned Dragon

With the help of the small demons, Horned Dragon propped himself up from the ground.

"How painful."

Blood was still dripping from Horned Dragon's back. Most of his dark cyan scales were shattered, revealing the churned flesh and broken bones beneath. Gray-white bone splinters poked out through his skin, and blood flowed down his spine, merging into a thin stream.

He breathed heavily, his dark yellow slit pupils filled with bloodshot veins. He stared at E Kuang, his voice as hoarse as sandpaper grinding against iron.

"E Kuang... you piece of trash, attacking from behind... what kind of skill is that..."

To this, E Kuang laughed aloud. His E Kuangs opened and closed, emitting a dull, clacking sound, like two rusted iron plates rubbing against each other.

"Haha."

"Sneak attack? Horned Dragon, we've been fighting for so many years, and you're talking to me about rules?"

E Kuang tilted his head, his gray-brown scales shimmering with a rust-like light in the twilight.

"Why didn't you talk to me about rules when you occupied East Ridge? Why didn't you talk about rules when you swallowed those few mountain peaks in my territory? Now that you're lying on the ground and can't get up, you're suddenly talking to me about rules?"

Horned Dragon gritted his teeth, wanting to stand steady, but his legs were trembling, and the wound on his back pulled so hard that the veins on his forehead bulged one by one.

He pushed away the small demons supporting him and stood up unsteadily. He opened his right hand at his side, and water vapor condensed in his palm, forming that silver-white long blade.

The blade was cold, but the hand holding it was shaking, and the tip of the blade was shaking too.

E Kuang's smile faded, and a cold light flashed in his iron-gray slit pupils.

"Enough nonsense now, die!"

E Kuang opened his mouth wide, Demon Power gathering in his throat, surging with a dark red light. He lunged directly at Horned Dragon, his gray-brown body like a collapsing iron wall, wrapped in a foul wind as he smashed towards Horned Dragon.

At the same time, an E Kuang phantom emerged from behind him, its giant mouth wide open, fangs interlocking, carrying an oppressive force that could crush everything.

"Damn it!"

Horned Dragon held his blade horizontally to block. The blade collided with the E Kuang phantom, emitting a piercing metallic scraping sound.

His arms bent sharply, and he was pressed down by the immense impact force, causing his knees to buckle, and he half-knelt on the ground.

The phantom did not dissipate; it continued to press down, its fangs biting onto the blade, pushing forward relentlessly.

Horned Dragon's blade was trembling, his wrists were shaking, and blood gushed from the wound on his back, flowing down his waist and abdomen, but the blade did not waver, and he clenched his teeth tightly.

E Kuang's phantom continued to close in; the E Kuangs, like a millstone, pressed down until Horned Dragon's arms gradually bent.

The water vapor on the blade was pressed inch by inch by the dark red Demon Power. Cracks began to spread across the blade's surface, like the fissures that appear on a frozen lake before it thaws in winter. Horned Dragon's knees sank into the gravel, and his fingers on the hilt slowly loosened.

The silver-white long blade split into two halves from the middle, and the broken blade fell to the ground. The phantom's giant mouth bit down, fangs wedging into Horned Dragon's shoulder, blood gushing out and splattering the ground in a dark red stain.

"What are you still standing there stunned for? Protect me!"

Horned Dragon's voice was hoarse and urgent, like the last bit of strength squeezed from the depths of his throat.

As the words fell, the three half-step third-rank generals finally reacted.

"Don't panic, Great King!"

The old wolf rushed out first, his gray-white figure darting along the ground. A low growl was squeezed from his throat, and then his claws, gleaming with cold light, pounced toward E Kuang's flank.

The fox demon circled around from the right, claws spread, revealing three ghostly blue light blades at his fingertips, and screamed: "Fight this iron block to the death!"

The light blades slashed toward the back of E Kuang's neck. The black-maned bear demon charged from the front, his fists wrapped in earthy yellow Demon Power, like two rolling boulders, smashing toward E Kuang's chest, and he roared in a muffled voice: "Get out of the way for me!"

The three demons attacked simultaneously, sealing off E Kuang's upper, middle, and lower paths. E Kuang did not dodge; he didn't even look at them.

It was as if he were shooing away a few annoying flies; he flicked his tail casually. That thick, rust-colored tail swept out, wrapped in a layer of dark red Demon Power, swinging over like an iron pillar.

"Bang!"

"Argh!"

The old wolf was struck in the chest by the tail, let out a muffled groan, and his body flew out like a kite with a broken string, crashing against the stone wall and sliding down, blood gushing from his mouth as he immediately lost his breath.

The situation for the fox demon and the black-maned bear demon was the same; they collided head-on with the tail, their Demon Power rebounded, severely wounding themselves.

"Great King... run..."

E Kuang withdrew his tail, as if nothing had happened, and turned his gaze back to Horned Dragon's position.

Although the three demons were not even a match for a single move from E Kuang, they had indeed bought time for Horned Dragon.

"Roar!"

Horned Dragon let out a furious roar, and dark cyan light exploded from where he stood. After the light dissipated, a cyan dragon several zhang long coiled in mid-air.

The dragon body was covered in fine scales, the wound on his back still oozing blood. The dragon head hung low, and the dark yellow slit pupils were filled with bloodshot veins. He didn't say another word, turned around, and flew toward the east, his speed shockingly fast, passing the mountain pass in the blink of an eye.

Horned Dragon transformed into his true form, his dragon body swaying, his dark cyan scales shimmering with cold light in the twilight. His speed was as fast as a bolt of cyan lightning, having already swept past the mountain pass, and in another breath, he would be able to rush into the mist of Black Water River.

E Kuang's E Kuangs snapped open, dark red Demon Power surging in his throat, and just as he was about to pursue, a voice was faster than him.

"Where do you think you're going!"

Wu Li narrowed his eyes at this. Reasonably and rightfully, he could not let that Horned Dragon leave.

At this moment, Wu Li stood up from the edge of the pool, raised his right claw, and a blood-red mark appeared in his palm.

"Blood Seal Curse!"

The blood-red mark appeared in Wu Li's palm, like an opened eye, with fine patterns flowing inside, emitting a scarlet light originating from the same source as Blood Pupil.

"Boom!"

Wu Li clenched his five fingers tightly, and the blood mark in his palm shattered instantly. With a crisp crack, the shattered light turned into a ripple and spread in all directions.

"Hum!"

Horned Dragon's body stiffened abruptly, as if his Meridians had been bitten by something from the inside.

"What Divine Ability is this!"

Horned Dragon raised his dragon head abruptly, a flash of confusion in his dark yellow slit pupils, which immediately turned into terror. The Qi and blood inside his body were like they had been ignited, surging wildly along his Meridians. His Demon Power was churning, rampaging, and spiraling out of control, as if something was stirring it from within.

Subsequently, the Qi and blood at his wounds surged and sprayed out, stretching into a thin, long line of blood in the air. Blown by the wind, it scattered into a fine mist of blood, falling onto the rocks and vegetation below. Looking from afar, it was like a dark red rain falling from the sky, drenching the entire hillside.

"Good move!"

E Kuang looked at Wu Li, a flash of surprise in his eyes.

"Roar!"

Under these circumstances, Horned Dragon could finally no longer hold on. His dragon body tilted, he plummeted from mid-air, crashing into a thicket of bushes outside the mountain pass, snapping several tree trunks as thick as a bowl, and kicking up a cloud of dust.

He was on the verge of death...
