201: Chapter 201 Tiger Leopard Enters the Third Rank

Facing the aura Wu Li released casually, the Pig-headed Great Demon's face had already turned pale. He stared at Wu Li, his murky pig eyes filled with apprehension.

Due to the Blood Fiend Primal Wheel, the aura on Wu Li's body was more terrifying than any Yao Race he had ever seen; he couldn't even tell which step of the Third Stage Wu Li's cultivation had reached.

"You... what are you..."

Wu Li did not let him finish, his internal Demon Power condensing rapidly.

"Considering you have some use."

Wu Li's voice was very flat as he slowly raised his hand.

"I will give you a quick death."

The Pig-headed Great Demon's pupils shrank violently. Without the slightest hesitation, he turned around, transformed into his wild boar true form, and fled frantically.

"Hng-hng~"

His speed was astonishing; his four hooves flew, each step spanning several zhang as he sprinted toward the depths of the mountain path.

The dozen or so minor demons behind him were stunned for a moment, then screamed and fled in all directions; the captured Human Race Cultivators fell to the ground, ignored by everyone.

Wu Li did not pursue.

He raised his right claw, a point of grayish-red light condensing at his fingertip. With a flick of his finger, that point of light shot out, fast as lightning, silent and traceless, carving a red line as thin as a hair through the air.

"Puchi!!!"

The light caught up to the Pig-headed Great Demon, piercing through his back and out his chest.

The Pig-headed Great Demon's running form stiffened abruptly, his mouth agape, eyes wide, his limbs still maintaining the running posture, but he could no longer move.

A gust of wind blew by, and his body split down the middle, separating into two halves that fell to the left and right. Blood sprayed everywhere, staining the stone slabs of the mountain path red.

Wu Li withdrew his gaze and swept his eyes over the minor demons fleeing in all directions.

Some had already run dozens of zhang away, some were trembling behind bushes, and some were kneeling on the ground, kowtowing and begging for mercy.

"Kill."

Wu Li's words fell.

"Ga-ga-ga~"

Heida was the first to move.

His inky purple figure shot into the wolf pack like a sharp arrow. With claws rising and falling, the head of a jackal demon flew off, blood spraying three feet high.

Heier followed closely behind, cutting in from the side; two fox demons had their throats torn open before they could even react.

Bai Chi's bone blade danced through the demon pack; with every flash of the blade, a head fell to the ground, his gray pupils devoid of any emotion.

Heishan revealed his demon body, like a moving iron tower. He smashed the spine of a wolf demon with one punch, then reached out and grabbed another by the neck, twisting it gently with a crack.

The dozen or so minor demons were completely wiped out in less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea.

Corpses lay scattered on the ground, blood staining the mountain path dark red.

Wu Li did not look at the corpses.

He walked to the Pig-headed Great Demon's corpse, squatted down, and reached his right claw into the abdominal cavity. After fumbling for a moment, he pulled out a fist-sized Demon Core.

The Demon Core was dark red, its surface smooth, with fine patterns flowing inside, emitting a dense fluctuation of Demon Power.

A Third Stage Early Stage Demon Core; the quality was not bad.

Wu Li stood up and clenched his palm.

The Demon Core cracked in his palm, and dark red light surged from the cracks, transforming into a stream of pure Demon Power.

He did not hold back. With a wave of his right claw, that Demon Power turned into a dark red beam of light, striking directly into Tiger Biao's body.

Tiger Biao's body trembled violently, a low tiger roar escaping his mouth. His aura surged again, and the cracks on the Bottleneck were now as numerous as a spider web.

Wu Li did not stop.

He turned and walked toward the bound Human Race Cultivators; there were seven in total, four still alive, three already breathless.

The four who were still alive huddled by the roadside, trembling all over, their faces deathly pale. Watching him approach, they made garbled pleas for mercy.

"Don't kill me..."

"Don't..."

Wu Li did not listen to them.

With a wave of his claw, a streak of grayish-red Evil Qi swept across. Four heads fell simultaneously, and the corpses collapsed limply.

Blood surged from the severed necks, merging into a thin dark red stream.

Wu Li squatted down, reached his right claw into the chest of one of the corpses, extracted the remaining essence blood from the Meridians, and poured it into Tiger Biao.

Then the second, the third, the fourth.

The four corpses were completely drained of essence blood. The Demon Power inside Tiger Biao burned frantically as if ignited; the Bottleneck could finally no longer hold.

A tiger roar exploded from Tiger Biao's mouth, the sound wave like thunder, shaking the gravel on both sides of the mountain path until it danced.

A layer of blood-colored light suffused his yellow and black fur, and his aura leapt abruptly from Half-step Third Stage to Third Stage Early Stage, surging out like a burst flood, forcing Heida and the other demons standing nearby to retreat two steps.

Tiger Biao stood up and shook his fur.

He lowered his head to look at his claws; the tips were half an inch longer than before, gleaming with a brighter cold light.

He clenched his fists, his joints creaking, his whole body filled with inexhaustible strength.

"I've achieved a Breakthrough!"

Tiger Biao turned his head to look at Wu Li, his yellowish-brown pupils filled with respect.

"Old Ancestor..."

Wu Li did not turn back: "It is good that you have achieved a Breakthrough."

Tiger Biao stood in place, looking down at his claws, then clenched his fists again, feeling the brand-new power within him.

The Third Stage Early Stage Demon Power surged through his Meridians, thick and steady, no longer feeling stifled, stuck, or unable to exert force like when he was Half-step Third Stage.

He raised his head, a glimmer of light flashing in his yellowish-brown pupils.

"Old Ancestor, I see that Hei Yu and the others all have names. Now that I have also achieved a Breakthrough, please give me a name as well."

Wu Li was squatting on a rock, his blood-red pupils sweeping over him.

He was silent for two breaths, then spoke.

"You followed all the way from Taiyue Mountain, which shows some courage. You shall be called Hu Lie."

Hu Lie was stunned for a moment, then grinned, revealing a mouthful of fangs.

He didn't say any words of thanks; he simply stood straight, lowered his head, and bowed to Wu Li.

Wu Li did not look at him; his gaze had already turned to the hazy mountain ridge in the distance.

The Crow Flock flew back from all directions, landing on the hillsides, rocks, and tree branches, a black mass. Hei Yu returned last, folding his wings and landing beside Wu Li, a trace of gravity in his purplish-black pupils.

"Old Ancestor, while we were killing these minor demons, we discovered that there seems to be a demon nest a hundred li away from here; this area should have an owner."

Hei Yu's voice was very low.

Wu Li nodded, his blood-red pupils still staring into the distance.

"My Blood Pupil has already scouted it. The Horned Dragon King that those minor demons were calling out before they died is no fiction. A hundred li to the north, there is a tributary of a large river. The water Qi is very heavy, and Demonic Qi is entrenched there; there is a Third Stage Peak water dragon."

After listening, Hei Yu was silent for a moment, then asked: "Then Old Ancestor, what should we do next? Should we first find out the details of that water dragon?"

Wu Li shook his head, stood up from the rock, and his blood-red pupils swept over the surrounding mountain terrain.

"Ignore it for now. Let's find a place to settle down first."

Hei Yu nodded and turned to arrange for the Crow Flock to search separately.

Hu Lie squatted to the side, standing beside Wu Li like a Protector.

Afterward.

Wu Li led the Crow Flock around the mountain range for most of the day.

This mountain range looked large, but there were not many places suitable for living.

Either it was too exposed and easy to be discovered, too narrow to hold the Crow Flock, or there was residual Demonic Qi nearby.
