110: Chapter 110: Syria is the best breakthrough point.
After a few days of consideration, General Faraj felt that Syria could no longer remain in a state of passive defense and needed to launch an active offensive.
However, with only the Tianlei Series Anti-Aircraft Missile, the various light weapons they currently possessed, and a small number of armored vehicles, it was completely impossible to launch an active offensive.
Even if they were to procure another batch of Sky Arrow anti-tank missiles and Tianlong Series UAVs, the problem of having a single method of attack would still persist.
Syria needed more weaponry and equipment, especially land armored vehicles, which should be heavily supplemented. As for light weapons, securing a batch of aid from Iran should be enough.
Considering that Chaos Company had recently launched the Sky Arrow anti-tank missile for sale, General Faraj couldn't help but wonder if Chaos Company might also have armored vehicles available for sale.
As for air force equipment, including fighter jets, bombers, and the like, General Faraj dared not even dream of it.
The main reason was that the Syrian army simply didn't have enough pilots to equip fighter jets and bombers. And the idea of training pilots now was simply impossible.
For one, it would take a long time; second, no country would spend a great deal of effort helping Syria train pilots; and third, Syria currently lacked the conditions to train pilots at all.
Syria could only rely on the Tianlei Series Anti-Aircraft Missile to conduct air defense operations and ensure that the USA's fighter jets did not fly over Syrian airspace to bomb at will.
Coupled with the procurement of a batch of Tianlong Series UAVs, they could barely maintain Syria's air superiority. Unless the USA deployed a large number of fighter jets to Syria, Syria could still maintain a certain degree of air superiority when facing only the USA's garrison in Syria and the Opposition Armed Forces they supported.
After clarifying his thoughts, General Faraj immediately contacted Major General Zaha.
"Major General Zaha, didn't the arms dealer launch the Sky Arrow series anti-tank missile? Can you contact the arms dealer and see if they have any armored vehicles for sale?" General Faraj stated his idea directly.
"Are we planning to procure the Sky Arrow series anti-tank missiles?" Major General Zaha asked, confused.
"We are considering procuring a batch, but having only anti-tank missiles won't be enough."
"I see. Then I'll ask the arms dealer." Major General Zaha naturally hoped his own troops could also be equipped with more armored vehicles.
If Syria were to procure them, it was obvious that they would prioritize supplementing the troops in areas like Zarzur that directly faced the USA.
Major General Zaha contacted Li Yi very proactively and asked right away, "Do you sell armored vehicles now? Since you've sold the Sky Arrow series anti-tank missiles, you should also have armored vehicles for sale, right?"
Li Yi felt it was strange and asked, "Does Syria have procurement funds again now?"
Major General Zaha dodged the question and said, "We have the intention to procure, but we want to understand the situation first."
"We do have armored vehicles. I'll send you the information on the tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery available for sale later." Li Yi had already unlocked new armored vehicles from the Multiverse Arms Trading System, but he hadn't yet looked closely at their performance.
"Fine, if the combat performance is excellent, Syria will procure a large amount." Major General Zaha wrote a blank check.
After Li Yi hung up the phone with Major General Zaha, he began to check the newly unlocked armored vehicles from the Multiverse Arms Trading System. There were six models of newly unlocked armored vehicles.
The first model was the Fierce Rhino Type II tank.
The tank had a total weight of 40 tons, armor thickness equivalent to 380mm homogeneous armor, a cross-country speed of 30 km/h, a maximum speed of 60 km/h, and a maximum range of 600 km.
It was equipped with a 105mm rifled gun, 35 rounds of ammunition, a muzzle velocity of 1000 m/s, an armor-piercing capability of 550mm at a distance of 2000 meters, two coaxial machine guns, one anti-aircraft machine gun, 3500 rounds of machine gun ammunition, and used an automatic tracking fire control system.
This tank could already be considered a second-generation tank; it had a relatively long range, strong armor-piercing capability, and was much higher in combat performance than the Fierce Rhino Type I tank.
The second model was the Fierce Rhino Type III tank.
The tank had a total weight of 50 tons, armor thickness equivalent to 550mm homogeneous armor, a cross-country speed of 35 km/h, a maximum speed of 65 km/h, and a maximum range of 650 km.
It was equipped with a 120mm smoothbore gun, 40 rounds of ammunition, a muzzle velocity of 1200 m/s, an armor-piercing capability of 680mm at a distance of 2000 meters, two coaxial machine guns, one anti-aircraft machine gun, 4000 rounds of ammunition, and used an automatic tracking fire control system and an integrated aiming and guidance fire control system.
This tank was relatively light among third-generation tanks, but its armor-piercing capability was not inferior, and it possessed decent armor protection capabilities.
The third model was the Fierce Tiger Type II armored vehicle.
It was an armored personnel carrier with a total weight of 14.8 tons, a total length of 6.8 meters, a cross-country speed of 50 km/h, a maximum speed of 65 km/h, and a maximum range of 550 km. It was equipped with a smoothbore gun, an anti-tank missile launcher, and an anti-aircraft/ground machine gun.
As an armored transport vehicle, this armored vehicle had a relatively long range and decent defensive capabilities, allowing it to cooperate well with infantry in combat.
The fourth model was the Fierce Tiger Type III armored vehicle.
It was an armored personnel carrier with a total weight of 17.5 tons, a total length of 7.2 meters, a cross-country speed of 55 km/h, a maximum speed of 70 km/h, and a maximum range of 600 km. It was equipped with a smoothbore gun, an integrated aiming and guidance fire control system, an autocannon, an anti-tank missile launcher, and an anti-aircraft/ground machine gun.
This armored vehicle had significant improvements over the Fierce Tiger Type II armored vehicle, with more passenger space, stronger anti-armor firepower, and a wider range of applications.
The fifth model was the Fierce Lion Type II artillery.
It was a self-propelled gun with a caliber of 122mm, a total weight of 16.5 tons, 35 rounds of ammunition, a minimum range of 3500 meters, a maximum range of 32,000 meters, a maximum speed of 55 km/h, a maximum range of 400 km, and was equipped with one anti-aircraft/ground machine gun.
As a self-propelled gun, this artillery had a longer range than the Fierce Lion Type I artillery, could move quickly, had a shorter reaction time, and possessed stronger battlefield survivability.
The sixth model was the Fierce Lion Type III artillery.
It was a self-propelled gun with a caliber of 155mm, a total weight of 25 tons, 40 rounds of ammunition, a minimum range of 4000 meters, a maximum range of 40,000 meters, a maximum speed of 60 km/h, a maximum range of 500 km, and was equipped with one anti-aircraft/ground machine gun.
This artillery possessed stronger combat performance, more intense firepower, stronger defensive capabilities, and better artillery precision, allowing it to better suppress and strike enemy targets.
After reading through it, Li Yi felt that he should push these armored vehicles to the market. Syria was the best breakthrough point.
As long as Syria equipped them and they performed well on the battlefield, it should be able to attract more countries to make procurements.
