243: Chapter 343 is no less than falling into utter despair.

Major General Faye had actually provided the "Eagle" series jet multi-role fighters and "War Tiger" series jet bombers offered by Li Yi to the high-ranking military officials of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia had previously received two units each of the "Eagle" Type III jet multi-role fighter and the "War Tiger" Type II jet bomber.

Major General Faye was quite optimistic about these two types of fighters; although their combat performance was slightly dated, they were superior in terms of ease of operation.

However, since Saudi Arabia was already equipped with many combat aircraft—over a hundred more than Iran—and their combat performance was relatively advanced, they did not have a gap so large it was absurd compared to the world's most advanced fighters.

Furthermore, Saudi Arabia had already purchased many Tianlei Series Anti-Aircraft Missiles and various armored vehicles, consuming a lot of oil and natural gas. Additionally, a large proportion of the Anti-Judea Coalition's arms purchases were paid for with oil and natural gas provided by Saudi Arabia.

Therefore, even though Saudi Arabia was a major global producer and exporter of oil and natural gas, it could not continue to make massive purchases with them. After some consideration, Saudi Arabia temporarily abandoned its plan to purchase the "Eagle" series jet multi-role fighters and the "War Tiger" series jet bombers.

Major General Faye regretted this, as several of those fighter models were much better than the aircraft currently in service with the Saudi Arabian Air Force. However, without a purchase, there was no way to equip them, so he could only let the matter rest.

Major General Faye was now more concerned with the combat operations of the Aqaba Front Command. Following a series of battles between the Anti-Judea Coalition and Israel, the coalition had reclaimed a large amount of territory, compressing the Israeli military into the central region of Palestine.

The northern and southern regions originally occupied by Israel were all reclaimed after the victories. The Anti-Judea Coalition had surrounded the Israeli military from the east, north, and south; they only needed to continue compressing the Israeli positions, and the final victory would belong to the coalition.

After the Anti-Judea Coalition issued its navigation warning orders, Israel's ability to obtain military aid was significantly weakened. No large transport aircraft dared to land at Israeli airports, and no large transport vessels entered Israeli seaports.

Only some small and medium-sized vessels snuck back and forth between Europe and Israel, or a few small aircraft entered Israel. This caused the difficulty of obtaining supplies for Israel to rise sharply.

Israel's military enterprises had basically ceased organized production because raw materials and core components could essentially not be shipped in. Even if they were, they were prioritized for repairing military equipment. It was simply impossible to produce new weapons and equipment.

As the Israeli military could neither obtain large-scale military aid from the outside nor get equipment replenishment from domestic military enterprises, it was foreseeable that weapons and ammunition could not be replaced once consumed.

This led to a downward trend in the combat capability of the Israeli military once again. They were originally a force intended for security operations, and their combat effectiveness was already problematic; now, the supply of weapons and ammunition was also insufficient. They could basically only fight defensively and had even lost the ability to organize an offensive.

For Israel, this was no less than falling into complete despair. General Gadi was extremely anxious. On one hand, he urged all units to fight actively and not be intimidated by difficulties; on the other hand, he incited the Pro-Israel Capitalist Lobby in the USA to increase pressure, warning that if the USA did not act soon, Israel would be completely gone.

The Pro-Israel Capitalist Lobby was naturally unwilling to see the country established by their ancestors—who had used their plight to garner sympathy—face the same fate of destruction as it did over two thousand years ago.

They could only continue to wave their cash to lobby high-ranking officials in the US government, pressuring the United States Department of Defense to take a more active stance and intervene in the Israeli theater.

To create the illusion that everyone in the USA supported Israel, the Pro-Israel Capitalist Lobby directly manufactured a large amount of fake news and misinformation, inciting people in the USA to hold demonstrations in support of Israel. They even directly brandished cash to hire people to protest, attempting to pressure the United States Department of Defense through these marches.

At the same time, the Pro-Israel Capitalist Lobby threw money at various military contractors and mercenary organizations to encourage them to risk their lives in Israel. Although a certain percentage of deposit would be paid, if these people died in Israel, they could default on the final balance.

The full mobilization of the Pro-Israel Capitalist Lobby did indeed bring some positive results. Military contractors who had already sent people to Israel saw large sums of money coming in; whether through deception or bribery, they encouraged a group of people to set out from Europe via speedboats to join the Israeli battlefield.

This more or less strengthened the Israeli military's power. However, General Gadi was still not satisfied, as this was just a drop in the bucket and far from enough to cover the consumption across various battlefields.

After being pressured by the government, the United States Department of Defense, even if it did not dare to openly enter the Israeli battlefield, still allowed the Central Theater Command and the European Theater Command to use high-pay recruitment internally to persuade some officers and soldiers to go to the Israeli battlefield.

Originally, some officers and soldiers of the US military had joined for the money; upon learning of the opportunity to earn high rewards, they naturally would not pass it up and agreed to go to the Israeli battlefield without much consideration.

Of course, the United States Department of Defense would not spend its own money to hire these people to go to Israel; the ultimate source of funding was still the Pro-Israel Capitalist Lobby. However, the generals of the United States Department of Defense and these two theater commands made a significant profit during this process, with only a portion of the money reaching the hands of the officers and soldiers who actually went to the Israeli battlefield.

But those who went to the Israeli battlefield voluntarily were still a minority after all; they could not form a significant scale and fell far short of meeting the Israeli military's requirements for the number of combat personnel.

To fill the manpower gap in the military more quickly, General Gadi directly ordered the start of forced conscription among the jewish people. As long as their age did not exceed the service limit, regardless of gender, everyone needed to register and be ready to be deployed into the war at any time.

After this round of forced conscription, the Israeli military recruited over 200,000 more personnel to fill various battlefields. However, there was one problem: Israel's weapons and equipment were already insufficient, and many people could not even be equipped with light weapons.

Heavy weaponry was also in severe shortage, and the situation where there were more people than equipment became increasingly serious. If this continues, Israel may not even be able to maintain its final stubborn resistance.

Furthermore, the personnel conscripted later had insufficient military training and found it difficult to quickly adapt to the use of heavy equipment; it is hard to say how much combat effectiveness they can provide.
