27: Chapter 27 Precisely Hitting the Unmanned Target Drill

After the officers and soldiers from two Iranian battalions arrived at the storage site for the Tianlei Series Anti-Aircraft Missiles, they immediately saw various models of anti-aircraft missiles neatly arranged.

After inspecting the area, the battalion commander saw no one and assumed that the people from the arms dealer, Chaos Company, had already left, so he ordered a count.

He had a high-speed Unmanned Target Drone brought out from the military base and immediately ordered the Operators to launch it and prepare for evasive maneuvers.

When the target drone reached a medium altitude of 3,000 meters and a distance of over 6,000 meters, it was no longer visible to the naked eye.

Haidari operated the Tianlei Type I Anti-Aircraft Missile to immediately scan for the drone's position. A few seconds later, he locked onto it and, without hesitation, pulled the trigger to launch the missile.

With a soft "whoosh," the anti-aircraft missile left the launch tube and lunged straight toward the drone.

Upon detecting the lock-on, the drone immediately performed maneuvers, climbing in altitude and increasing its speed in an attempt to escape its fate.

However, before the drone could make any effective maneuvers, the entire night sky suddenly flashed, and with the sound of an explosion, it turned into numerous fragments.

Looking at the fire from the explosion in the distance, Haidari instinctively knew the drone was finished, but he still asked the nearby Operator, "Was the drone shot down?"

The Operator looked at the drone disappearing from the screen in a daze and said, "It was shot down. It was too fast; there was no way to maneuver at all."

Haidari suddenly clenched his fists and gave a wave. "It seems these anti-aircraft missiles sold by Chaos Company are indeed impressive."

Unable to contain the excitement on his face, Haidari wanted to hug someone or let it all out, but now was not the time.

After ordering the battalion commander to lead the soldiers in storing the Tianlei Series Anti-Aircraft Missiles, Haidari saw that dawn was approaching and prepared to report the situation to Major General Rahim immediately.

Major General Rahim already knew that the first batch of Tianlei Series Anti-Aircraft Missiles would be delivered tonight, so he was also waiting for news in his office.

When Lieutenant Colonel Haidari arrived at Major General Rahim's office, the general was walking out with bleary eyes.

"The Tianlei Series Anti-Aircraft Missiles are indeed excellent. The Tianlei Type I Anti-Aircraft Missile we just tested was able to hit a target over 6,000 meters away and above 3,000 meters in altitude with a single shot. The drone didn't even have time to react."

"It can hit a target above 3,000 meters from a launch distance of over 6,000 meters?" Major General Rahim was somewhat skeptical.

"Yes. Just one missile hit the target; the drone couldn't even perform effective maneuvers. If we were equipped with a large number of Tianlei Type I Anti-Aircraft Missiles, the enemy's helicopters wouldn't dare approach our positions."

"The quantity isn't much. Once they're delivered, deploy them all to the troops near the Glass House as well. We must make the protection of the Glass House airtight. Two batches of missiles should be enough for the defense of the Glass House. The third batch will be assigned to the troops stationed in southern Syria, making it their priority to defend against Israeli fighter jets."

Major General Rahim didn't think too much and made the arrangements immediately.

Lieutenant Colonel Haidari then asked, "What should we do with the phased-out anti-aircraft missiles?"

"Didn't we use Syria's oil reserves? We'll give these phased-out anti-aircraft missiles to Syria and let them enhance their own air defense capabilities."

Major General Rahim remembered what Haidari had reported to him—that a batch of anti-aircraft missiles would be delivered to Syria in exchange for using Syria's oil reserves.

After Syria receives this batch of anti-aircraft missiles, they should be even more cooperative with Haidari's use of their oil reserves.
