219: Chapter 219 Unleashes a Full-Scale Bombardment of the Kingdom of Judah
More and more atrocities committed by Israel were exposed to the world, and even more original sins from the founding of Israel were dug up, causing a sudden reversal in public opinion.
Many people who had previously sympathized with Israel changed their views and began to condemn it.
Israel panicked upon seeing this situation, resorting to unscrupulous means to use media controlled by Jewish capital to whitewash its image, even going so far as to fabricate various fake news stories to smear Palestine and portray Israel as a tragic figure.
However, these actions were quickly exposed, further worsening Israel's image.
Israel could only use the power of Jewish capital and money to manipulate public opinion and condemn those who opposed it, in a vain attempt to reverse the unfavorable situation.
To exert more deterrent power, they directly published lists of people who opposed Israel and banned those who supported Palestine, attempting to threaten the world into turning a blind eye to Israel's atrocities.
Yet, such increasingly crude and brutal behavior only made the world more disgusted with Israel, leading to a situation where everyone was calling for it to be attacked.
The negotiations between the Persian Gulf Regional Cooperation Organization and Israel, conducted through a third party, did not go smoothly; the conditions of both sides had absolutely no common ground, and the differences were significant.
After several fruitless negotiations, neither side had any intention of continuing the talks.
Israel had already occupied a lot of Palestinian territory, and now, expecting them to withdraw from these territories was simply impossible.
Furthermore, Israel still wanted to control even more territory, so how could they possibly reach an agreement with the Persian Gulf Regional Cooperation Organization?
After the negotiations failed, the Persian Gulf Regional Cooperation Organization relayed the news to countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran, quickly authorizing the Anti-Judea Coalition to launch an offensive against Israel until the final conditions were met before ceasing fire.
The Anti-Israel Coalition Joint Command, seeing that the reorganization of troops at each front command was basically complete, immediately ordered the launch of an offensive against Israel to disarm it and completely destroy its ability to resist.
The Golan Heights Front Command, the Aqaba Front Command, and others ordered various Mechanized Infantry Brigades to use the "Fierce Lion" series Artillery to carry out a comprehensive bombardment of the defensive fortifications and military facilities built along the Israeli border, with the Golan Heights being a key target area for the bombardment.
As a defensive position that Israel had prioritized building, Israel had constructed many fortifications in the Golan Heights.
If they wanted to enter Israeli territory, these fortifications had to be completely destroyed; otherwise, the offensive would face significant obstacles.
The range of the "Fierce Lion" series Artillery reached a minimum of 32 kilometers and a maximum of 50 kilometers, basically covering half of Israel's territory.
The Anti-Judea Coalition deployed 1,200 artillery pieces for the bombardment, and all four front commands launched bombardment operations.
Basically, more than 5,000 shells hit Israeli defensive positions every day, reaching up to 10,000 shells at the peak.
Suddenly, from north to south and east to west, all of Israel's military facilities and defensive positions were shrouded in artillery fire.
Such shelling continued for half a month before gradually weakening, but at least 3,000 shells were still being fired into Israeli territory every day.
Israel also launched a counterattack; it possessed more than 1,500 pieces of towed artillery, self-propelled artillery, and multiple rocket launchers, and in this artillery battle of over half a month, it directly deployed more than half of them into combat.
Every day, amidst the rumbling artillery battle, both sides suffered significant losses of artillery.
The Anti-Israel Coalition directly lost over 800 artillery pieces, and Israel's losses were about the same.
Fortunately, the Anti-Judea Coalition possessed 3,000 "Fierce Lion" series Artillery pieces, so even with such heavy losses, its overall strength was not significantly weakened, allowing it to continue trading blows with Israel in a war of attrition.
It was just that the consumption of shells was quite high; over 120,000 shells had already been used, and fewer than 80,000 shells remained.
If the artillery battle were to continue, the Anti-Judea Coalition would have to procure more shells.
The shells consumed by Israel were likely not small either; in the early stages, they fought back and forth, but after half a month, the number of shells used in their counterattacks had decreased significantly.
Meanwhile, the use of drones, fighter jets, and anti-aircraft missiles by both sides entered a white-hot state.
The Anti-Judea Coalition launched over 800 sorties of "Tianlong" Series UAVs every day, with about 150 drones used in a single batch.
They not only used the "Tianlong" Series UAVs to conduct more comprehensive reconnaissance of Israel, but also bombed various military facilities deployed by Israel and carried out targeted strikes on Israeli government institutions, weakening Israel's mobilization capability.
The Israeli military deployed various fighter jets and air defense battalions to intercept them.
Over 300 fighter jets, including F-15s and F-16s, participated in the combat, which amounted to more than half of all Israel's air force fighter jets.
15 air defense battalions were also utilized, with the vast majority of air defense battalions committed to anti-aircraft operations.
Both sides engaged in fierce battles over Israeli airspace; every day there were reports of drones crashing, and every day there were sounds of explosions.
Neither side let up in such battles, striving to do their utmost to inflict damage on the other.
In this air war of over half a month, the Anti-Judea Coalition directly lost 1,200 "Tianlong" Series UAVs, with the consumption of supporting air-to-ground missiles exceeding 20,000 and bombs exceeding 80,000.
Such a consumption volume could be said to be very large.
To cope with Israel's counterattacks using fighter jets and drones, the Anti-Judea Coalition also consumed a large number of "Tianlei" Series Anti-Aircraft Missiles; "Tianlei" Type III and Type IV anti-aircraft missiles were all put into air defense, but sometimes lapses still occurred.
In one instance, during a bombing organized by Israel against Saudi Arabia, 30 fighter jets and hundreds of military drones were dispatched at once, suddenly breaking through the Anti-Judea Coalition's air defense network.
Fortunately, the "Tianlei" Missile Defense System activated by Saudi Arabia timely detected the incoming Israeli fighter jets, fired over a hundred "Tianlei" Series Anti-Aircraft Missiles, and shot down all the invading Israeli fighter jets, which prevented Israel from bombing cities within Saudi Arabia.
Of course, Israel also launched quite a few missiles to sneak-attack countries in the Persian Gulf region, but under the timely dispatch and interception of the "Tianlei" Missile Defense System, most did not succeed, with only a small number breaking through the Anti-Judea Coalition's air defense network.
The missiles flying toward Saudi Arabia and Syria were all intercepted, while the missiles flying toward Lebanon and Egypt were not all intercepted, causing some losses in those two countries, but such losses were still within a controllable range.
As the "Tianlei" Missile Defense System was used more and more frequently, the consequence was a sharp increase in the consumption of supporting missiles, with nearly half of the missile inventory having been used.
