133: Players finally understand the benefits of the sect

PVP, which is player versus player combat, doesn't require a reason, or even rewards. Sometimes, it doesn't even need a specific occasion; often, a few players will inexplicably start fighting, and then all the players on the server will gather and engage in a chaotic brawl.

It could be over Compete for leveling points, FightBOSS First kill, or Fight某个活动奖励, or simply because someone's fingers were itching and they accidentally cast a skill... Some players dislike inexplicable PVP, but others enjoy it greatly.

And those who love PVP the most are naturally the cheaters, who particularly enjoy the thrill of crushing other players.

The Xuanhuan World is different from other online games; it has no external hacks. Yet, it creates something even more significant than hacking disparities between players: cultivation Realms.

Players with strong cultivation have unparalleled advantages: thick health bars, high movement speed, strong attack power, capable of one-shotting opponents.

Therefore, those players who usually dislike PVP immediately fall in love with it once they obtain an Opportunity and Breakthrough their Realm.

Crimson Purple was quite good-natured; this time, she merely expelled the Great Love Alliance players, not killing them for their equipment. But her other players were all stunned at this moment.

“Damn, how did the boss just drive the Great Love Alliance people away?”

“What boss? Call her Sect Master, understand?”

“From now on, we are the Purple Qi Sect with an Immortal Foundation overseeing us; it's not the same as before!”

“When we go out, we can hold our heads high, after all, we have an Immortal Foundation backing us!”

“Good heavens, this is only an Immortal Foundation. What would it be like to achieve Core Formation or Golden Core?”

“No wonder the Outstanding Talents of the Three Great Sects act so arrogantly; having a powerful backing is truly satisfying!”

One by one, the Purple Qi Sect players suddenly realized that their status was no longer the same.

Although they were still just Qi Refining Cultivators, their leader had achieved Immortal Foundation. From now on, no matter what they did, the opposing party would have to consider this Immortal Foundation.

And anything that an Immortal Foundation could handle was not an issue.

Even if the opponent was the Great Love Alliance, whose top combat power couldn't surpass Crimson Purple, they would likely have to accept this loss and had no way to retaliate.

At this moment, all Purple Qi Sect players felt an unprecedented sense of honor surge within them; they finally understood what a Sect meant at this moment.

When Crimson Purple spoke, asking everyone to quickly construct the Purple Qi Sect buildings, everyone was filled with enthusiasm... Meanwhile, on the other side, the Great Love Alliance.

Players in the Xuanhuan World have many advantages over native NPCs, one of which is convenient communication functions, even allowing for real-time virtual meetings, which is how several previous meetings were held.

As a result, the news of the Purple Qi Sect seizing the Spirit Peak reached the Alliance's high-ranking officials immediately.

Initially, Old Potato and others were furious. Even if the Great Love Alliance couldn't compare to professional clubs, it was still the top organization among players. How could it be bullied by some Purple Qi Sect that appeared out of nowhere?

But after hearing that the opposing party had an Immortal Foundation Expert, everyone fell silent.

Although Immortal Foundation and Mortal Foundation are both considered Foundation Establishment, the gap between them is enormous. A newly achieved early-stage Immortal Foundation can directly defeat a Late Stage Mortal Foundation against the odds. Moreover, different Immortal Foundations have different powers; some powerful Immortal Foundations can even fight dozens of Mortal Foundations simultaneously.

Recalling how Yan Xiao had previously decisively defeated numerous Mortal Foundation Cultivator and crushed hundreds of Qi Refining Cultivators like insects, Old Potato and others' gazes dimmed. Sometimes, the disparity in cultivation and combat power truly cannot be compensated for by numbers.

“Therefore, we must have our own Immortal Foundation Experts, and even our own Golden Core Experts.”

Amidst everyone's dimmed gazes, Midnight Gao Sou, as if having made a decision, spoke solemnly: “Let's ignore the Purple Qi Sect for now. We are all players, and we can tell outsiders that harmony brings wealth. We'll let them have that Spirit Peak, and other sub-Sect locations can also be conceded as usual, because our current focus isn't on sub-Sects, but on the main Sect.”

The Great Love Alliance had too many members, and their scattered areas were too vast. So, from the beginning, they established both main and sub-Sects simultaneously, which somewhat dispersed their strength.

At this moment, Midnight Gao Sou's eyes were extremely profound: “I have already set up the Spirit Gathering Array for the main Sect. Those who chose talent-type Golden Finger can go in to cultivate. I myself possess a complete Golden Core Legacy and will also cultivate in the main position, which I have mentioned to everyone before.”

The others nodded, not refuting him.

Although Midnight Gao Sou's Golden Finger wasn't particularly strong, it was, after all, the Golden Core Legacy he had obtained, and the best Immortal Cave for cultivation naturally had to be given to him.

Everyone discussed for a while longer, deliberating on the subsequent establishment matters for the Great Love Alliance, confirming that the first priority was to produce Immortal Foundation Experts.

Finally, Midnight Gao Sou prepared all the resources, descended into his Immortal Cave, and sat cross-legged.

He was located at the center of all the Spirit Gathering Arrays, with Immortal Caves continuously distributed in a circular fashion around him, all equipped with Spirit Gathering Arrays he personally crafted. If one were to investigate closely, they would find that these Spirit Gathering Arrays faintly emitted a blood-red light.

As Midnight Gao Sou cultivated, the Spirit Gathering Array beneath his feet also continuously emanated a blood-red hue, with an endless stream of vital Qi flowing into his body.

“Immortal Foundation, I must achieve Immortal Foundation.”

Midnight Gao Sou comforted himself: “The Xuanhuan World is a place where the strong prey on the weak. With so many people in the Great Love Alliance, there must be sufficiently powerful Cultivators to protect them. Although I am currently using some of their vital Qi, and judging by the accelerated Lifespan, I am using several years, or even ten years, of their vital Qi every day, but... this is a necessary sacrifice.”

As Midnight Gao Sou spoke, he felt increasingly at ease: “That's right, only if my cultivation Breakthroughs can I protect them. It must be me, only me.”

As he said this, he was unaware that something called a “Dao Heart” was quietly changing... “What? Purple Qi Sect? What is that?”

“That's our players' first Sect!”

“Wasn't the Great Love Alliance the first?”

“Are you kidding? How can it compare to the Purple Qi Sect? The Purple Qi Sect is a proper Sect.”

“They now have a Spirit Peak, a grand hall, a Scripture Pavilion, a training ground—all the buildings a Sect should have.”

“Not only that, but they also have a complete outer and inner Disciple system, clearly outlining how Disciples can obtain resources. As long as you work hard, becoming a Grand Elder isn't just a dream!”

“The Purple Qi Sect also has an Immortal Foundation overseeing it, capable of handling many matters, giving Disciples more confidence when undertaking missions, and they even provide Medicinal Pills.”

“Damn, I want to join the Purple Qi Sect!”

All the players were shocked!

The players' first Sect was established!

It wasn't the Great Love Alliance, nor a professional club, but a small guild that saved Yan Xiao!

It not only possessed a complete Sect structure and a complete Golden Core Legacy but also offered countless Medicinal Pill resources, attracting countless people in an instant.

But no matter what, the Purple Qi Sect was just a new Sect, with only an Immortal Foundation overseeing it, so the number of players it could accommodate was still too small.

Only a very small number of players were able to join the Purple Qi Sect. More players, in this wave, suddenly realized the various benefits of a Sect, but simply couldn't get in.

And as several more Qi Refining Cultivators in the Purple Qi Sect successfully Broke Through to Mortal Foundation, the players became even more frantic. It turns out joining a Sect is so satisfying! There's a systematic cultivation method, ample resources, and even Senior guidance. This is much stronger than being a Loose Cultivator!

Thus, many Loose Cultivator players had the idea of wanting to squeeze into a Sect to enjoy its various privileges.

Some Sects with Immortal Foundations overseeing them were almost overrun by players, gaining quite a few Disciples out of nowhere.

As for the Three Great Sects with Golden Cores overseeing them, players were wary of their prestige and dared not act presumptuously.

Just then, suddenly, the Three Great Sects collectively announced that they would each hold a Disciple-recruiting ceremony. All Loose Cultivators, and even Mortals, could participate, and if they passed, they could become Disciples!
