357: New resurrection mechanism

Even with Li Changfeng's composure, he was dumbfounded at this moment.

He never expected that after the version update, resurrection could preserve one's cultivation!

Before the update, this option absolutely did not exist.

Many players, after their Golden Core died, could only use their Golden Finger to restart. Unlucky ones were even caught by jealous players shortly after restarting, leading to another restart and direct loss of their Golden Finger.

After the update, there was no longer a Lifespan acceleration System. Golden Core players became more cautious than ever, unwilling to take risks, fearing restarting after death.

Li Changfeng originally thought that even if negotiations at Qingling Sect failed, he could retreat safely, but he didn't expect to run into True Monarch Feng Chuan and die directly.

This also made him the first Golden Core player to die after the version update.

And so, he triggered the unique special resurrection mechanism for Realms of Fifth Grade and above.

Resurrection with preserved cultivation!

Moreover, this resurrection only required a mere 100 transaction points. For Mortal players, this was quite a lot, but for Golden Core players, it was barely anything, not a threshold at all.

"The only problem should be the influence brought by this Cultivation Dao Lineage, right? Perhaps there are other influences?"

Li Changfeng pondered for a while, understanding the key to the two different types of resurrection.

The first type of resurrection, removing cultivation, was equivalent to complete Rebirth, free from the constraints of the previous Cultivation Dao Lineage. One could switch to other Dao Lineages later.

But at the same time, some excellent Soul-affecting methods could still be preserved, which was equivalent to exchanging one's efforts for a restart cheat.

As for the second type of resurrection, while it preserved cultivation, it also preserved the Dao Lineage Legacy, which could be seen as a simple resurrection, no longer a restart.

If one wanted to change Dao Lineages in the future, the first type of resurrection would be better. Li Changfeng even felt that many native powerhouses would flock to this kind of "resurrection" that sacrificed cultivation.

But at this current stage, the second type was clearly better, as he had no better Cultivation Technique and no intention of switching.

In addition, Li Changfeng thought of a very interesting point:

"In this way, we will have unlimited opportunities to try again.

"It's just that each resurrection requires waiting for an hour, which is half a shichen.

"Considering the distance to Qingling Sect, even more time will be consumed.

"But that doesn't matter, as the time span in a Xuanhuan World is inherently long.

"Hehehe, Feng Chuan, you didn't expect this, did you? Not only can I resurrect with full cultivation, but I will also tell other players about this, letting them fearlessly come to your Qingling Sect to cause trouble!"

Li Changfeng immediately publicized the information that Fifth Grade cultivators could resurrect with full health.

He also used a video of his death at the hands of True Monarch Feng Chuan and his resurrection in Newbie Village to verify its authenticity.

This immediately caused a huge uproar.

"What? Achieving Golden Core allows full health resurrection? Holy cow, doesn't that mean unlimited trial and error?"

"I'm going for it! No matter what, I must achieve Golden Core! Only by achieving Golden Core can one be considered to have passed the Newbie phase!"

"Everyone, keep it up! After achieving Golden Core, you can die infinitely. No more repeating such tedious cultivation!"

The numerous low-level players were instantly motivated.

What is the most important thing in a game?

That would naturally be infinite Rebirth and infinite trial and error!

Only a few players enjoyed the challenge of a one-life clear; most players were still accustomed to infinite Rebirth.

For a long time, everyone believed that after dying in the Xuanhuan World, one needed to re-cultivate, so they were filled with fear towards the Xuanhuan World.

But now they knew that as long as they achieved Golden Core, they could resurrect infinitely with full health!

Suddenly, motivation surged, and they had infinite expectations for the future.

As for players who had already achieved Golden Core, their reaction was even greater.

"What? We can resurrect infinitely?"

In the former Thunder Club, now the Thunder Pavilion Sect in the Xuanhuan World, Golden Core players gathered, shocked by this astonishing news.

"Do you think this information is true or false?"

"From the released video, it should be true."

"With official certification, this video is not fake."

"But what if it's not the official resurrection System, but some secret art of Li Changfeng's?"

"I don't think Li Changfeng would lie to us. After the full virtualization, he actively funded Newbies and gave us a lot of information. He probably wants to turn around his reputation."

"I also don't think Li Changfeng would lie to us. His release of information seems more like an attempt to spite Qingling Sect."

Lightning Flash, Lei Ming, and others discussed animatedly.

Finally, someone said:

"It's a pity Wang Long left. Otherwise, with his personality, he would definitely be the first to try."

After the full virtualization, various real-world contracts lost their binding force. Wang Long left Thunder Pavilion alone and became a wandering Loose Cultivator.

"Then let's draw lots and pick someone to try?"

"Uh, should we wait for Loose Cultivator players to try first?"

"Well... alright..."

Forces like Thunder Pavilion were very tempted by infinite resurrection, but they were still a bit hesitant to try.

However, some reckless Loose Cultivator players had already started to move.

"Infinite resurrection? I knew the Xuanhuan World wouldn't really make us players feel like we're in jail."

"Damn it, after the new version opened, there are more and more Prodigy natives. How are we players supposed to get by without some Golden Finger? Luckily, we have infinite resurrection."

"I don't care anymore, I'm going to Qingling Sect to try first. Wait for my good news!"

It was foreseeable that Qingling Sect would face big trouble for a long time to come.

At this time, another post was published:

"I am Ma Dun (Who was hit by the durian), and I certify that Fifth Grade cultivators can indeed resurrect after death."

As a Demon Body Realm player, Ma Dun (Who was hit by the durian)'s post directly proved that Fifth Grade powerhouses from different Cultivation Systems could all resurrect with full health.

His post also mentioned:

"Qingling Sect indeed has extraordinary treasures and Legacy. I can only say, those who know, know. Breaking into Qingling Sect will definitely make you rich."

This caused even more players to head to Qingling Sect.

Even the Immortal Dynasty System subsequently announced a new main quest: Investigate Qingling Sect.

Those with keen insight speculated that after the investigation concluded, a full-scale assault was highly likely.

After the version update, Qingling Sect would most likely be the first force to be annihilated by players!

For a time, many players felt their blood boil... Western Great Desert.

This place was far from the flames of war, but it was not peaceful.

The forces in the Great Desert were chaotic, with humans and demons intermingling. There were also many unique resources and Secret Realms. There were no major wars, but minor skirmishes were constant, with partings of life and death playing out everywhere at any time.

Old Potato was now in a desert devoid of any greenery, having found a towering sandstone and resting in its shadow.

The Great Desert was already scorching, but the area he was in was especially hot. Mortals coming here would even instantly combust into ashes, and even Qi Refining Cultivators would suffer immensely. Only Foundation Establishment Cultivators could withstand the high temperatures here.

He was a very sentimental person. He initially teamed up with Mage, Midnight Gao Sou, and others to play the game, but later Mage and Midnight Gao Sou each found their own ways of playing, and contact gradually lessened.

He then formed a force with Yan Xiao and others, but with the destruction of the Great Jiang Imperial Dynasty, Yan Xiao left in pursuit of greater power, and the force disbanded. Old Potato gradually became a lone wolf.

Before Yan Xiao left, he left many things for him, allowing him to continue cultivating and growing stronger. Not long ago, he finally made a Breakthrough to Golden Core. Although the Golden Core's quality was not high, he was still a Golden Core, considered a person of some standing.

"A Golden Core can resurrect infinitely with full health? In that case, I'd dare to try for that strange fire..."

Old Potato gazed into the distance, where the temperature was even higher, the air seemed distorted, and clusters of flames could be seen continuously burning on the sand.

He knew there was a powerful and extraordinary strange fire there. Once subdued, it could enhance his cultivation.

However, the failure rate of subduing a strange fire was too high, and he had hesitated for a long time, not daring to try.

Now with infinite Rebirth, Old Potato suddenly gained courage.

"Yan Xiao became stronger by subduing a strange fire. Although I don't have his unique Cultivation Technique, the strange fire itself is an excellent treasure..." "No one else has discovered this item yet. Originally, I planned to sell the information, but now with infinite Rebirth..." "This item is destined for me."
