340: Demon race players seem to have been abandoned by the version.

The state-stabilizing seal closed his eyes, using his Spiritual Sense to perceive everything around him and retracting the methods he had spread out.

He compiled all sorts of intelligence submitted by the players and used it to evaluate and reward them.

To prevent hardcore players from guessing what intelligence he knew and what he didn't, the state-stabilizing seal treated all player intelligence equally. As long as it was the first time a player submitted it, it was considered new intelligence and given corresponding rewards.

Because of this, an especially large number of players received rewards, which made more and more players willing to participate in exploration.

But in the state-stabilizing seal's view, this was still not enough.

For example, Wan Lin, the player who explored north, was indeed the first player to obtain the intelligence that "the Monster Kingdom can control Yao Beast-level Great Yao" in the System he designed.

But in fact, the true first ones among all players to receive this news were the Yao Race players who were in the Northern Mountains from the beginning.

Unfortunately, they had never reached Great River City and had not had methods planted on them by the state-stabilizing seal, so they could not access the pseudo-official System created by the state-stabilizing seal.

This significantly slowed down the state-stabilizing seal's intelligence gathering speed, even causing some lag.

"No, all players must be included. To me, the Yao Race and Human Race are no different at all.

"I need to change the method. I can't just be limited to Great River City; I need to allow players in other areas to access my System on the spot..."

The state-stabilizing seal pondered, conceiving new methods... Northern Mountain Range.

The former Western Country streamer, now a Yao Race Savage Bull Yao named "Arthur," felt a bit anxious.

He felt he was somewhat unlucky.

As an ardent fan of knights, after arriving in the Xuanhuan World, he dreamed of riding a swift horse, galloping across the vast land, and fully experiencing the dashing life of a knight.

His first life in the game started in the Immortal Dynasty, where he immediately snatched a Mortal's fine breed horse. However, he didn't expect to be tricked by an outdated guide. As soon as he rode out of the city, he was captured and imprisoned by an evil Cultivator who had mended his ways.

Later, he discovered that the Xuanhuan World not only had warhorses but also many awe-inspiring beasts. If taken as mounts, they were far stronger than ordinary warhorses.

So Arthur chose to restart as a Yao Race member.

In that life, he was lucky. It was when the Great Jiang Treasure Vault was exposed, and the Golden Core Cultivators of the Immortal Dynasty were constantly infighting.

Thus, he followed the Yao Race army southward, accumulating a large amount of resources along the way, which allowed him to purchase a very fast wolf-type Demonic Beast. He enjoyed a dashing life for a long time.

However, he didn't expect the state-stabilizing seal to change his strategy, suddenly making a move and sending out a Golden Core Clone, instantly reversing the battlefield and forcing their Yao Race to retreat back to the Northern Mountains.

Arthur's wolf mount also died during the escape, and all the resources he had painstakingly accumulated were lost completely. Even his Savage Bull Yao Demon Body was almost shattered by Human Race Cultivators.

After a desperate escape back to the Northern Mountains, Arthur initially thought their Yao Race would gather strength and move south again to plunder the Immortal Dynasty's resources once more.

However, the Yao Race players changed their strategy. With the Breakthrough of the Demon Bodies of three players—"Josephine," "Maton Hit by Durian," and "Stargazing Pie"—as a starting point, the Yao Race players began to band together and sought to usurp the Yao Race's political power, thus initiating infighting within the Yao Race.

Arthur and other Western Country players initially thought that as more and more Western Country players chose a Yao Race start, then, although there was a time difference, it would eventually be as they had initially envisioned: players would completely control the Yao Race.

However, after the Season Three update, their dreams were shattered.

Arthur was surprised to find that under the new version, players either chose to start on Earth or in the Immortal Dynasty. As for the Burial Emperor Star, it was not considered by the general player base.

Under the new version, there was no option to start in the Northern Mountains!

Arthur and the other Yao Race players immediately panicked. Without subsequent player replenishment, even if they died and restarted, they couldn't choose the Northern Mountains. This meant they would dwindle in number, losing their advantage against the native Yao Race.

Top Western Country players like Josephine immediately chose to avoid conflict, leading their confidants to hide deep in the mountains.

Mid-tier players like Arthur, however, were unlucky. They had to flee desperately under the siege of the native Yao Race, becoming more and more disheveled each day.

Sometimes Arthur wondered if the damn officials had forgotten about them, these Western Country players.

In Season Two, they were coaxed into choosing other regions to start, and then in Season Three, they were directly abandoned?

What kind of situation was this? Could there be anything more unlucky?

Soon Arthur discovered that there truly was something even more unlucky.

After the version update, all regions of the Xuanhuan World were opened.

For Immortal Dynasty players, this was just a light statement; they couldn't perceive the impact for now.

But for Yao Race players who were on the border of the old map, this understated sentence was a matter of cataclysmic proportions.

The northern fog dissipated, and unknown enemies emerged, causing all Yao Beasts and Yao Race along the way to prostrate themselves. Chaos swept across the entire Northern Mountain Range.

In the face of those unknown methods, the native Yao Race were utterly defenseless and were all controlled.

Arthur, who practiced Yao Race Cultivation Techniques, also felt the same pressure. If not for player privileges removing the control effect for him, he probably would have become a Puppet-like existence.

But even so, his strength was still suppressed. He, who originally had seventh-grade strength, could now barely contend with a ninth-grade opponent.

Top players like Josephine were even more aghast, not daring to show their faces. Consequently, the Yao Race players were leaderless and on the verge of collapse.

"Just destroy it, quickly."

Arthur was currently hiding in a secluded cave, surrounded by mosquitoes and flies. There was even a large snake secretly eyeing his body.

He had been fleeing for a long time and was already physically and mentally exhausted.

Moreover, he saw no hope for the future, feeling that this life was wasted. He might as well seek death immediately and restart, at least then he could receive the protection of the Immortal Dynasty.

Arthur had nothing else to do now but sit idly in the cave, waiting to die, casually browsing the forum for posts.

"Huh?"

He quickly found a special post.

It was posted by a Golden Core player from the Immortal Dynasty side, and the content was related to the state-stabilizing seal's System.

The post clearly stated that the Immortal Dynasty System had released new missions. Players could carry a special "Jade Tablet" from Great River City to other areas to find players who had not yet accessed the Immortal Dynasty System.

As long as these players touched the Jade Tablet, they could directly access the Immortal Dynasty System, saving them the trouble of traveling to Great River City.

Furthermore, the state-stabilizing seal directly announced that the Immortal Dynasty would immediately send troops to reinforce the Northern Mountains, hoping that the players in the Northern Mountains would make wise choices and join the Immortal Dynasty as soon as possible.

Not long after, Arthur found another new post.

It was from the top Yao Race player "Stargazing Pie." He clearly stated that he had already accessed the Immortal Dynasty System and called on other players to join the Immortal Dynasty.

He said in the post:

"The version has been updated. The main theme of Season Three is no longer player infighting. On the contrary, we players need to unite first and turn the Immortal Dynasty into a player's Immortal Dynasty."

"After that, perhaps infighting will still break out, and different factions and forces will emerge."

"But at least for now, I believe we should all merge into the Immortal Dynasty, quickly establish the Immortal Dynasty's stable territory, and then work together to solve external enemies, and then figure out how to truly control the Immortal Dynasty."

"Western Country players, Yao Race players, don't hesitate. Join the Immortal Dynasty together."
