93: Chapter 93 is a complete mess

After chatting for a while longer, Dylan prepared to take his leave, while Loris intended to stay here and remain with Elena.

Dylan didn't say much about this; after all, the smaller the team for contacting others, the better—it would be more discreet.

However, as he was leaving, Dylan still felt a bit uneasy and spoke up again to instruct them.

"Loris, the three of you should continue to stay here for now. Just make sure not to expose yourselves. You don't need to worry about what's happening outside; just wait for my signal."

"Once I send the signal, you must rush to the location I indicate as quickly as possible. Do not pay attention to anything that happens on the way."

"Even if someone is chasing you, ignore them and just head to the meeting point. Once you arrive there, it will be our turn."

As he said this, the corners of Dylan's mouth curled into a smile, and a flash of crimson flickered in his eyes.

He had learned this trick from Byron. It was just a pity that he wasn't here now; otherwise, he would have been even more confident, and it might even have been possible to do things he didn't dare to imagine.

It was a pity, though.

Hearing Dylan's words, Elena and the others didn't say much, merely nodding with calm expressions.

Seeing this, Dylan said nothing more, turned around, and vanished into the darkness along the underground crevice.

In the time that followed, Loris and Elena huddled together, whispering incessantly as if they had endless things to talk about.

As for Colin, he could only sit to one side, miserable and forlorn, watching the two of them with resentful eyes.

One noon, a few days later, the three of them—Loris, Elena, and Colin—received the signal from Dylan almost simultaneously.

The three exchanged glances and, without hesitation, ran out of the dark cave along the underground crevice at nearly the same moment.

Upon appearing in the outside world and confirming the direction, the three of them used their own methods to dash toward the location Dylan had provided.

At this moment, they had no intention of hiding, nor were they worried about being discovered by those guys wandering in the forest.

They ran as fast as they possibly could.

Similar situations were occurring all over the forest.

Of course, how could those Family members not have noticed such an obvious situation?

Those Family members who were wandering in the forest and searching for academy students did not hesitate and immediately rushed toward the places near them where the commotion was originating.

With this disturbance, the originally quiet forest became chaotic once again.

Seeing this commotion, other students hiding in various secret spots mostly chose to remain hidden to avoid being discovered.

However, for every person who chose to continue hiding, there were others who chose to strike the initiative.

Having been chased for so many days and forced to scurry around like rats for so long, they all had a fire burning within them.

Now that someone was willing to take the lead, those with grievances could air them, and those with grudges could take their revenge!

Instantly, the forest became even more chaotic, almost descending into a complete mess.

Cries of battle, sounds of elemental explosions, and screams rang out from almost everywhere...

At the same time, other Wizard Apprentice organizations that were secretly gathering also noticed this commotion.

"Damn it, you don't even need to think to know that this commotion was definitely caused by that brute Dylan. I really don't know what he's thinking, to actually stir up such a racket!"

At the Hand of Shadows organization's gathering point, a young man with a gloomy face listened to the commotion outside and shouted angrily.

Originally, he had intended to gather as many organization members as possible and then steadily erode the Family members.

But now, with Dylan causing such a mess, there was no need to think about it—his plan had definitely been ruined.

"Leader, what should we do now? Should we continue with the original plan, or..."

A member of the Hand of Shadows asked with an ugly expression.

The gloomy young man heard this and said resentfully: "What else can we do? With Dylan causing this, the plan has failed, so of course, we have to act now!"

"Do you want that guy Dylan to steal all the spotlight? Then all our efforts will have been in vain!"

"I'll lead the team now. Call out all the members we've already found. I don't believe we can't get a piece of the cake!"

As the gloomy young man said this, the others didn't argue and immediately began to get busy.

Before long, led by the gloomy young man, the Hand of Shadows organization also joined the chaotic battle.

At the same time, it wasn't just the Hand of Shadows organization that reacted this way.

Almost every large organization with Limit Wizard Apprentices, such as the Blood Sail Alliance, made the same choice.

Like Dylan, they had guessed the academy's intentions and each had their own plans.

And now, because of what Dylan had done, they could only launch their actions ahead of time.

Because they were all worried that if they waited any longer, they wouldn't even get a sip of soup in the end.

At this moment, on top of a hill, Dylan and Ivan stood at the top of a tall tree, watching the commotion erupting throughout the forest, smiles appearing on both their faces.

Dylan: "I didn't expect the situation to develop in the best direction I had imagined. It's truly unexpected!"

"Originally, the best I expected was to lure out some stragglers and distract those guys. I didn't expect those organizations to be so impatient to jump out one by one."

Ivan shook his head: "I actually think this isn't strange at all. Have you forgotten what you did in the Ghost Marrow Crystal Nest Plane?"

"They've already suffered a loss once, letting us occupy a nest alone. Now that they've encountered the same situation again, how could they not be anxious?"

Dylan heard this and laughed heartily: "That's true. If they really didn't jump out, I wouldn't have left them even a sip of soup this time!"

"But even if they jump out, so what? This commotion happened because of us. The turning point of the situation is in our hands, and we've already taken the biggest benefits. At most, they'll only get to eat some scraps!"

Once these words were spoken, a smile also appeared on Ivan's face, but he quickly restrained it.

"Alright, Loris and the others are almost here, we need to get ready too."

Dylan's smile faded, and he nodded with a serious expression.

Just at this moment, three figures leaped out from the dense forest and appeared on the hill.

At this moment, Dylan and the other person jumped down and stood beside Loris and the others.

The group exchanged glances, none of them speaking, and quietly looked toward the dense forest they had just run out of.

Several figures draped in long robes, their entire bodies shrouded in darkness, slowly walked out from that spot, looking up at the five of them.

Seeing this, Dylan spoke up and called out: "I wonder which Family the people opposite belong to? Is it the Sol Family of the Blood Thorns, or the Bia Family of the Lion Family..."

Loris and the others listened to Dylan's words, their expressions remaining calm, as if they had known all along.

After so many days of chasing and being chased, if they still hadn't figured out who the enemy opposite them was,

then Dylan and his team wouldn't need to continue; they might as well surrender early or continue hiding in the shadows like rats—that would be a better choice.

However, none of the people opposite paid any attention to Dylan's words, continuing to stand quietly in place.

Seeing this, Dylan also shrugged, not saying anything more.

Just like that, both groups stood in place, watching each other with vigilance, as if they were all waiting for something.
