273: Taste all kinds of things in the world

“Bang~”

The Middle-aged Woman casually tossed Xu Sanyan onto the bed, then turned and left without looking back.

Only then did Xun An Cai lean in, her face full of anxious concern, “How are you?”

Xu Sanyan struggled to move his lips, “I’m… I’m fine, it just hurts a bit.”

Xun An Cai relaxed, “That’s normal. It’ll get better in a few days. Are you hungry? Shall I get you something to eat?”

At her words, Xu Sanyan suddenly felt a surge of intense hunger, as if a raging fire was burning in his stomach, so he nodded,

“Hungry.”

Xun An Cai was prepared. She grabbed a piece of meat from the side and brought it to his mouth, “Eat quickly.”

Xu Sanyan struggled to open his mouth, but could only open it slightly. Forget eating, even drinking water was difficult.

This made him even more impatient. His brain frantically sent signals of hunger, but his mouth wouldn't cooperate.

Xun An Cai’s face flushed slightly, and she said in a very low voice, “The first time after a blessing is always like this. I couldn’t eat back then either. My mother chewed it for me and fed it to me…”

Xun An Cai’s voice became softer and softer, almost inaudible by the end.

Xu Sanyan was startled, his eyes unconsciously looking at her, only one thought remaining in his mind,

Chewed… and fed to her?

Xu Sanyan looked at Xun An Cai’s flushed face, then carefully looked at her full, sensual red lips, and finally glanced at the Three-Headed Dog nearby.

He seemed to have no choice.

Either Xun An Cai chewed it and fed it to him, or the Three-Headed Dog chewed it and fed it to him…

This was not a difficult choice.

The hunger in his stomach urged him to make a decision. Xu Sanyan nodded, “I’m troubling you.”

“No trouble, no trouble at all. As long as you don’t mind me…”

Xun An Cai waved her hands repeatedly, taking a small bite of meat and chewing it carefully. It was the first time she had eaten so elegantly.

Before, she would tear at it in large bites, wolfing it down, as if afraid someone would snatch it from her.

“Ah…”

This was for him to open his mouth.

Xun An Cai, suppressing her shyness, brought her red lips to Xu Sanyan’s mouth, her eyes slightly averted, not daring to meet his gaze.

Xu Sanyan obediently opened his mouth, and immediately felt a warm pair of red lips, followed by a nimble tongue tip entering his mouth, delivering some food mixed with saliva.

“Gulp…”

Xu Sanyan swallowed with all his strength.

Xun An Cai brushed back her falling hair, a glistening strand still on her lips, making her look somewhat sensual.

Xu Sanyan stared intently at her, suddenly feeling that it wasn’t so hard to accept after all…

It wasn't like he hadn't kissed before. How was this any different from last night?

And actually, this feeling was quite novel.

The two, one feeding and one eating, became more and more coordinated.

Whenever Xun An Cai lowered her head, a few strands of hair would fall, brushing against Xu Sanyan’s cheek and causing a tickle.

Watching the blushing Xun An Cai chew while looking elsewhere, pretending nothing was happening, Xu Sanyan found it highly amusing, and even the pain in his body eased considerably.

“Ah…”

“Gulp…”

“Mm…”

Xun An Cai felt her tongue tip lightly bitten. Her face flushed even deeper, and she quickly turned her head, taking a small bite of meat.

A smile appeared in Xu Sanyan’s eyes. This was too interesting. This was the true meaning of cultivation.

To taste all the myriad flavors of the human world, to die without regret.

He had no regrets. He had tried humans, ghosts, and demons. If anything, ghosts offered the most variety, but humans and demons also had different feelings.

As Xu Sanyan’s thoughts drifted, Xun An Cai, also lost in thought, unconsciously swallowed the food in her mouth.

“Oh.” Xun An Cai gave an embarrassed smile and quickly took another bite.

“How many days of food are left?” Xu Sanyan asked casually.

“Hmm… two more days. I’ll go hunting tomorrow. You just rest well at home.” Xun An Cai glanced at the meat hanging from the eaves.

“Okay.” Xu Sanyan couldn’t move, so he couldn’t accompany her out.

“Ah…”

Xun An Cai lifted her hair and leaned in, her glistening eyes filled with sweetness. She loved this feeling so much, she would be willing to do this for a lifetime.

Xu Sanyan wiggled his finger slightly, struggling to reach her leg and touch it. Xun An Cai’s body stiffened, but she pretended not to feel it.

The Three-Headed Dog’s three heads simultaneously turned to stare at the two, their six eyes meeting, then they silently lay back down.

After one piece of meat was eaten, Xu Sanyan felt his hunger greatly relieved, and his body had recovered some strength, so he no longer needed her to feed him.

Although he liked the feeling, it was too slow. It would take too long to get full by being fed like this.

Xun An Cai’s eyes showed a hint of disappointment, but she obediently continued to roast meat.

Xu Sanyan was holding the meat and swallowing large bites when he suddenly paused, the meat in his mouth ceasing to be chewed.

Xun An Cai noticed something was amiss and turned her head to ask, “What’s wrong?”

Xu Sanyan did not answer. He simply put down the food, closed his eyes, and quietly sensed.

He felt a force in the world slowly approaching him, like a pair of large hands squeezing him.

Xu Sanyan was very familiar with this feeling. He had experienced it last time in the Hundred Saints Secret Realm.

Time was up!

The Secret Realm was sending him out.

Xu Sanyan furrowed his brows tightly. He didn’t understand why it was so fast this time?

It was only three days, and it was already sending him out?

“Are you alright?”

Xun An Cai was a little uneasy. She ignored the food and got up to come to his side.

Xu Sanyan opened his eyes and turned his head to look at her, “I might have to leave.”

“Leave?”

Xun An Cai was stunned, subconsciously asking, “Go where?”

“Back to where I should be.” Xu Sanyan felt no reluctance. This Secret Realm was in his hands; he could come whenever he wanted.

“How do you leave? Can you not go? Will you come back?”

Xun An Cai rattled off a series of questions, tears quickly welling up in her eyes, showing extreme reluctance.

She didn’t want to be separated from Xu Sanyan.

“I’m afraid not.”

Xu Sanyan shook his head, then promised, “Don’t worry, I’ll come back after some time.”

No sooner had he spoken than he felt the world’s rejection of him intensify. In an instant, Xu Sanyan’s figure vanished.

Xun An Cai’s eyes showed a momentary blankness. A hollow feeling filled her heart, and two lines of tears slid down from the corners of her eyes.

Her man was gone again…

The Three-Headed Dog instantly flipped over, coming to where Xu Sanyan had been sitting and sniffing carefully, searching for his traces.

It couldn’t understand how someone could disappear instantly.

“Gulp…”

Xu Sanyan swallowed the last bite of food, floating in the air, holding the gray Secret Realm.

Back in this world, his Qi was rapidly recovering, and the hunger in his stomach quickly receded, though he still felt weak.

But it didn’t matter. With Qi, he could use his abilities, at least having some means of self-preservation.

He was still within the Mist Sea, but he had escaped the monster’s stomach. He guessed it couldn’t digest the Secret Realm, so it was expelled.

Looking into the distance, the mist ahead was becoming thinner. He should be at the edge of the Mist Sea now.

He just didn’t know which direction he had come out from. As long as it wasn’t near Mist City, that would be good. He definitely didn’t want to go in a circle and end up back there.
