369: Go out and get married first

Xun An Cai gently waved her hand, and the crowd slowly retreated. Only after they had withdrawn to a safe distance did Xu Sanyan open his mouth to ask, "Why are they this color?"

Xun An Cai shook her head and explained, "Actually, they are also a race. Legend has it that a very, very long time ago, a tribe called the Sheep Clan lived in the Southern Mountains."

"The men of the Sheep Clan were irritable and powerful, while the women were cunning yet intelligent. For a time, all the tribes on both sides of the Southern Mountains had to bow to their will. They occupied the most fertile part of the Southern Mountains."

Xu Sanyan tilted his head slightly. Sheep Clan?

He couldn't help but picture a group of bouncing little sheep, with one sheep even having a pile of poop on its head.

Xun An Cai didn't know what he was thinking about and continued, "Later, they lost their faith and, at the same time, lost the protection of the Sheep God. The men turned into black sheep, and the women turned into white sheep."

Xu Sanyan secretly clicked his tongue, "So... they were all human like you back then?"

Perhaps... they were more like demons?

"Yes, I'm not sure if it's true or false; it's just stories passed down through generations."

Xu Sanyan nodded lightly, "Then how do we deal with them?"

Xun An Cai said, "It's very simple. Although the white sheep are intelligent, they are very timid, extremely disunited, and don't know how to cooperate. They scatter with just a scare. Sometimes they even use their companions to block danger."

Tsk...

Women, even when they turn into sheep, cannot change their nature.

One woman might be able to achieve something, but a group of women absolutely cannot. This perfectly aligns with Xu Sanyan's stereotype of them.

Xun An Cai was on the side, arranging the action plan: a few people in a group, some responsible for scaring, some for encirclement and killing, and a group of companion dogs scattered on the periphery for chasing.

Everything was arranged properly, and Xu Sanyan followed behind to observe; he didn't need to take action.

"Oho!"

Someone let out a loud shout, and the white sheep herd visibly descended into chaos. The sheep, which had been calmly lying on the ground, started scurrying in all directions. Xu Sanyan even saw two sheep collide heavily.

The white sheep's strength was not weak, not much weaker than the black sheep. It was just their nature; the first thing they considered when encountering danger was not resistance, but escape.

Just as the Dog Clan members were working together to hunt the sheep, another group of figures suddenly appeared in the distance. Their target also seemed to be this group of white sheep.

What a coincidence?

The Southern Mountains were so vast, stretching for thousands of miles as far as the eye could see, yet they had only just entered on the second day and already encountered people from another tribe?

Xun An Cai also noticed the other party and immediately stopped pursuing her prey, gathering her clan members together, letting the white sheep escape in all directions.

Hostility exists between tribes, especially in the wilderness, where one must be even more cautious.

Xu Sanyan stood among the crowd, looking at the opposite side. The other side also stopped and watched them.

The two sides were not far apart but neither took the initiative to approach, both wary of the other.

"Which tribe are they from?" Xu Sanyan asked in a low voice.

He saw that most of the people on the opposite side, regardless of gender, were naked. A small number of women had their chests wrapped in beast hide because they were too large and affected their movements.

Their average height was half a head taller than the Dog Clan members, and their physiques were extremely robust, with their exposed muscles arranged in blocks, full of explosive power.

Xun An Cai replied without turning her head, "Haven't seen them before. Probably from the other side of the mountains."

A tribe from the other side of the Southern Mountains?

Suddenly, Xu Sanyan's gaze sharpened, and then a smile appeared on his lips. He saw an acquaintance.

Amidst a group of tall tribesmen stood a handsome young man. The young man's height barely reached the neck of the woman beside him. He wore a tattered gray robe and leaned on a wooden stick.

This young man was Lin Fan, who had been missing for many days.

Lin Fan also saw him, and a look of extreme surprise appeared on his face. Just as he was about to shout, Xu Sanyan stopped him with a look.

Neither of them expected to meet under such circumstances.

Looking at the tall woman beside Lin Fan, their demeanor was quite intimate. The woman stood in front of Lin Fan, shielding him behind her, protecting half of his body,

While Lin Fan leaned on a wooden stick with one hand and held the woman's arm with the other, like her son, or like a soft and gentle little wife.

Xu Sanyan twitched his lips. It seemed Lin Fan was doing well, even having an eight-foot wife to protect him. He just wondered if he could handle her at night.

These primitives were extremely fierce, not just during the day, but even more so at night. Xu Sanyan had deeply experienced this.

The atmosphere was a bit tense, and both sides slowly moved their feet, tacitly moving in different directions.

Night was approaching, and all tribes were eager to hunt and store food, so no conflict broke out.

Xu Sanyan turned his head and met Lin Fan's gaze, his lips moving as he silently spoke a sentence, though he didn't know if Lin Fan could read lips.

After both sides had gone far, Xun An Cai breathed a sigh of relief. She felt an extremely strong sense of oppression from that group of people; their strength was not weak.

"What a pity..." Xun An Cai shook her head in disappointment.

Xu Sanyan knew she was regretting the white sheep. White sheep were easier to hunt than black sheep, and the danger was lower.

At this moment, Xu Sanyan felt a repulsive pushing force from the world. He knew his time was up; three days had passed.

In fact, after Xu Sanyan's Breakthrough to Soul Refining middle stage, he could have stayed longer, but he deliberately controlled the time to three days because there were other matters in the outside world.

His wedding date was approaching.

Xu Sanyan grabbed Xun An Cai, "My time is almost up."

At the same time, he silently added in his heart, 'Let me go out and get married first, then I'll come back.'

"So fast?"

Xun An Cai counted on her fingers and indeed, three days had passed. Time always passed so quickly when she was with him.

"Then when will you come next?"

Xu Sanyan shook his head, "Not sure."

Xun An Cai, with a slight worry, instructed, "If you can't come these few days, then come after some time. The long night is approaching, and it's too dangerous for you to appear in the Southern Mountains alone."

Xun An Cai also knew that every time Xu Sanyan came, he would appear in the same place he had disappeared from last time.

"Okay."

As soon as his voice fell, Xu Sanyan's figure suddenly vanished.

The Five-Headed Dog ran over, sniffed around, and memorized the surrounding scents.

On the other side,

Lin Fan's legs were shaking from exhaustion. He pulled on the woman's arm for support, barely managing to keep up with the main group's pace.

He didn't know how much longer he would have to stay here, but he really couldn't take it anymore.

As for the last thing Xu Sanyan said to him, Lin Fan understood,

"I will come find you."

This reignited his confidence. The Saint truly wouldn't abandon him.

Yi'er, wait for me...

Lin Fan's eyes were full of fighting spirit. Although he had lost his virginity, it was by force and couldn't count.

Moreover, the Saint had said that a man's chastity was not in his 'thing,' but in his heart.

As long as the heart remained unchanged, chastity was not lost.

Lin Fan believed the Saint would not lie to him.
