96: Spinster? No wonder there is so much resentment!

Suddenly, the blood mist converged, and a ten-foot-tall figure shot out, with four arms and three eyes, a ferocious face, and bulging muscles, appearing exceptionally mighty.

Four arms, carrying fierce gales, heavily struck Cisheng's head.

"Bang!"

Cisheng raised her eyes, looking calmly at Xu Sanyan, completely ignoring the four arms.

Her head instantly burst open like a ripe watermelon, scarlet blood splattering across the sky and all over him.

Xu Sanyan was slightly stunned, "It's over?"

"That simple?"

"When the girls were subjected to ghost marriages, ghosts would come to take them. As the saying goes, humans have the Human Dao, and ghosts have the Ghost Dao; they are supposed to not interfere with each other."

Cisheng's voice continued, and Xu Sanyan looked at the headless corpse in front of him, then turned to look at Cisheng slowly walking out of the temple not far away, his eyes immediately narrowing.

It was indeed not over!

And this temple had, at some unknown point, appeared behind him again, and the two beautiful nuns were also staring fixedly at him.

"Putting on a show!" Xu Sanyan snorted coldly, his knees slightly bent, and he suddenly exerted force, shooting towards Cisheng's heart like a drawn sword.

Cisheng did not dodge, only softly continued her story, "But marriage is different; it must follow the parents' command and the matchmaker's words. This is the glorious Heavenly Dao. After the ghost marriage, the girls were married off..."

Tear...

Xu Sanyan's four arms pierced into Cisheng's vital organs, and with a slight pull, he tore her into two halves, blood splashing, like a Hell on earth.

The two young nuns were oblivious to the scene before them, their gaze fixed on Xu Sanyan.

"Look? I'll let you look!" Xu Sanyan's anger flared. Don't think I won't kill you just because you're pretty!

Xu Sanyan's eyes were bloodshot, and he suddenly appeared beside the young nuns, his two large hands gripping their necks and pulling them close to his eyes.

The two nuns extended their slender palms, struggling to push against Xu Sanyan's thick arms, their faces flushed, yet their expressions remained calm, creating a strange sense of contrast.

"The four girls were married to one person, who was originally the son of a wealthy family in the village. He was sickly since childhood and died early. After hearing about this, the wealthy family paid the four girls' fathers to arrange a ghost marriage..."

As the voice sounded, another Cisheng walked out of the temple, looking up at Xu Sanyan, her eyes showing no change, still filled with tranquility.

"Ghostly thing..." Xu Sanyan took a deep breath, suppressing the irritability in his heart, and looked up at the plaque above the door. The three characters "Miaoyin Nunnery" were gilded, shining golden in the dark night.

Xu Sanyan exerted a little force, casually crushing the two young nuns to death, then raised his arms, grabbed the corner of the plaque, and pulled hard, but the plaque did not move an inch.

Xu Sanyan's bloodshot eyes flashed. With his transformed strength, it was more than enough to blow up a small mountain, yet he couldn't even pull down a mere plaque?

Cisheng's voice was like a demonic sound piercing his ears, giving him no moment to breathe. "The four girls' fathers were naturally happy, accepting the money and writing the marriage contract. From then on, they were that person's wives. After the ghost marriage, ghosts came to take them..."

Xu Sanyan clenched his fists, a monstrous Evil Qi surfacing from the depths of his heart. "Tell stories! I told you to tell stories!"

Xu Sanyan's eyes became even bloodier, and his large hand grabbed Cisheng's head, pulling it off forcefully.

Before he could even catch his breath, the two young nuns stepped out of the temple again. Xu Sanyan wasted no words, sending them to their demise with a single punch each.

Then Cisheng came out again, "The four girls' resentment soared to the heavens; ordinary ghosts were no match for them at all. But those ghosts seemed endless, killing one batch only for another to arrive. The four girls gradually couldn't hold on, and three of them were captured..."

Xu Sanyan only felt Cisheng's calm voice becoming increasingly grating, disturbing his peace of mind. The fierce Evil Qi in his heart had nowhere to vent, and no matter how strong he was, he felt a sense of powerlessness, like punching cotton.

The two young nuns came out again. Xu Sanyan did not make a move; instead, he looked at the pile of corpses on the ground, all of which belonged to the three of them.

"Only one girl was left. She was the youngest before she died, with the purest heart. She witnessed the tragic state of her Eldest sisters, and far from being afraid, her resentment deepened, and her corresponding strength grew. Slowly, she discovered that she seemed to be able to influence reality..."

Xu Sanyan clenched his teeth, squeezing out a few words, "So... you're the last little girl?"

Cisheng did not answer him, continuing her narration, "She killed the villagers one by one. The first one she killed was her own father, then the fathers of her Eldest sisters, the villagers who abetted evil, the village women who colluded..."

"The more people she killed, the stronger she became. Finally, the entire mountain was wiped out by her..."

"So, she set her sights on the temple outside the mountain. That temple was called... Miaoyin Temple."

Xu Sanyan looked up at the plaque and saw that the three characters "Miaoyin Nunnery" had, at some unknown time, changed to "Miaoyin Temple."

Could it be... this place is the legendary Ghost Domain?

He had heard a horse bandit mention it once when he was still in the Northwest.

Xu Sanyan clenched his four fists, saying word by word, "What does that have to do with me? Since you're dead, just settle down and reincarnate!"

With that, he slowly looked up, revealing a hideous face covered in blood in the dark night, fangs stained with traces of blood on his lips, appearing even more sinister.

Cisheng suddenly smiled, "Men... should all die!"

"Without men, there would be no oppression in this world. Without men, this world could become a land of ultimate bliss..."

"Hahahaha... So it's an old maid, no wonder the resentment is so strong!"

Xu Sanyan burst into laughter, his body like a wild beast tearing apart the three figures, and he stepped into the temple, shouting loudly, "Come on, you ghostly thing, I want to see if you have the ability to kill your grandpa!"

"Whoosh..."

In the depths of the dark night, a night wind quietly blew, and faint lights lit up in the meditation rooms around the temple, as if fierce beasts were lurking within.

"Bang!"

Wooden doors exploded one after another, and countless figures crowded out from the doorways, waving their arms and grabbing at Xu Sanyan.

"Hahahaha... You dogs, not hiding anymore?!"

Xu Sanyan laughed wildly, his four arms raised high, completely unafraid.

They wore blood-stained robes, their bodies all tattered and broken. Some were missing hands, some were missing legs, and some were even only half a body, yet they still swayed and rushed towards him.

Xu Sanyan crashed into the crowd, and with one punch, he could smash a person into minced meat, with various internal organs splattering everywhere.

These things should be the villagers from Qiyang Mountain back then.

In just a short moment, only Xu Sanyan remained standing in the temple, with various limbs scattered on the ground, a true Hell on earth.

Xu Sanyan's face was not red, nor was he out of breath; killing them did not consume much of his Qi at all.

"You can't leave. Once you're here, you'll stay..."

Cisheng's faint voice came from within the Mahavira Hall, and then a figure over three zhang tall, entirely golden, walked out from the towering hall door.

Xu Sanyan looked up and saw that it was precisely the golden Buddha statue on the lotus pedestal...
