340: The power of seven blessings

Xun Yang knew the situation was urgent, so he decisively turned and left; as long as they returned to the tribe, they would be safe, and Tu Niang, no matter how strong, couldn't possibly kill her way through the Dog Clan alone.

Listening to the fierce fighting behind her, Xun Hua's eyes were bloodshot; she knew the Clan Chief would likely not survive.

The Clan Chief's strength was originally inferior to Tu Niang's, and coupled with the continuous fighting over the past few days, her stamina was greatly depleted; even if she sacrificed her life, she probably couldn't delay for much longer.

"Hurry!"

Xun Yang turned his head for a glance, then frantically fled towards the tribe, and everyone quickly followed.

After a long while, the sounds of battle could no longer be heard behind them. Xun Yang looked at the forty-odd people remaining behind him, his heart filled with worry, but even more so with fear and unease.

He was still young and had not followed the Clan Chief for long, so he had not learned many things. Now, with the heavy responsibility suddenly falling on his shoulders, he worried that he would not do well and would fail the Clan Chief's trust.

Xun Hua leaned against a tree trunk, panting heavily, her throat feeling as if it were on fire; she could only swallow saliva to relieve it.

"Where is Xun An Cai?" Xun Hua looked at the people behind her but did not find Xun An Cai's figure. Could it be that she had also died?

Xun Yang shook his head, "I don't know, maybe she got separated."

"Let's go, this is not a place to rest."

"Okay."

At the same time,

Xu Sanyan was cautiously moving through the dense forest; without Xun An Cai's protection by his side, he felt a bit uncertain.

"Rustle~~~"

Footsteps came from a distance. Xu Sanyan suddenly stopped, his legs pushing off to leap onto a treetop, where the dense branches provided excellent concealment.

As soon as he hid, a group of people quickly passed beneath him, with Xun An Cai at the forefront.

The Four-Headed Dog at the very front suddenly stopped, its nostrils twitching as if sniffing something, then slowly lifted its head, its gaze meeting Xu Sanyan's.

"Oh, you're back?" Xun An Cai also saw him, her tone a little surprised.

"Bang~"

Xu Sanyan landed, surveying the large group of Dog Clan members behind Xun An Cai, and his heart also relaxed.

He hadn't expected such a coincidence, meeting Xun An Cai as soon as he arrived.

"It's good you're here, let's hurry and help the Clan Chief and them." Xun An Cai was about to lift him up without further ado, but Xu Sanyan quickly stopped her,

"I can keep up."

"Alright." Xun An Cai didn't insist and continued on their way.

As dusk approached, the tree canopy overhead blocked the sunlight, making the forest even darker.

"Boom!!"

Suddenly, a loud bang came from a distance. Xu Sanyan narrowed his eyes and looked, and although he couldn't see anything, the Snake Clan members must have arrived and were engaging in battle with the Dog Clan.

"Quick!" Xun An Cai obviously guessed it too, her expression suddenly becoming much more anxious as she charged out first.

The Dog Clan members also did not hesitate and followed suit.

Xu Sanyan did not follow them; instead, he circled around from the side alone, pushing aside the weeds, and the battlefield ahead came into full view.

"Kill!"

"Kill them!"

"Clan Chief!!"

A shrill scream rang out. Xu Sanyan, using the last sliver of sunlight from the sky, saw a head lying alone on the ground,

The flesh at the severed neck was jagged, as if it had been torn off with immense force.

The head was covered in congealed blood and dirt, looking grimy, but from its outline, it was still discernible that the head belonged to the Dog Clan's Clan Chief.

She's dead?!

Xu Sanyan felt a hint of surprise in his heart; she died before he even had to make a move?

His gaze shifted, sweeping across the entire battlefield. The Snake Clan's reinforcements had already arrived, numbering over two hundred. At the very front was a middle-aged woman, who appeared much younger than the Old Clan Leader. This person should be the Snake Clan Leader.

Xun Yang and the others were resisting with difficulty, their hearts filled with despair as they looked at the head on the ground, their fighting spirit instantly losing more than half.

They hadn't expected the Clan Chief to be killed so quickly, and they were caught again before they had run far.

"Alas, the dog god has abandoned us..." Xun Yang smiled bitterly, already not planning to resist.

"Kill!"

Suddenly, a loud shout came from the side. Xun Yang turned his head to look, and a look of surprise immediately appeared on his face, as he saw Xun An Cai leading people into the battlefield.

At this moment, her figure was like a Heavenly God descending, injecting a powerful stimulant into everyone's hearts.

"Avenge the Clan Chief!"

Xun Yang's heart trembled. The immense hope of a narrow escape granted him infinite strength, and the despondency in his heart was swept away.

Xun Hua's eyes burst forth with a brilliant light. She had never felt Xun An Cai to be so lovely, making one wish they could press her down and thoroughly dote on her!

Tu Niang frowned tightly. She was about to wipe out these people, but unexpectedly, another group of people appeared from nowhere.

"Kill her first!"

Xun Yang shouted, pointing at Tu Niang. This person was the strongest, and only by combining the strength of everyone would they have a chance to kill her.

"Hmph!"

Tu Niang snorted coldly, her figure flashing as she suddenly rushed towards Xun Yang. She saw that the Dog Clan was currently led by him, and if she eliminated him, it would be much easier.

"Kill!"

The battlefield was incredibly chaotic. Xu Sanyan hid in the shadows, observing silently, not in a hurry to make a move.

At this moment, Tu Niang was fighting seven opponents: Xun Yang, Xun An Cai, Xun Hua, and four others Xu Sanyan didn't recognize, but they were all strong cultivators of the Fourth Blessing. The seven of them, along with a group of Four-Headed Dogs, could barely hold Tu Niang at bay, but they were still at a disadvantage.

Tu Niang's face was expressionless, but her heart was secretly anxious. Her gaze swept around; the Snake Clan members were at a disadvantage.

The Snake Clan's elite had been ambushed by the Dog Clan Chief and her people, and were basically all dead or wounded. The people she brought were all ordinary clan members with limited strength, and with the influx of a group of fresh Dog Clan forces, the situation instantly reversed.

Tu Niang gritted her teeth fiercely. She had to finish this quickly!

She extended her five fingers, her sharp fingertips like long blades, stabbing directly at Xun Yang's heart. The speed was so fast that people couldn't react.

Xun Yang's face was slightly contorted. He twisted his body, trying to avoid the blow, while simultaneously raising his arms in front of him to block.

From the side, Xun An Cai leaped high, her massive fist smashing down with the wind. The other few also used their respective methods to rush forward and rescue him.

They knew Xun Yang couldn't die. It was too late to block, so they could only attack where she had to defend!

But Tu Niang ignored them, seemingly oblivious to the attacks coming from her side, focusing solely on attacking Xun Yang.

Everyone saw her intention: she was going for a life-for-injury trade!

"Be careful!"

Xun Hua was greatly alarmed and quickly shouted a warning.

Whoosh—

"Bang!"

Everyone underestimated Tu Niang's speed, or rather, overestimated their own strength. Before the others' attacks even reached her, Tu Niang had already appeared in front of Xun Yang.

She didn't need to trade injury for life at all!

The gap between the Seventh Blessing and the Fourth Blessing was like a chasm!

Xun Yang couldn't stop her full-power strike at all, and Xun An Cai couldn't keep up with her speed.

Even Xun Hua only had time to give a warning.

"Pfft~"

Xun Yang flew backward, spitting blood, and slammed heavily into a tree trunk.

"Boom!"

The large tree instantly snapped and collapsed, but it still had residual force, crashing into another tree behind it before finally stopping.

The scene instantly fell silent.

Everyone looked at Xun Yang, whose fate was unknown, and then at Tu Niang, who stood still, their thoughts a jumble for a moment.
