106: Chapter 106 The Web of Life! Descending into the Spider Universe 1610
In the void turbulence far beyond the crystal wall of the Multiverse.
Lynn was leading his maid group, following the coordinates provided by Uatu The Watcher, preparing to head to that extreme Universe ruled by a "God Among Men."
Suddenly.
Lynn's footsteps stopped in the void.
He tilted his head slightly, his pitch-black eyes looking toward the seemingly empty dimensional abyss to his right.
In his perception, which fused the [Space Stone] and the [Macro-Dimensional Module], Lynn clearly "saw" a web there.
It wasn't an ordinary spider web.
It was a bizarre, giant web woven from countless threads shimmering with the light of causality, vast enough to cover hundreds or thousands of parallel Universes.
Every thread connected to a parallel space-time, maintaining an energy known as "destiny."
"Interesting."
Lynn rubbed his chin with interest.
"The guy with the 'S' painted on him can't run away. But this web has piqued my appetite a little."
Lynn felt a deep aversion to this "Web of Rules" that forcibly dictated the fates of others. This kind of thing existed simply for him to tear apart.
With a wave of his hand, Lynn directly altered the spatial coordinates of their path, pointing toward one of the nodes of that giant web.
"Come, let's go somewhere else to relax."
...
Earth-1610, Brooklyn, New York.
The sun-drenched streets were bustling with traffic.
In a neglected alleyway, a flash of dark red light flickered. Lynn appeared out of thin air with his maid group.
"The air here... is so weak."
Hela frowned. As the Goddess of Death, accustomed to mountains of corpses and seas of blood, she found this peaceful, noisy modern city extremely boring.
"Restrain your killing intent. We aren't here to slaughter a city."
Lynn glanced at the fully armed maids behind him, who were ready to draw their swords and cut people down at any moment.
"Change into casual clothes. Treat this as a vacation."
At Lynn's command, the dark red armor on Hela transformed into a slim-fitting black trench coat. Captain Marvel Carol changed into a leather jacket and jeans. The originally murderous maid group instantly turned into several tall, cold, and glamorous beauties.
Lynn walked out of the alley and bought a hot Americano from a roadside coffee cart.
Like an ordinary tourist, he leaned against a street lamp, drinking his coffee and watching the traffic flow by.
"Bang!"
Just then, the glass storefront of a convenience store on the corner suddenly shattered.
A freak covered in black spots of varying sizes on a snow-white body came rolling out of the convenience store in a pathetic state, clutching an ATM machine.
"Put the money down! You human dalmatian!"
Immediately after, a slender figure wearing a black and red spider suit descended from the sky.
The Spider-Man of Earth-1610, Miles.
With a flick of his wrist, a strand of white webbing accurately stuck to the ATM, and he pulled back hard.
"Hey! This is mine! I just want to prove I'm a supervillain with some status!"
The spotted freak let out a comical scream. He hurriedly extended a finger and drew a circle in mid-air quite casually.
"Vroom!"
A black spatial portal appeared out of thin air, directly swallowing Miles's webbing, which then shot out of another black hole behind Miles, tying Miles himself up tightly.
"Dammit! What kind of hellish ability is this?!" Miles struggled on the ground in a frantic mess.
"This is the art of space, little spider!"
Spot proudly hugged the ATM, preparing to make his escape.
But because he couldn't see where he was going, his foot slipped.
The ATM flew out of his hands, and those originally extremely unstable black spots on his body actually scattered and spread across the street like spilled ink!
Over a dozen black spatial portals opened up randomly in various corners of the street.
Street lamps fell in, trash cans fell in.
One black spatial portal, about half a meter in diameter, opened up right next to the street lamp Lynn was leaning against.
The edge of this black hole even came close to touching the coffee cup in Lynn's hand.
"It's over, it's over! Space is out of control!"
Watching this from a distance, Spot waved his arms frantically, trying to pull those black holes back.
"Hey! Brother in the black coat by the road, get out of the way! That thing will suck you into another dimension!"
Miles, who had just broken free from the webbing, saw Lynn still foolishly leaning against the street lamp drinking coffee. He shouted in desperation and shot a strand of webbing, trying to pull Lynn away.
But in the next second.
Miles and Spot witnessed an extremely shocking scene that they would never be able to understand in their entire lives.
Facing that unknown spatial black hole that could swallow a car in an instant.
The young man in the black trench coat didn't just fail to dodge.
He didn't even put down his right hand, which was holding the coffee cup.
He simply extended his left hand quite casually, pinching his index finger and thumb together.
Then.
As if picking up an ordinary piece of paper from a table.
Lynn actually used two fingers to firmly pinch the edge of that black spatial portal!
"Sizzle..."
The originally violent spatial black hole, which was frantically devouring the surrounding air, let out an extremely sharp wail the moment Lynn pinched it.
The surrounding space seemed to be suppressed by an irresistible, absolute mass.
It stopped spinning; it stopped devouring.
It was just held there obediently in mid-air by Lynn's two fingers.
"How... how is this possible?!"
The facial features on Spot's face had completely disappeared, but his whole body froze in place as if he had seen a ghost. The spatial wormhole he was so proud of had actually been "pinched" by someone using physical means?!
Miles also remained in the posture of shooting webbing, stunned in place, the large eyes on his mask blinking frantically.
"You call this thing the art of space?"
Lynn took a sip of coffee, his pitch-black eyes glancing at Spot in the distance, a look of undisguised contempt curling his lips.
"You can't even figure out the most basic spatial folding coefficients. You're simply insulting dimensions."
As his voice fell.
Lynn casually folded his two fingers downward.
"Crack!"
Like crushing a low-quality cracker.
The black hole, which contained the power of spatial tearing, shattered directly at Lynn's fingertips into a cloud of black quantum powder, scattering with the wind.
The street instantly fell into a dead silence.
"Cool..." Miles swallowed hard, instinctively uttering a word.
Meanwhile, Lynn ignored Spot, his gaze turning to land on Miles.
In his holographic radar vision, a unique fluctuation was flickering on Miles's body that was extremely incompatible with that "web of life."
"Little spider."
Lynn turned around, casually tossing the empty coffee cup into a nearby trash can, and looked at Miles.
"There is a scent on you that I like very much."
"A scent called 'Anomaly.'"
