33: Chapter 33 Mind Control? Reverse Mental Piercing!
"Mortal, submit to me!!!"
Loki's pale face looked extremely ferocious under the illumination of the yellow light.
The tip of the Mind Stone was pressed firmly against Lynn's chest. That massive amount of mental energy, capable of twisting souls and rewriting human will, surged frantically through the staff and into Lynn's brain.
A cruel smile curled onto the corners of Loki's mouth.
He could already foresee that in the next second, this arrogant mortal before him would have eyes turn pitch black, just like that bug named "Hawkeye," and kneel obediently at his feet, becoming his most loyal dog.
However.
A second passed.
Lynn was still standing in place. In those deep black eyes, not only was there no listlessness from being controlled, but they instead revealed a mockery as if looking at an idiot.
"You... why aren't you kneeling?"
The smile on Loki's face froze. He looked at Lynn in disbelief and pushed the staff forward harder, urging the gem to release even stronger mental energy.
"Is this your trump card?"
Lynn lowered his head and glanced at the staff pressed against his chest, "You want to control me with a glowing flashlight?"
In the one-thousandth of a second that Loki urged the Mind Stone.
The crimson blood watch on Lynn's left wrist, like an ancient beast that had been provoked, instantly erupted with an extremely ear-piercing mechanical alarm!
"Beep—Beep—Beep—!"
A blinding red light lit up from deep within the watch face, instantly overpowering the yellow light on the staff.
[Warning: Extremely high-intensity mental intrusion detected.]
[Judgment: External energy attempting to forcibly tamper with the host's underlying brain neural code.]
[Triggering highest-level mental firewall.]
[Reverse mental pierce defense mechanism, activating!]
The Bloodtrix was the forbidden weapon with the highest technological level in the Universe. It had long been perfectly bound to Lynn's genes, blood, and even his neural center. Any attempt to bypass the Bloodtrix and directly control Lynn's brain would be regarded by the system as a serious provocation against the Creator.
"Hum—!"
A Universe-level data stream, a hundred times larger and more violent than the energy the Mind Stone had just released, surged out from the Bloodtrix.
This data stream contained the violent and insane primitive consciousness fragments of millions of alien demon gods from the Bloodtrix's gene bank.
They followed the staff's shaft, like a burst dam, and flooded into Loki's brain at the speed of light!
"Ahhhhh—!!!"
Loki let out an extremely shrill, soul-piercing scream.
This God of Mischief of Asgard felt his brain instantly stuffed with ten thousand roaring interstellar behemoths. His neural synapses were instantly torn apart by the massive data stream, and his consciousness was completely destroyed in an instant.
"Clang."
The Mind Stone slipped from his hand and fell to the ground.
Loki clutched his head tightly with both hands, his body convulsing violently. Two shocking streams of dark red blood flowed down from the corners of his eyes.
Followed by his nose, ears, and the corners of his mouth.
Bleeding from all seven orifices!
Under the unreasonable Universe-level mental backlash of the Bloodtrix, Loki's proud Asgardian brain instantly entered a crashed and shutdown state.
"Tricks of playing with the mind."
Lynn looked at Loki, who was convulsing and bleeding from his seven orifices before him, without the slightest pity in his eyes.
He slowly raised his right hand.
Without any buildup, without any fancy moves. Just a simple, brutal slap, swung fiercely at Loki's pale face.
"Slap!!!"
An extremely loud slapping sound echoed across the silent square.
This slap, containing the violent monstrous strength of [Four Arms], landed solidly on the side of Loki's face.
Loki's jaw made a crisp dislocating sound. He was like a ragdoll, spinning in the air for three full turns, then flew off diagonally like a cannonball, smashing heavily into a marble pillar of the museum a dozen meters away.
"Boom!"
The stone pillar, thick enough to be hugged, was smashed with a large area of cracks.
Loki slid to the ground like a puddle of mud, having completely lost the ability to resist. Half of his face was already swollen high, and mixed with the miserable state of bleeding from his seven orifices, there was no trace left of the high-and-mighty demeanor of a god when he had made the civilians kneel earlier.
Lynn bent down and picked up the Mind Stone embedded with a yellow gem from the ground.
As soon as his fingers touched it.
[High-purity Universe exotic energy (Mind Sequence) detected.]
[Absorbing this substance can significantly repair system core damage and unlock ultimate permissions.]
"Good stuff."
A glint flashed in Lynn's black eyes as he casually tossed the staff aside. Compared to this weapon, he was now more interested in the genes inside Loki's body.
Lynn strode in front of Loki, looking down condescendingly at this half-dead "god."
He raised his right foot, wearing a military boot, and stepped heavily onto Loki's chest, pinning him firmly to the ground.
"Don't... don't kill me..."
Loki's brain was still in the excruciating pain of the mental pierce; he struggled to open one eye, looking at Lynn above, his voice trembling, "I am... a god..."
"The thing I like killing most is gods."
Lynn sneered, and the Bloodtrix on his left wrist lit up with a blinding crimson light.
A dozen dark red biological metal wires, like hungry vipers, instantly extended from the watch face and ruthlessly pierced toward the veins in Loki's neck.
[Target locked.]
[Beginning extraction: Asgardian royal gene/Frost Giant gene.]
"Urgh—!" Loki let out a painful groan, feeling the blood and power within him being frantically drained by a terrifying suction force.
Just as the progress bar of the Bloodtrix began to tick.
"Boom—!!!"
The originally clear night sky over Stuttgart rang with a deafening clap of thunder without any warning.
Violent winds suddenly arose.
Dark clouds gathered frantically over the square at a speed that defied natural laws. Deep within the clouds, thick azure lightning danced wildly like silver snakes, emitting a terrifying heavenly might that made one's heart palpitate.
The air was filled with a strong smell of ozone.
"Hmm?"
Lynn frowned slightly and stopped the extraction action of the Bloodtrix.
He looked up and, relying on his superior dynamic vision, saw clearly through the raging storm a tall, burly figure wielding a metal hammer flashing with thunderous light, falling straight toward his position from deep within the thunderclouds like a violent meteorite!
Another one?
Lynn looked at the man in the sky wrapped in thunder; not only did he not dodge, but a crazily enthusiastic arc curled onto the corners of his mouth.
He recognized the newcomer.
Thor, Thor.
"Perfect." Lynn lowered his head and glanced at Loki under his feet, "His bloodline is much purer than yours."
