67: Chapter 67 Earth is too small, the goal: the stars and the sea.
Above the ruins of Manhattan.
The massive ring-shaped ship, having lost its Master, floated silently.
Lynn stood on the devastated street, stepping on the broken-limbed Proxima Midnight. He didn't waste time and directly raised his left wrist. With a flash of red light, Lynn's right arm transformed into dark red liquid nano-metal, instantly extending hundreds of meters like a chain, piercing into the command room of the ring-shaped ship in mid-air.
The assimilation ability of [Mimic] was activated.
In less than ten seconds, the firewall of the ship that Ebony Maw was so proud of was completely torn apart.
"Extract the star map." Lynn gave the order.
Massive amounts of cosmic data poured into Lynn's brain along the liquid metal. A complete star map containing the Nine Realms, the three major empires (Kree, Skrull, Shi'ar), and countless hidden corners of the Marvel Universe was clearly imprinted.
Simultaneously locked were the real-time jump coordinates of Thanos's main fleet and the interstellar cruise route of "Sanctuary II".
"Found it."
Lynn retracted the liquid metal, and his right arm returned to its original state. A satisfied, cold smirk curled the corner of his mouth.
This dried-up well that is Earth could finally be completely abandoned.
"Frank." Lynn pressed the communicator.
"Boss." The Punisher's voice rang out immediately.
"Notify the entire Crimson Guard. Dismantle all useful supplies and technology on the ship and move them back to our mothership. Three hours from now, the entire fleet lifts off."
"Boss, the industries and territories here on Earth..." Frank hesitated. Now that the Crimson Court had taken control of the entire globe and the leaders of all nations were kneeling, was he really just throwing away such immense wealth?
"Throw it all away."
Lynn's tone held no reluctance. "The top-tier genes on Earth have already been drained by me. Staying on this barren rock to play king has no meaning. Bring all loyal guards, scientists, and that dog onto the mothership."
"Understood." Frank stopped talking and executed the order immediately.
...
Three hours later.
Crimson Mothership No. 1, core command room.
Lynn sat on the wide throne crafted from the skull of a Leviathan.
To the left of the throne stood Wanda in a red and black trench coat. This once unruly Scarlet Witch now had empty and submissive eyes.
On the floor to the right of the throne, Proxima Midnight was wearing a heavy suppression collar. Her broken limbs had undergone rough medical treatment and were barely fitted with mechanical braces. This female warrior who had once killed without mercy in the Universe could now only kneel on the ground in humiliation, acting as a maid at Lynn's feet.
"Boss, the entire fleet is ready. The Space Stone engine has completed docking."
Several top scientists from S.H.I.E.L.D. reported while wiping cold sweat. They had used the Space Stone provided by Lynn to forcibly replace the conventional power furnaces of the three motherships.
Lynn looked down at Earth through the giant panoramic porthole.
The azure Planet had once been the starting point of his awakening and slaughter. From the HYDRA Base to Hell's Kitchen, from the Avengers to S.H.I.E.L.D., he had already cracked and drained the marrow of the hardest bones on this Planet.
"Initiate jump." Lynn ordered coldly.
"Hum—!!!"
The Tesseract embedded in the core reactor of the mothership erupted with an extremely violent, deep blue light.
Pure space law energy conducted along the mothership's dark red energy-conducting circuits, instantly transmitting to the entirety of the three massive interstellar fortresses.
In Earth's outer orbit.
The three Crimson Motherships, each over four hundred meters long, simultaneously erupted with dazzling blue light. There was no physical acceleration, nor was there a sonic boom tearing through the atmosphere.
Under the absolute power of the space laws, the space directly in front of the motherships shattered like a mirror. A deep blue space wormhole with a diameter of over ten kilometers suddenly tore open in space!
"Swish!"
The three Crimson Motherships turned into three streams of deep blue light and instantly plunged into the wormhole.
The wormhole closed, leaving only a circle of slowly dissipating spatial ripples in space.
The remaining forces on Earth, whether they were kneeling politicians or Avengers hiding in the shadows, looked at the massive shadows disappearing in the sky, a mix of extreme despair and relief swelling in their hearts.
He had left.
But he was going to wreak havoc on the entire Universe.
...
In the endless abyss of the Universe.
The Crimson Motherships shuttled at high speed through the bizarre space channel.
"Boss, we have left the Solar System." Frank stood in front of the console, looking at the star map and asked, "Thanos's vanguard died on Earth. His main force will likely head directly to the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. Should we go intercept Thanos directly?"
"No rush."
Lynn leaned back on the throne, his fingers tapping lightly on the armrest.
"That purple-headed Titan is my meal sooner or later. But before enjoying the main course, we need to collect the tableware first."
Going straight there might allow him to devour the Titan's genes, but Lynn's ultimate goal was to collect all six Infinity Stones to unlock the [Ultimate Creator Authority] of the Bloodtrix.
Lynn's thoughts stirred, and the star map in front of him instantly zoomed in, locking onto a coordinate located at the edge of the known Universe.
That was the remains of a gargantuan ancient Celestial's head.
Knowhere.
"Frank, set our course for here."
Lynn pointed to the skull icon on the star map, his black pupils flashing with undisguised desire for plunder.
"Not only is it the largest black market in the Universe, but there is also a 'Collector' who claims to have collected everything in the Universe."
Lynn glanced at Wanda standing beside him. Although the Chaos magic within her was powerful, it still lacked a core driving force capable of modifying the laws of reality. The Reality Stone was the perfect supplement.
"I heard that old thing has a collection called the 'Aether Particle'."
A cold smirk curled the corner of Lynn's mouth as he issued the first combat order after stepping into the starry sea.
"Full fleet, full speed ahead."
"Go to Knowhere. Steal his stone, devour his genes."
