112: Chapter 112 High-Dimensional Cage

In the sky, an incredibly massive hyper-dimensional portal, emitting a blinding orange light, boomed open.

This gate was more than ten times larger than the ones the Spider-Men had used before, directly connecting to the Spider-Society headquarters on Earth-928.

"The door is open. It seems this bat-spider has some sense of hospitality after all."

Lynn looked at the portal in mid-air, his hands in his pockets. As if taking a stroll, he stepped directly into the air and walked inside.

The Maid Corps, Gwen, and Hobie followed closely behind. Shadow Spider-Man watched the group disappear behind the gate, adjusted the brim of his hat, and ultimately did not follow. A conflict of that level was already beyond the comprehension of a 1930s detective like him.

The moment Lynn and his group stepped out of the portal.

Tens of thousands of eyes stared fixedly at Lynn and the others in the center of the hall.

"Whoa, quite the grand welcome party," Hobie whistled, his thumb plucking a guitar string.

Standing behind Lynn and looking at this dark mass of an army, Gwen couldn't help but feel a slight tremor in her heart, even in her new suit.

But Lynn, at the very front, didn't even have his heartbeat quicken by half a beat.

He looked up toward the high platform at the far end of the hall.

There, the exceptionally burly Miguel O'Hara looked down upon him from above.

"Lynn. An anomalous variable from an unknown Universe."

Miguel's voice boomed through the Base's broadcast system.

"You disrupted the canon event of Earth-65, not only abducting Spider-Gwen but also attacking Society Agents. Your existence is the greatest threat to the stability of the entire Multiverse."

"Skip the long-winded speech."

Lynn unceremoniously interrupted Miguel's lecture.

"You didn't open the door and invite me in just to read a self-criticism report, did you?"

The gaze beneath Miguel's mask turned cold to the extreme.

"Arrogant. Since you've walked into the trap yourself, then accept your imprisonment here."

He slammed a red button on the main console.

"Activate the High-Dimensional Cage!"

Vrrrrm—!!!

The alloy floor beneath Lynn's feet suddenly split open.

Four incredibly thick pillars of orange high-dimensional energy shot into the sky, instantly weaving into a cubic cage around Lynn that emitted terrifying energy fluctuations!

This was no ordinary energy shield. Its underlying code was directly connected to the web of life, capable of conceptually severing the prisoner's connection to the Multiverse; even spatial teleportation and quantum tunneling could not escape it.

"Sorry, Miguel. Not only has Earth-65 not collapsed, it's more stable than ever," Gwen said mockingly. "My dad is alive, and the Universe is alive. That 'someone must die' theory of yours is absolute bullshit!"

Miguel stared fixedly at the data, his head spinning. This contradicted the very reason he founded the Society; it was a fatal blow to his beliefs.

"Nothing is impossible."

Lynn slowly pulled his right hand out of his trench coat pocket.

He looked at the orange-glowing energy wall of the supposedly indestructible High-Dimensional Cage in front of him.

"So-called absolute fate is nothing more than a line of code written on this rotten web."

Lynn raised an index finger, with complete casualness, not even using the light of the Infinity Stones, relying solely on his Base-level absolute physical strength.

He lightly tapped his index finger against the energy wall.

"And I am best at deleting code."

Crack.

A crisp sound rang out, like glass shattering.

Under Miguel's horrified gaze, and the eyes of tens of thousands of Spider-Men who looked like they had seen a ghost!

Centering on Lynn's index finger, the cage capable of imprisoning high-dimensional anomalies was instantly covered in a dense web of cracks!
