73: Chapter 73 Physical Salvation for the Goddess of Death
"Die!!!"
Accompanied by Hela's extremely venomous shriek, tens of thousands of night sky sword in the sky transformed into a destructive black rainstorm, pouring down toward Lynn's location.
"Boom, boom, boom, boom—!"
Every single Night Sky Sword contained extreme death magic, easily slicing through the granite of the plaza and completely submerging the area within dozens of meters around Lynn in a black storm of blades.
Hela hovered in mid-air, panting heavily, her eyes filled with madness.
She didn't believe that in the face of the endless magic of Asgard, an outsider could withstand such consumption.
The dust and smoke dissipated.
Lynn stood in place, not having moved even half a step.
The dense swarm of night sky sword stabbed at his skin, but the vast majority were deflected by [Hardened Armor]. The few that pierced his skin healed instantly under the effect of [Cellular-Level Super Regeneration], not even a single drop of blood falling.
"Is that all you've got?" Lynn brushed the dust off his shoulder, his tone contemptuous.
"So what if your defense is high? Your stamina is limited!"
Hela sneered and opened her hands again. The entire land of Asgard trembled slightly, and even larger, denser night sky sword condensed crazily in the void.
"As long as I stand on the land of Asgard, my power is endless, and my divine body is immortal! I can revive a thousand times, ten thousand times! And you, you only need to make one mistake to be hacked into mincemeat by me!"
Hela's logic was very simple, and also very unsolvable.
Fight a war of attrition and drag Lynn to his death.
"Endless? Immortal?"
"That's just great."
Lynn didn't hesitate to raise his right hand and slam it down heavily onto the crimson blood watch on his left wrist!
"Click!"
A blinding blood-colored light shot into the sky instantly, piercing directly through the dark green death clouds that Hela had set up.
Lynn's human shell mutated and twisted rapidly in the red light. His flesh faded away, transforming into a terrifying body shrouded in a tattered black robe, exuding an aura of the dark red underworld even purer and deeper than Hela's.
The body had no legs and hovered in mid-air. Beneath the black robe was a terrifying face with no features, only a gaping abyss of a mouth filled with fangs.
[The eleventh alien form has been unlocked: Hell Underworld God (Undead Variant)!]
[Form characteristics: High-dimensional undead life form. Immune to all physical attacks. Can use the abyss mouth to endlessly devour all life force, soul laws, and death aura!]
"What kind of monster is that..."
Hela watched the black-robed phantom exuding an extremely ominous aura before her, her heart constricting violently. She actually felt a shiver of natural enmity coming from the other party!
"Come, let me taste how sweet your immortal body really is."
The [Hell Underworld God] that Lynn had transformed into let out a hair-raising, hoarse laugh.
"Playing tricks! Go to hell!"
Hela suppressed the fear in her heart and waved her hands violently. Ten thousand night sky sword stabbed toward Lynn again like a rainstorm.
However, this time.
The moment the night sky sword touched the black robe on Lynn's body, no physical collision occurred.
The abyss mouth beneath Lynn's black robe opened wide!
"Hiss—!"
A terrifying, irresistible suction force erupted. Those night sky sword containing death magic were like noodles, forcibly disintegrated into pure dark green energy currents, and continuously sucked into Lynn's belly!
"Burp."
Lynn let out a satisfied burp, and the dark red aura on his body became even richer.
"Not bad. Continue."
Hela was completely dumbfounded.
Her attacks, which she was so proud of, were actually eaten by the other party as a meal?!
"I don't believe you can absorb everything!" Hela bit her finger and pushed her origin magic to the limit. The ground cracked, and countless massive undead Fenris giant wolves broke through the soil, roaring as they pounced toward Lynn.
Lynn didn't dodge or evade, charging straight toward the wolf pack.
The abyss mouth opened wide!
"Whoosh—!"
Those fierce undead giant wolves didn't even touch the corner of Lynn's robe before they were screaming in mid-air, their death magic stripped away, turning into piles of dry bones scattered on the ground. Their magic was all swallowed raw by Lynn.
This wasn't a battle at all; this was a one-sided feeding frenzy!
"Impossible... This is absolutely impossible! I am the Goddess of Death of Asgard!"
Hela finally panicked. She discovered that her connection to the land of Asgard had begun to become intermittent because of Lynn's frantic devouring!
"You are not the Goddess of Death."
Lynn's voice sounded like a death warrant behind Hela.
He ignored distance entirely, teleporting behind Hela, and a claw like a withered bone tightly gripped Hela's skull.
"You are just my power bank."
"Hum!"
The devouring power of the [Hell Underworld God] erupted completely!
"Urgh, ahhhhhhh—!!!"
Hela let out an extremely shrill scream. She felt the divine power and life origin within her being frantically extracted by Lynn, like a bursting flood!
Her immortal divine body began to crack. Her pale, arrogant face rapidly became shriveled and aged due to extreme pain and energy loss.
"Let me go... Stop! Stop now!"
Hela struggled desperately, her hands condensing short swords to stab wildly at Lynn, but it was as if she were stabbing a phantom, directly passing through Lynn's black robe without causing any damage.
Lynn just kept gripping her head, continuously converting the Asgard divine power from within her into the Bloodtrix.
The progress bar on the Bloodtrix began to jump crazily: 41%... 43%... 45%!
In just one minute.
Hela had been sucked into a skin-and-bones wreck. Her endless magic, which she was so proud of, had been completely drained by Lynn.
"Bang!"
Lynn put away the [Hell Underworld God] form and returned to his human state in the black trench coat.
He let go, and Hela collapsed to the ground like a pile of mud.
This Death Queen who had made the Nine Realms tremble a thousand years ago now didn't even have the strength to stand up. Her divine body was on the verge of collapse, and in the depths of her eyes, only the purest, most extreme fear of Lynn remained.
She finally understood that the man before her was ten thousand times more terrifying than death itself.
"Step."
Lynn walked forward, one foot stepping extremely casually onto Hela's desperate face.
"Immortal body? That's just a matter of taking a few more sips."
Lynn slowly raised his left hand, red threads from the Bloodtrix wrapping around his fingertips, aiming at the dim divinity deep within Hela's brow.
"Now, along with your divinity, completely become my nourishment."
