118: Chapter 118 Ultimate Iron Man
"Master, the assimilation-type high-energy fluctuation captured by the radar just now came from Earth-TRN517."
"..." Lynn spoke indifferently, "What Universe is that?"
"The Universe where Superior Iron Man resides." Gwen quickly pulled up the data. "Tony Stark's personality there has been inverted. He released [Extremis 3.0], controlling all of humanity through perfect appearance and health. The armor on his body is crafted from some kind of liquid intelligent symbiote."
Hearing the words "Extremis" and "symbiote suit," a flash of crimson flickered in the depths of Lynn's eyes.
Although the Bloodtrix allowed him to transform into countless terrifying monsters and possess devastating physical strength, it still lacked a perfect puzzle piece in terms of "micro-biological control" and "intelligent network computing."
"Carol, open the door."
Boom!
Captain Marvel raised her right hand, and the brilliant Binary energy tore through the cosmic barrier.
Lynn stepped into the spatial rift without hesitation, followed by his three maids.
...
Earth-TRN517, San Francisco.
The sun was bright, and the streets were spotless. All the buildings here shimmered with a high-tech, cold white fluorescence.
Every pedestrian on the street, regardless of age or gender, possessed perfect bodies and looks comparable to supermodels. Their expressions were excited, yet every single one of them was staring intently at a transparent terminal in their hands, a morbid fanaticism hidden deep in their eyes.
This was the Superior Iron Man's "World."
As long as one paid $99.99 a day to subscribe to [Extremis 3.0], they could have a disease-free, flawless body. Those who couldn't afford it would instantly revert to their ugly, sickly forms, even facing ostracization and expulsion from those around them.
A ripple appeared in space.
Lynn's group of four appeared out of thin air in the middle of San Francisco's busiest plaza.
As soon as he landed, the crimson Bloodtrix on his left wrist emitted an extremely excited, slight vibration.
[Planetary-level biological network coverage detected (Extremis 3.0)]
[liquid intelligent symbiote fluctuations detected]
[Enable 'Technology Assimilation/System Deprivation' module?]
"No rush, let him deliver himself to us." Lynn suppressed the Bloodtrix's gluttonous urge.
Their sudden appearance didn't attract the attention of the "perfect humans" nearby, as these people's brains were deeply numbed by the Extremis Network.
But the true Master of this city couldn't possibly have failed to notice.
Less than ten seconds later.
Vroom—!
Beyond the skyline, several piercing sonic booms exploded.
Five Iron Man Suits, entirely pure white with streamlined designs like liquid mercury, whistled down from the sky and slammed heavily onto the streets around Lynn's group, surrounding them completely.
The pedestrians on the street didn't even panic; instead, they cheered fanatically.
"Unregistered dimensional stowaways."
The head of one white suit lit up with a blue light, emitting a cold electronic voice: "Your genetic sequences are not connected to the 'Extremis Network.' This is Mr. Tony Stark's private utopia. Kneel and accept quarantine, or be erased on the spot."
Lynn didn't even look at these pieces of scrap metal; he just boredly pulled a cigarette out of his pocket.
"Hela."
Clang!
The sound of a sword hummed.
No one saw how Hela drew her sword.
They only saw a black, crescent-shaped sword light sweep across the ground.
Squelch—
The five pure white symbiote suits, claimed to be able to withstand nuclear strikes, were sliced clean in half before they could even issue an alarm. At the severed parts of the suits, the silver-white liquid symbiote tried to re-bond, but the laws of death attached to the blade instantly corroded them into black ash.
Clean and efficient.
The cheers in the plaza were instantly choked off. Those "perfect humans" finally showed expressions of fear and scattered in all directions.
"Got a light?" Lynn held the cigarette in his mouth and tilted his head toward Carol.
Captain Marvel expressionlessly extended her index finger, and a cluster of ten-million-degree high-temperature energy emerged from her fingertip, precisely lighting the cigarette at the corner of Lynn's mouth.
Lynn took a deep drag and exhaled a cloud of grayish-white smoke.
Just as the smoke rose.
In the sky, an extremely dazzling pillar of white light suddenly descended, illuminating the entire plaza as if it were broad daylight.
Clap, clap, clap.
Accompanied by a burst of arrogant applause, a man slowly descended from the pillar of light.
He wasn't wearing a helmet. He wore a set of shimmering pure white liquid armor that flowed over his body like living mercury. He even held a glass of expensive champagne in his hand.
Superior Iron Man, Tony Stark.
He looked down at Lynn from above, his eyes filled with the disdain and conceit one might have for a country bumpkin.
"Oh, cross-dimensional visitors. I must admit, that sword-wielder of yours destroyed my three-hundred-million-dollar toys, which makes me quite unhappy."
Tony took a sip of champagne and said in a charitable tone: "However, I, Tony Stark, am a benevolent god. Hand over your dimension-traveling technology, and I can grant you permanent free subscription rights to 'Extremis.' Let you dirty-looking outsiders experience what true perfect evolution is."
He was used to controlling everything with an arrogant posture and didn't even bother to scan Lynn's energy level.
Because in this Universe, he was the law.
Lynn held his cigarette, slightly raised his head, and looked at Tony Stark in mid-air.
"Gwen." Lynn exhaled a smoke ring, "You said he was very smart, right?"
"Yes, Master. He is considered the top sage of this Universe." Gwen replied with her head bowed.
"Is that so."
Lynn's gaze instantly became extremely cold.
He raised his left hand.
Click.
The mechanical dial of the crimson Bloodtrix made a crisp turning sound.
Dark red data streams, like blood vessels, instantly gushed out from the dial, like countless bloodthirsty venomous snakes, instantly stabbing into the wreckage of the severed white suits nearby.
"Then let's see, after stripping him of this skin and draining his brain, how much smarts he has left."
The Bloodtrix system prompt sounded frantically in Lynn's mind:
[Connected to symbiote Suit underlying logic!]
[Forcibly overwriting Extremis 3.0 Master control server!]
In mid-air, Tony Stark, who originally had a playful face, suddenly had a drastic change in expression.
The champagne glass in his hand shattered with a pop.
Because at this very moment, on his proud "Perfect symbiote Suit," streaks of crimson bloodlines that he could not control actually emerged!
