109: Chapter 109 Punk Universe! Here's a High-Dimensional Electric Guitar for You

Earth-928, Spider-Society Headquarters.

"Bang!"

A hard alloy console was smashed into a deep crater by a single punch.

Spider-Man 2099, Miguel O'Hara's eyes were bloodshot as he stared intently at the data feeding back on the screen.

In front of him, the elite Agent Jessica Drew, who had just been sent back, was receiving treatment from a medical robot. Her hover-bike had been sliced in two, and her riot squad had been completely wiped out.

"You're saying the variant named Lynn crushed Spot's black hole with his bare hands? And his subordinates took down the riot squad in a single move without even using superpowers?" Miguel's voice was thick with suppressed rage.

"Yes, Officer." Jessica took a deep breath, her heart still racing with fear. "He didn't take us seriously at all. What's even more terrifying is that Gwen Stacy left with him."

"Stupid!"

Miguel turned around abruptly, looking at the 3D model representing Earth-65 on the large screen.

"George Stacy didn't die; the Absolute Canon Event was forcibly severed. Earth-65 should have suffered a logical collapse within five minutes, turning into an antimatter void..."

However, the model of Earth-65 on the screen had not only failed to collapse but was instead emitting an extremely stable, dark-red high-dimensional ripple that was even firmer than before.

"How is this possible?" The Cyborg Spider-Man beside him tapped on the keyboard, his face full of disbelief. "The collapse was forcibly suppressed by some unknown law! This person's power has directly overwritten the underlying code of the web of life!"

Miguel stared at the screen, his expression under the mask turning grim to the extreme.

If fate could be broken without the Universe being destroyed, then the belief he had always held—that sacrifices must be made to maintain the Multiverse—wouldn't it become a complete joke?

"This isn't salvation; this is a viral infection!"

Miguel stubbornly gritted his teeth and issued a stern command.

"Immediately sound the highest-level red alert! Activate the Omni-Universe Tracking Matrix. No matter which dimension he escapes to, we must bring him back!"

...

Earth-138.

This was a bizarre Universe composed of various vintage newspapers, collages, and glaring neon lights. The air was filled with piercing rock music and an atmosphere of anarchist fervor.

*Screech.*

A dark red crack opened in an alleyway covered in graffiti.

Lynn stepped out with his maid group and Gwen.

"Wow."

As soon as Gwen landed, she immediately felt the difference in her body. She gave a light hop, and her entire being shot up more than ten meters onto a wall as if she had lost gravity, then she tapped her fingertips and dropped silently back to the ground.

After changing into this Scarlet Spider suit, her strength, agility, and even her Spider-Sense had been magnified more than five times. Moreover, that constant sense of a 'fate curse' weighing on her heart had completely vanished.

"The new clothes fit well, don't they?" Lynn glanced at her.

"They're perfect, Boss," Gwen said with a playful salute.

Just then.

"Boom!"

A loud explosion echoed from the end of the street.

An armored vehicle bearing the Oscorp logo was flipped over by a massive force.

Following that, a young Black man with a mohawk, wearing a tattered leather jacket and holding a worn-out electric guitar upside down, jumped down from the wreckage of the armored vehicle.

Spider-Punk, Hobie Brown.

"Die, capitalist lapdogs!"

Hobie strummed the strings, and the piercing sound waves instantly knocked back several Venom Symbiote Soldiers who were charging forward.

But he was soon surrounded by even more symbiote soldiers. These were the riot control units specially developed by this Universe's President, Norman Osborn.

"Looks like your friend is in a bit of trouble." Lynn stood with his hands in his pockets, watching the battle not far away.

"Hobie!"

Seeing a familiar face, Gwen was just about to shoot a web to help.

"No need for you to act. We're here for tourism; don't steal the protagonist's spotlight."

Lynn casually raised his right hand and snapped his fingers in the air.

*Snap.*

There was no energy fluctuation, nor was there any world-shaking explosion.

The moment Lynn snapped his fingers, the laws of reality silently blanketed the entire street.

The Venom Symbiote Soldiers roaring as they pounced toward Hobie suddenly froze mid-air. Immediately after, the black symbiotes attached to their bodies began to crack and peel off inch by inch, like dehydrated mud.

In the blink of an eye, the originally ferocious monster squad had all turned into shirtless, bewildered ordinary security guards.

"Huh?"

Hobie, who was about to smash his guitar, froze.

He turned his head to look at Lynn and his group at the mouth of the alley, his gaze finally landing on Gwen in her dark red suit.

"Gwen? That outfit... it's interesting. Doesn't look like those assembly-line uniforms the Spider-Society hands out."

Hobie walked over with his guitar over his shoulder, his eyes sizing Lynn up with a defiant look.

"You did this? Mate, you don't look like a 'good guy,' but you don't look like one of those establishment idiots like Osborn either."

"I'm someone who breaks the system."

Lynn looked at Hobie, a hint of appreciation flashing in his eyes.

Of all the Spider-Men, the one he disliked the least was this Spider-Punk. Because this guy was a pure chaos-seeker and rebel who scoffed at Miguel's 'Canon Theory'.

"Breaking the system? I like the sound of that." Hobie grinned. The anti-establishment arrogance in both of their temperaments was surprisingly compatible.

"That guitar of yours is too crappy; the sound it makes wouldn't even shatter glass."

Lynn reached out and directly took the electric guitar from Hobie's hand.

"Hey, don't touch my—"

Hobie was about to stop him when he saw a piercing purple-red light glow from Lynn's left wrist.

Lynn extracted a tiny sliver of energy from the Reality Stone and the Power Stone with extreme precision, injecting it through his fingertips into the worn-out guitar.

"Hum—!"

Complex dark-red dimensional patterns instantly surfaced on the guitar's body. The original wooden frame was directly rewritten into high-dimensional dense crystal, and the strings emitted a terrifying sharpness that could easily slice through space itself.

"A High-Dimensional Electric Guitar."

Lynn threw the brand-new guitar back to Hobie.

"Try playing a chord with it."

Hobie caught the guitar and felt as if the instrument in his hands had gained a soul.

He licked his lips excitedly and strummed the strings hard without hesitation!

"Zheng—!!!"

A deafening, soul-tearing blast of violent sound exploded!

A visible dark-red sound wave swept outward in a fan shape.

Not only was the street ahead instantly cleared, but this sound wave, laced with high-dimensional laws, even surged backward into the Causality Network in the sky!

...

Earth-928, Spider-Society Headquarters.

"Officer! The tracking matrix has locked onto Earth-138! Target signal detected!"

The operator had just shouted out in excitement.

In the next second.

"Zheng—!!!"

A piercing roar of a guitar actually traveled through the quantum monitoring network and blasted through the speakers of the entire Spider-Society Base!

*Bang bang bang bang!*

Tens of thousands of monitoring screens inside the Base shattered simultaneously under the impact of this high-dimensional sound wave! Sparks flew everywhere!

The monitoring center instantly fell into total darkness.

Miguel was forced to cover his ears, looking at the floor full of broken glass with shock and fury.

The signal was completely cut.

...

Earth-138.

Hobie looked at the terrifying destructive power caused by the guitar and let out an excited whistle.

"This thing is too cool! Mate."

Lynn kept his hands in his pockets, looking at the monitoring net in the sky that had been completely hidden.

"The show has just begun. Let's go to the next set."
