27: Chapter 27 The Symbiote Attacks, Trying to Parasitize Me?

"Beep—!"

A blinding crimson light erupted within the dim CEO's office.

The Venom symbiote that had just attached itself to Lynn's left arm was originally filled with ecstasy in its microscopic consciousness. But in the millisecond that this red light shone, its ecstasy instantly froze, transforming into an extreme trembling that originated from the deepest part of its genes!

It felt that what it was holding onto was not some perfect host at all.

It was an erupting active volcano, a bottomless cosmic black hole!

[Warning: Extraterrestrial parasitic lifeform intrusion detected.]

[Verdict: Low-level symbiotic organism (Klyntar galaxy native).]

[Law of Devouring, forcibly initiated.]

A cold, synthetic mechanical voice rang out in Lynn's mind.

"Hiss—!" Venom let out an extremely shrill, sharp mental shriek.

It desperately squirmed its pitch-black liquid body, wanting to detach from Lynn's left arm. Its proud infiltration ability and parasitic instincts became a massive joke in the face of the Bloodtrix's supreme genetic suppression.

Escape! Must escape!

Venom's liquid tentacles pulled outwards frantically.

"Since you're here, why run?"

Lynn lay on the sofa, not even changing his posture. He watched the black slime struggling frantically on his left arm with cold eyes, a cruel arc curling at the corner of his mouth.

"Perfect, I just finished stretching my muscles and I'm a bit hungry."

As Lynn's voice fell.

The inverted triangular Bloodtrix on his left wrist erupted with an extremely violent suction force.

Dozens of dark red bio-metallic threads, like vipers that had smelled blood, instantly shot out from beneath the dial and pierced fiercely into Venom's pitch-black liquid body!

"Sizzle—!"

It was like strong acid splashed onto an ice cube.

Venom's amorphous liquid body began to boil violently the moment it touched the dark red threads.

Its biological mass, genetic sequence, and even its most fundamental life energy were being forcibly extracted and devoured by the Bloodtrix along those metallic threads in an extremely brutal manner!

"Screech—!!!"

An even more shrill scream echoed in the office.

Venom's massive volume, which was originally enough to cover an adult's entire body, rapidly withered at a speed visible to the naked eye. It tried to split off a sub-organism to escape, but as soon as it split, it was directly vaporized and absorbed by the red light.

In the Marvel Universe, the symbiote, which strikes fear into the hearts of many and can easily control superheroes.

At this moment, before Lynn's Bloodtrix, it was like a cup of high-protein nutrient solution being gulped down, completely powerless to resist.

[Analyzing genetic sequence...]

[Extracted special extraterrestrial traits: Liquid Camouflage, Cellular-level Self-healing, Anaerobic Survival.]

Feeling a cold yet highly vibrant energy surging into his limbs and bones, Lynn narrowed his eyes in satisfaction.

Although the combat power of this symbiote was average, its survival ability at the microscopic level was indeed unique.

In just ten seconds.

Venom's volume had shrunk by more than half, and its originally pitch-black, glossy color had become dull and lackluster, like a puddle of stinking sewer mud about to dry up.

Its struggles grew weaker and weaker, and its mental shriek turned into a desperate wail.

It looked like it was about to be completely drained by the Bloodtrix, leaving not even a residue behind.

"Stop."

Lynn clenched his left hand, issuing a forced command to the Bloodtrix. The red light suddenly contracted. The dark red bio-metallic threads quickly withdrew, retreating back into the dial.

[Devouring aborted.]

[Extraction progress: 50%. symbiote genetic fragments have been permanently solidified into the host's basic physique.]

Lynn stood up, feeling the subtle changes within his body.

With a thought, a layer of extremely thin black liquid substance instantly seeped out from his pores, covering the back of his hand, and then immediately transformed into the exact color and texture of his skin.

Not only that, he could even feel that his heartbeat frequency could be lowered to an extremely low level, allowing him to survive for a very long time in a vacuum or deep-water environment.

A perfect passive skill for infiltration and survival.

"Plop."

Having lost the suction of the Bloodtrix, the remaining half-puddle of black slime, now only the size of a basketball, slid off Lynn's arm and hit the carpet.

It was now weak to the extreme.

Without any hesitation, this tattered symbiote, like a frightened bird, frantically crawled along the carpet toward a distant shadowy corner, trying to hide itself.

It never wanted to go near this terrifying black-haired human again in its life.

"Did I say you could leave?"

Lynn walked over with large strides, his right foot wearing a combat boot raised abruptly and stepped precisely into the center of this black slime.

"Squeak—" Venom let out a faint wail, pinned firmly to the ground like a puddle of mud, not daring to move a single bit.

Lynn looked down at the "trophy" beneath his feet.

If it were an ordinary Marvel protagonist, the first reaction upon obtaining a symbiote would definitely be to wear it and get a cool black suit.

But Lynn didn't need it.

In the Bloodtrix on his wrist, any random alien demon lord he picked could crush the symbiote on the ground a hundred times over. Wearing such a self-aware parasite on his body would be an insult to his own strength.

However, although he couldn't use it himself, it would be a pity to just kill it like this.

Lynn rubbed his chin, a flash of extremely crazy cold light flickering in his black pupils.

"Since it's a parasite, as long as its underlying master-recognition logic is rewritten, it will be the most perfect dog."

Lynn raised his hand and pressed the internal communicator on the desk.

"Frank."

The Punisher's low, cold voice immediately came from the other end of the communicator: "I'm here, boss. Are there intruders?"

"No. But an interesting toy fell down."

Lynn looked at the shivering Venom beneath his feet, a cruel smile curling at the corner of his mouth, "Are there still a few mutant thugs left by Kingpin locked in the Underground Room?"

"Yes, boss. There are three left. Their bone density is far beyond normal people, but I've broken their legs, and they are now locked in cages like dead dogs." Frank reported truthfully.

"Pick the one with the strongest physique. Don't worry about whether he's dead or alive, as long as his body is sturdy enough."

Lynn released the communicator button and gave the final order.

"Bring him to the top floor."

"I want to raise a Mad Dog for the Crimson Court that specializes in biting hard bones."

Half an hour later.

Frank dragged a blood-soaked, heavily unconscious Russian mutant giant with one hand and walked into the top-floor office.

He tossed the two-meter-tall giant onto the carpet like he was throwing trash.

Subsequently, Frank's gaze was immediately drawn to the squirming black slime that Lynn was stepping on. Out of the intuition of a top-tier special forces soldier, he felt a deadly dangerous aura from this pile of black mud.

"What is this thing?" Frank vigilantly placed his hand on the handle of his Ion Laser Gun.

"A stray dog."

Lynn moved his foot away.

The crimson blood watch on his left wrist lit up with red light again, and a few biological threads pierced into Venom on the ground.

But this time, it wasn't to devour.

It was... rewriting genetic instructions.

"Since those people at S.H.I.E.L.D. like to talk about rules, I'll prepare a surprise for them that doesn't play by the rules."
