34: Chapter 34 Thor Descends, Are You His Brother?
"Boom—!!!"
Violent thunder nearly tore through the skies of Stuttgart.
A thick bolt of azure lightning split the clouds, illuminating the entire plaza.
At the center of the lightning, a burly figure brandished a square metal hammer, like a heavy meteorite carrying immense force, smashing straight toward the area where Lynn and Loki were.
"Bang!!!"
Mjolnir slammed hard onto the marble ground between Lynn and Loki.
The Earth let out a pained groan.
A visible hemispherical violent Impact, mixed with gravel and blinding electric arcs, spread frantically in all directions. The ground within a fifty-meter radius instantly collapsed and shattered like a spiderweb.
Under this force powerful enough to overturn a heavy tank, Lynn frowned slightly and stopped treading on Loki, sliding back three meters to steady himself.
"Chiss."
On his left wrist, the dozen or so dark red biological threads that had just pierced Loki's veins and were preparing to feast were forced to interrupt their extraction, quickly retracting into the Bloodtrix.
[Extraction interrupted. Current gene fragment collection rate: 12%.]
Hearing the cold system prompt in his mind, Lynn's dark eyes instantly darkened, and an unabashedly violent killing intent surged in the depths of his gaze.
What he hated most was someone flipping the table while he was eating.
The dust and lightning gradually dissipated.
A burly man wearing silver scale armor, a bright red cape, and long golden hair knelt in the center of the deep crater. Holding Mjolnir, which was wreathed in electric arcs, in his right hand, he slowly stood up.
Thor, Thor.
Thor didn't look at Lynn first; instead, he turned his head to look at Loki lying at the bottom of the crater.
When he saw Loki's miserable state, the Crown Prince of Asgard's pupils contracted sharply, and he gasped.
Was this still his brother, who had always been so concerned with his appearance and incredibly proud?
Loki's nose was completely collapsed, and half of his face was badly swollen. Even more terrifyingly, dark red blood was constantly oozing from Loki's eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. He twitched like a lump of mud, his eyes unfocused, clearly having suffered some extremely horrific trauma.
"Loki!"
Thor grabbed Loki by the collar and hauled him up. "Who injured you like this? What kind of monster did you provoke in Midgard (Earth)?!"
Loki was shaken so much he coughed up a large mouthful of bloody spit.
He struggled to lift his heavy eyelids and reached out a trembling finger, pointing at the black-haired young man standing a few meters away, watching them expressionlessly.
"He... isn't human..."
Loki's voice was as weak as a leaking bellows. "Kill him... Thor... kill him..."
Thor snapped his head around, his azure eyes staring intently at Lynn.
He sized up the Earthling in the black shirt, his brow furrowed. In his perception, the mortal before him didn't have the slightest ripple of magic, nor was his physique as massive as those cosmic beasts.
Yet he had beaten Loki into a cripple.
"Mortal, was it you who injured him?"
Thor gripped Mjolnir tightly and strode out of the crater, his entire being exuding the powerful pressure of an Asgardian god.
"Loki has committed unforgivable crimes; he stole the Tesseract and attempted to rule this World. He is guilty."
Thor pointed his hammer at Lynn, his tone stern and condescending. "But he is, after all, a Prince of Asgard, the son of the All-Father Odin. No one but the laws of Asgard has the right to judge him, and it is certainly not for a mortal like you to take the law into your own hands."
"Now, step aside. I am taking him back to the Divine Realm to face judgment."
Thor's voice echoed across the plaza like muffled thunder.
In his view, this was already the greatest leniency a god could show a mortal.
However, Lynn stood his ground, not retreating even half a step.
He tilted his head, looking at the righteous Thor who spoke of "All-Father's laws" as if he had heard an incredibly ridiculous joke.
"Asgard? All-Father Odin?"
Lynn sneered and brushed the dust off his clothes. "You aliens come to Earth to steal things and kill civilians, and when you finally can't win, you bring out your family rules to demand his return?"
"Watch your words, mortal!" Thor glared, his eyes wide with anger.
"It's you who should watch your words."
A cold light flickered in Lynn's dark eyes as he activated Bullseye's [Dynamic Vision].
In his vision, Thor's heartbeat thundered like a massive war drum. What flowed through Thor's veins was not just blood, but extremely violent and pure lightning energy.
The strength of this bio-magnetic field was countless levels higher than that of the half-dead Loki on the ground!
"I was just complaining that this trash on the ground has such a mixed lineage; it didn't taste pure when I extracted it."
Lynn stared fixedly at Thor, his gaze no longer that of someone looking at a high-and-mighty god, but rather at a supremely delicious feast.
"You've come at just the right time."
The corners of Lynn's mouth curled into an extremely fanatical and brutal arc.
"You must be his brother, right? Your blood is much purer than his."
Thor was stunned by these words.
He had fought across the Nine Realms for over a thousand years and encountered countless powerful enemies, but never had a mortal dared to look at him with such a gaze—as if sizing up prey, or even "food"!
What's more, the other party actually dared to publicly declare they would extract his blood!
This was the most extreme insult to Thor and the royal authority of Asgard!
"Arrogant ant, you are seeking death!!!"
Thor was completely enraged. Abandoning any intention of communication, he suddenly raised Mjolnir toward the night sky.
"Rumble—!"
The thunderclouds over Stuttgart instantly seethed.
Countless bolts of azure lightning darted frantically through the clouds, converging to finally form a terrifying pillar of thunder over two meters in diameter, containing destructive power!
This violent force of nature was enough to instantly turn a skyscraper into ashes.
"Accept the wrath of the thunder!"
Thor roared, swinging Mjolnir down violently.
"Boom—!!!"
That thick pillar of destructive thunder, like a frenzied lightning dragon, roared as it tore through the night sky, striking toward Lynn in the center of the plaza at the speed of light!
Facing this divine punishment capable of vaporizing steel.
Lynn did not dodge, nor did he retreat.
He slowly raised his right hand and slapped the grayish-black metal watch on his left wrist hard.
"Click!"
A blinding scarlet light instantly soared into the sky, meeting the falling violent thunder head-on.
"Such a high charge."
From within the red light, Lynn's hoarse, low, yet ice-cold voice, filled with endless anticipation, drifted out.
"Perfect, I'll use you to test a new form."
