23: Chapter 23 Crushing the Crown, Only One Emperor in New York

"You're looking for death!"

Kingpin was completely infuriated by Lynn's contemptuous gaze.

This underworld emperor who had ruled New York's criminal World for over a decade was far more than just a brain. Standing two meters tall and weighing nearly three hundred pounds, he had almost no excess fat. His muscle density and combat skills had reached the absolute peak of a normal human.

What's more, he was currently wearing a Wakandan Vibranium fiber battle suit worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Kingpin's legs suddenly pushed off the ground, his massive frame resembling an enraged grizzly bear as he instantly crossed a distance of three meters.

His sandbag-sized right fist tore through the air, carrying terrifying kinetic energy capable of punching through bulletproof steel plates, aiming straight for Lynn's head.

Lynn stood his ground, not even lifting an eyelid.

Just as Kingpin's fist was about to touch the tip of his nose, Lynn casually raised his right hand.

"Bang."

A dull thud echoed through the office.

There was no gale, no shockwave.

This heavy punch, delivered with Kingpin's full strength and enough force to shatter granite, was like hitting a rooted mountain of iron. It was caught steadily in Lynn's palm with a single hand.

Lynn's figure didn't even sway. His fingers spread out like five unshakeable steel bars, firmly gripping Kingpin's fist.

"How... is this possible?!"

Kingpin's pupils constricted violently, and the rage on his face instantly froze.

He felt that his right fist could not only not advance an inch further, but he couldn't even pull it back! Within the opponent's seemingly unremarkable human palm lay an inhuman, monstrous strength that he simply could not comprehend.

"Wakandan Vibranium fiber. Good stuff."

Lynn looked at the matte black battle suit fabric on Kingpin's fist, the corners of his mouth curling into a cold arc.

"Its property is to absorb kinetic energy and impact. Conventional blunt instruments and bullets indeed cannot penetrate it."

A flash of brutality crossed Lynn's dark eyes as his fingers, which were gripping Kingpin's fist, slowly tightened inward.

"But, it cannot protect against pure crushing."

"Creak—"

A series of tooth-aching grinding sounds rang out.

The Vibranium fiber was extremely tough, showing no signs of damage under Lynn's fingertips. However, the flesh and bone wrapped inside this battle suit could not withstand Lynn's crushing, terrifying grip.

"Ugh..." Veins instantly bulged on Kingpin's forehead as he gritted his teeth, attempting to counterattack with his left fist.

Lynn gave him no chance, suddenly exerting force with his five fingers.

"Crack! Crunch!!!"

The crisp sounds of breaking bones followed one after another.

Through that layer of indestructible Vibranium armor, the phalanges, metacarpals, and even the carpals of Kingpin's right hand were brutally crushed into fine bone powder by Lynn!

"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

The pain in his fingers shot straight to his heart. This underworld emperor, always known for his cold-bloodedness, finally couldn't help but let out a shrill scream. His massive body convulsed violently from the intense pain, and his knees buckled, causing him to kneel directly in front of Lynn.

"Thud."

Kingpin knelt amidst the shattered glass on the floor, clutching his right hand which had been crushed into a pulp, cold sweat pouring out like a waterfall.

Lynn released his hand and looked down at him from above.

"Your crown doesn't seem to be that heavy."

Lynn raised his right foot and accurately kicked Kingpin in the chest.

"Bang!"

The Vibranium armor absorbed most of the impact, but the residual terrifying kinetic energy still penetrated the defense, slamming hard into Kingpin's sternum.

Kingpin was sent flying backward, slamming heavily into the wall behind him before sliding to the floor.

"Blegh!" He spat out a mouthful of blood and tried to struggle to his feet, only to find that his lower body had completely lost all sensation.

That single kick, delivered through the armor, had cleanly snapped his spine.

Lynn ignored the paralyzed Kingpin and instead turned his head to look toward the ruins in the corner of the office.

"Get out here," Lynn said coldly.

From behind the debris, Kingpin's chief personal assistant, James, crawled out trembling all over. He had just witnessed Rhino's horn being ripped out and then saw his boss being incapacitated in a single move; his psychological defenses had long since collapsed.

"Don't... don't kill me! I'm just an employee!" James knelt on the ground and kowtowed frantically.

"Go get two things."

Lynn walked over to Kingpin's leather sofa and sat down imperiously.

"First, draft an unconditional asset transfer agreement with the highest authority for this building, all the establishments in Hells Kitchen, and the Fisk Group's overseas anonymous accounts. The transferee: the Crimson Court."

"Second, get a bag that's large enough."

Assistant James didn't dare to hesitate for a moment, scrambling toward the backup safe and computer terminal.

Less than five minutes later.

Several printed transfer documents, along with a high-end tablet computer for iris and fingerprint verification, were tremblingly handed to Lynn.

Lynn picked up the documents and scanned them, then tossed the tablet in front of the paralyzed Kingpin.

"Sign. Verify," Lynn looked down at him.

Kingpin gasped heavily, staring fixedly at the tablet on the floor.

That was the massive criminal empire he had spent twenty years building, the capital that allowed him to command the winds and rains in New York.

"If I sign..." Kingpin gritted his blood-stained teeth and looked up at Lynn, "can you let me leave New York? I have a secret fund in Switzerland; I can buy my life."

"You are in no position to bargain," Lynn said expressionlessly.

A flash of despair and resentment crossed Kingpin's eyes. But he knew that facing such a monster who was invulnerable and possessed overwhelming strength, he had no cards left to play.

Where there is life, there is hope. As long as he could survive, with his intellect, he could still make a comeback.

Kingpin laboriously pressed his intact left hand onto the tablet's fingerprint reader and then aligned his eye with the iris scanner.

"Beep. Highest authority transfer complete."

As the tablet emitted a cold electronic prompt.

The entire Fisk Empire, with tens of billions of dollars in fixed assets, casinos, shipping routes, and liquid funds, had completely changed hands on a legal level.

"I... I've signed it."

Kingpin breathed a sigh of relief and looked up at Lynn, a hint of hope and deeply hidden malice in his eyes.

Lynn stood up, folded the documents, and stuffed them into the black bag the assistant had brought.

"Very good. You can die now."

Lynn turned around and raised his right foot, clad in a combat boot.

"Wait! You said if I gave you the money, you'd..." Kingpin's eyes widened in horror.

"I just wanted the money."

Lynn coldly interrupted him, his right foot descending like a heavy hammer with a brutal whistling sound, aimed straight for Kingpin's head!

"I never said I'd spare your life."

"Bang!!!"

A dull thud, like a watermelon bursting, echoed through the office.

Wilson Fisk, the underworld emperor of a generation, had his head crushed by a single stomp, dying on the spot.
