25: Chapter 25 A Roar When Injustice Is Seen

It had been an entire morning. In front of the warehouse, there were still many big shots queuing up to collect their arms.

The scene was as cool as it could possibly be.

Truck after truck formed a long line at the warehouse entrance.

In the scorching summer heat, they were really giving it their all to get the weapons they desired.

Zhang Shan sat to the side, holding a fan and a glass of red wine, watching the spectacle. As he watched, he said to Zhang Le, "Look at these people. Aren't they afraid of the heat? Tsk, tsk, tsk. With such a big sun out, I truly admire them."

Zhang Le kept a straight face, looking at his boss with disdain.

"Boss, have you forgotten? It was you who told them to line up to collect their things."

"Hehehe. I just didn't have anything else to do, didn't I? Look at those truckloads of money."

Seeing his boss falling into the money pit, Zhang Le really wanted to stick a few big words on his forehead.

I don't know this money-grubber.

Victor stood in the distance, watching Zhang Shan with hatred erupting in his eyes.

He wished he could end Zhang Shan's life right this instant.

Now, whenever Victor saw Zhang Shan, he would grind his teeth in hatred.

In a small forest not far from Victor, another person was also secretly observing.

But what they were observing wasn't Zhang Shan, but Victor.

"Boss, what do you mean by this? Why are we hiding here?"

"Mona. I've discovered that your intelligence has dropped a bit. I am currently observing the situation. Look at the current situation; Zhang Shan is the one occupying the dominant position, while Victor is merely a passive pawn."

Moriarty looked at where Zhang Shan was and muttered to himself.

"Zhili Country is about to change."

"Boss, since we're already here, shouldn't we go over and say hello?"

"Haha! Mona! If we go to find Zhang Shan now, wouldn't that be crashing his party? We just need to let him know we were here, that's all."

"Mona was dull-witted." Mona bowed respectfully.

Moriarty waved at Zhang Shan from afar. He knew Zhang Shan must have seen him.

Zhang Shan was actually a little surprised; he hadn't expected Moriarty to come and show support, and surprisingly, he didn't steal his thunder.

At this moment, he felt that Moriarty was truly sensible.

After collecting the final payments and shipping the goods, Zhang Shan prepared to return to the aircraft carrier. He was not at all worried about a lack of orders now.

He had left his phone number for his clients! As long as they called him, he could take orders. In his own words, this was called keeping up with the trends of the times.

He told Zhang San and the others to go back first; he wanted to see the prosperity of this city. He had been here for so long but hadn't really looked at the city properly or appreciated its beauty.

Zhang Shan drove around leisurely, looking at the neon-lit streets, feeling that this city was alright. It wasn't that bad.

He hadn't settled down in Zhili Country yet. Although he had money now, his liquid capital wasn't that large.

So he still had to work hard, hard, hard to earn money!

If he wanted to dominate Zhili Country, he first needed a place to stay.

Zhang Shan looked at the tallest building in the city center. He decided in his heart that the next time he received an order, he would set aside money for an apartment for himself.

This was a simple matter for him.

Since he had a plan, he had to implement it. It just depended on which client placed an order first and how much the order amount would be.

As he wandered around, he got a bit hungry. He prepared to go eat something special.

He never expected that just by going out for a meal, he would end up with a little tail from then on.

Zhang Bin admired the scenery while looking for a place to eat.

A crowd of people was gathered not far away, pointing and talking about something. Zhang Shan's curiosity was suddenly piqued. He decided to go over and see what was happening. He might as well watch the show.

In the crowd, a pretty young girl was holding a wine bottle, pointing it at a man.

"Don't come over here, I'm not going back."

The girl was actually terrified, her hand holding the wine bottle trembling uncontrollably.

"I am your father, why can't I take you home? You are too disobedient, hurry up and put that thing down and come home with me."

The girl shook her head, trembling.

"No, you are not my father. My father died a long time ago, I don't have a father. I am an orphan. You are a human trafficker, wanting me to go back with you and then make me do other things. I won't go back. I don't want to die, I want to live."

"How can you say that? I am your father, what could I possibly do to you? Come here, child, Daddy loves you."

The man accused her with tears in his eyes. The people around kept urging the child to go back with her father.

But Zhang Shan could tell. That man was absolutely, definitely not the girl's father. He was just exploiting other people's sympathy to make the girl surrender.

Suddenly, a man grabbed the little girl from behind and said to the middle-aged man.

"Let's go, I've caught her. Let's leave quickly. Stop causing trouble, let's go, let's go."

The moment she was picked up, the girl's eyes looked as dead as ash.

But she still didn't give up. She struggled desperately, calling for help from the people around.

But the people around all thought that man was her father, and just wanted to take her home. So they kept persuading the girl to go back quickly with her father.

Zhang Shan originally didn't want to meddle in other people's business. But looking at the little girl, she seemed to remind him of his own childhood.

In an instant, a sense of compassion stirred within him.

"Hey, I say. The girl has already said it, she's not going back with you. What are you trying to do? Forcing her? Besides, you really don't look like the girl's family. You aren't actual human traffickers, are you?"

"How are you talking? What does it have to do with you if I'm disciplining my daughter?"

"No, no, he is not my father! Uncle, please save me! Please save me, I don't want to go with him!"

"Put her down, otherwise don't blame me for being impolite."

The two middle-aged men exchanged a look. One of them suddenly attacked Zhang Shan.

Zhang Shan effortlessly took him down. He then said to the other person, "What, do you want to taste a beating too?"

The little girl struggled to get down and ran behind Zhang Shan.

She grabbed Zhang Shan's sleeve tightly, trembling as she said, "Uncle, save me, save me!"

Zhang Shan patted the little girl's head.

"How could you snatch my daughter?" One of the middle-aged men sat on the ground and wailed.

"You're noisy as hell. How about this: let's ask the girl who she wants to go with? If she says she wants to go with you, I'll let her go immediately and let her follow you. If she says she wants to go with me, if you dare to come up, I will beat you to death."

He pulled the little girl out from behind him and asked her firmly.

"Little one, think carefully. Do you want to go with your so-called father, or do you want to go with me?"

"I, I'm not going with them. Uncle, I want to go with you."

"Did you hear that? Now get lost!"

Zhang Shan protectively shielded the little girl.
