7: Chapter 7 Moriarty

As the tattooed man said this, he tried to push the desert eagle back to Zhang Shan.

However, he suddenly realized that no matter how hard he tried, Zhang Shan's hand remained completely unmoved.

Cold sweat couldn't help but break out on the tattooed man's forehead.

Seeing the situation reach this impasse, the two rows of security guards behind the tattooed man could no longer stand by, and they all stepped forward.

In contrast, Zhang Yi and Zhang Er behind Zhang Shan were much calmer; like Zhang Shan's hand, they remained completely unmoved.

"Stop!"

"How are you treating our guest!"

"Hurry up and let our distinguished guest in!"

Just as the situation was about to spiral out of control, a sexy and enchanting beauty walked out of Di Suo Bar and shouted.

Hearing the beauty's cold shout, the numerous tattooed men had no choice but to stop and return to their original positions.

Even the lead tattooed man had to retreat.

Of course, that desert eagle was naturally no longer his to have.

"I apologize; my subordinates are ignorant and have disturbed our distinguished guest."

"I heard you want to discuss a big deal; Mr. Moriarty is already waiting for you inside."

"Please, come in!"

The beauty gave Zhang Shan a warm smile and prepared to lead him inside.

Zhang Shan did not refuse. He withdrew the desert eagle from his hand, reached into his pocket with his left hand, and then pulled out an exquisite pocket revolver.

This was naturally not something Zhang Shan had prepared in advance, but rather something he had urgently exchanged from the strongman.

"Beautiful lady, thank you for stepping in to help."

"Otherwise, these subordinates of yours would be nothing but corpses right now."

"This is a gift for you; please accept it with a smile."

Zhang Shan's eyes were filled with a smile as he looked at this beauty in a way that also brooked no refusal.

When an arms dealer gives a gift, what else could he give but weapons?

It seems women are indeed good at socializing; she did not refuse, but instead accepted it with great joy.

"You are truly too generous; my name is Mona."

"You can just call me Nana from now on."

Taking the pocket revolver Zhang Shan handed over, the sexy Mona deliberately extended her long fingers and lightly brushed them across Zhang Shan's palm.

As she spoke, she wore a gentle, shallow smile on her lips, and her playful tongue flicked left and right against her red lips, looking incredibly seductive.

Enchanting and seductive, everything was left unspoken.

It seems the number of men who have fallen under her spell could circle Saint Jacques.

"Miss Nana, you may call me Robinson."

Zhang Shan was perfectly clear about what was going on, but he still pretended to be a lecher captivated by her.

"I wonder from which desert island Mr. Robinson drifted to arrive at our The Emperors Place Bar."

The two flirted and played along with each other all the way, soon crossing the corridor and arriving in the depths of the bar.

Zhang Yi and Zhang Er followed silently behind, seemingly blind to everything before them.

The reason Zhang Shan dared to enter this unfamiliar place without any precautions was not entirely because he was bold due to his high level of skill.

Although he had never been here before, Zhang Shan knew quite a bit about Mr. Moriarty.

Therefore, as soon as he heard this was Moriarty's territory, Zhang Shan didn't even hesitate and prepared to start his arms dealing business here.

For no other reason than that while Moriarty looked glorious now, he was definitely in a moment where he needed someone like him!

...

The third floor of The Emperors Place Bar, an exquisite private room.

The master of The Emperors Place Bar, Moriarty, was sitting on a leather sofa; already showing quite a bit of gray hair, he had his arms around two young, scantily clad women who were acting coquettishly in his embrace.

There was another one working hard to serve him.

Meanwhile, Mona stood to the side, looking out the window, deep in thought.

Although both were women, Mona's status was clearly extraordinary.

"It seems three tough characters have arrived outside."

It turned out that Mona had been staring out the window, keeping an eye on the situation outside at all times.

Moriarty, who had been looking completely satisfied, heard Mona's words and waved his hand, dismissing the three women.

It seems that to have reached his current position, Moriarty truly had real capabilities.

"Moving this quickly doesn't seem like Katas's style."

As he spoke, Moriarty also stood by the window, watching the situation unfolding outside.

Outside, amidst the glitz and glamour, Moriarty happened to see Zhang Shan stuffing a silver-white desert eagle into the hand of Jack—the tattooed man.

"Interesting, interesting."

Watching the two of them tugging at each other, Moriarty's eyes lit up.

"It looks like he's not one of Katas's men; he's a newbie."

"But it's also possible he's cannon fodder deliberately hired by Katas."

Mona's gaze was as cold as water, devoid of any emotion.

As for being charming and sexy, that was even further from the truth.

It was as if she were a completely different person from the Mona that Zhang Shan met later.

"He wants to discuss a big deal with me; I'd like to see what this young man's big deal is."

"Mona, invite him up."

"As for Jack, don't let me see him again."

Moriarty returned to the leather sofa and began issuing orders.

He pressed a bell again, and a group of sexy young women entered once more.

"Yes."

Mona calmly replied with a "Yes," not caring at all about the situation in the room, and then left to go downstairs.

It turned out that everything that happened with Zhang Shan downstairs had been seen by Moriarty and Mona.

...

Zhang Shan was already sitting opposite Moriarty, and Zhang Yi and Zhang Er were standing behind Zhang Shan.

Both Moriarty and Zhang Shan held a glass of brandy in their hands, and both pairs of eyes revealed a keen interest.

As for those charming and sexy young women, although their clothes were like rags, they were completely unable to arouse the interest of any of the men present.

Seeing Zhang Shan's change in demeanor, Mona, who was sitting beside him, also looked at Zhang Shan with a bit of surprise.

"Not bad. Mr. Moriarty, you are exactly the same as what I saw online—heroic, powerful, and full of confidence; at a glance, one can tell you are a successful person."

As a guest, Zhang Shan didn't know the first thing about "when in Rome, do as the Romans do," and broke the silence first.

"I am a few years older than you, Robinson; this little bit of fame is nothing."

"I heard you want to do a big deal with me; I wonder what kind of deal it is?"

Earlier, under Mona's guidance, both had learned each other's identities, which is why Moriarty was able to say Zhang Shan's English name.

Moriarty was a shrewd person; he usually never spoke so directly.

But today, he was clearly full of interest in Zhang Shan, so he got straight to the point.

"A deal that will allow Mr. Moriarty to continue maintaining that heroic, powerful, and confident appearance."

"Lest Katas sully your handsome and heroic image."

Zhang Shan downed the drink in his glass and said calmly.

However, although Zhang Shan's tone was calm, it sounded like thunder in the ears of Moriarty and Mona.

"Fuck, isn't this kid a newbie? How does he seem to know everything?"

"I misjudged him."

Waving his hand, Moriarty had the surrounding sexy young women retreat again.

Originally, these arrangements were made to test Zhang Shan; it seems they were all unnecessary.
